Negative experience: Dear kind parents and fellow comrades, I would like to express my utter and complete disgust towards this set of grey buildings that our community has been manipulated into calling Upton Court Grammar School. I am extremely disappointed with the quality of this disgrace that society dares to call a school. My son suffered severe emotional damage by associating with the souls corrupted by the schools appalling faculty. If I may make one final plea before my untimely demise at the hands of this school, it is to bring this dreaded facility to its knees and wipe it off the face of our beloved planet. Negative experience: Overrated school. Teachers are not interested in the kids. Honestly don’t send your child to this school.

Negative experience: this is a bad school dont come your life will be ruined

Negative experience: Terrible school, teachers evidently have no care regarding children’s education and well-being. There is not enough structure or discipline, neither is there focus during lessons. Teachers just read PowerPoints and can’t control classes, many shout and demoralise the children with no intention of supporting them. The head teacher mr prickturd is a shambles and has all his priorities wrong.School buildings are disgusting much like the attitude and mannerism of the staff and students (embarrassing). Lunch times and break times aren’t managed well at all. There is no sense of community at all. Teachers poorly manage the well being of students who suffer in silence, teachers are aware of issues such as safeguarding are definitely not taken seriously at all which is shameful. My son dislikes his school. I would not recommend this school to anyone nor would I send any of my other children here.

Fantastic experience: I had a truly phenomenal experience for the seven years I attended Upton Court Grammar School. The teachers I had were incredibly supportive, typically going above and beyond for students. I found that the skills and work ethic I developed here were transferrable to university! I would highly recommend this school to any potential students looking to increase their future career prospects!

Fantastic experience: Left in 1958 when W R V Long was headmaster. Sport, languages and metalwork my strongest suits. I was the youngest of three brothers who were educated there. I had to work hard to keep up with them! I couldn't possibly have had a better education anywhere. Thank you!
