Alderbrook School: Reviews
Negative experience: Worst teachers u can ever have can’t even get decent seats can’t even have fun with the teachers m8 r/woooosh
Negative experience: the pastral and head years are rubbish
Positive experience: Nice school and all but not a fan of the colour choice of there uniform
Negative experience: Went here for 5 years. I was relentlessly bullied. They say they are inclusive but during my time in this school they closed every gender neutral toilet to every year except year 7 who had their own special toilet block which was gender neutral. Anybody who had a gender identity under the trans umbrella that I spoke with felt unsafe. They don't care much about students and more so care about the reputation of their school. There's very minimal help for mental health struggles and it feels like a trap if you ever want to bring it up. A lot of the teachers are way too strict or just generally aren't good at teaching. There were a few highlights of my time here but most of them had nothing to do with the school itself and instead were the people I spent my time with. The music department was the only real part of the school which I actually thought was good. Overall it's not terrible and I wouldn't say absolutely don't go here but there's an awful lot they need to work on.
Fantastic experience: 2 cool for skewl
Negative experience: Let me go to the toilet please
Positive experience: Good education but kinda weird the way they obsess over girls uniform, socks over the knees shouldn't be considered scandalous especially not on 11-16 year olds ♀️

Fantastic experience: The school is amazing
Fantastic experience: Yes or No With my Holiday Team buying some food and drink then night Dinner ️ Takeaway By Kimberley Gordon.
Negative experience: Paige and faith Williams use to bully me so I left and I do not feel ok right now
Negative experience: Bad seating plan in every lesson
Positive experience: Just went into year 10 at this school, and I must say, things are really getting better. Kids are better behaved (and that's coming from a well behaved student), probably because they get to commit to things they're actually interested in. However, what they do tend to talk about constantly is uniform. Like, I understand that blazers and ties must be worn and hoodies, etc can't, but these things are constantly talked about, which gets old fast. Overall, I still think that's it's alright, but personally, I'm just glad I get more time invested in the stuff I'm interested in now.
Negative experience: Many condescending teachers, bad PE staff and the way I was treated during my five year tenure here was unacceptable. Bad behaviour goes unnoticed and children get targeted easily. Teachers tend to care if your shirt is tucked in more if you are getting bullied. Most of the teachers here want to do to you is control you, they take your phone even when you are not using it, which is STUPID. They tell you when to wear your coat inside which is CONTROLLING, discourage creativity, and tend to punish students with special educational needs rather than take the steps to help these people. I only feel pity for my fellow classmates who decided to stay at this heavily glorified cesspit of what these people call an institution. Oh, and they also stop your child from using the toilet too! How wonderful! (CONTROLLING) However on the good side of things, there were many lovely teachers here that made my time here somewhat tolerable. To only name a few there was Mr Roberts, Mrs Evans, and Mr Tierney. However, I do not recommend this school at all to anyone as there are many problems which need to be fixed ASAP. If you hate your kids, send them here x
