Negative experience: The teachers in the school are completely rude. It’s cruel to send a child to a school that only cares about attendance and looking good. The food is unclean and I personally have gotten sick from many meals cooked at Phoenix and as someone who attends there regularly, I want to leave. Teachers are nice, but they have favorites so if you aren’t in that list, you’re down to get targeted by teachers. Also if you’re child is choosing to move to a specific house, choose carefully, especially if you have siblings who already attend there. Reason why is because they care too much about attendance so if you’re child is sick they will try and convince you to stay, and they are poor to resolving matters, and they don’t care about hearing the other side of peoples stories let alone letting them speak, a teacher today spat on my shirt as she was shouting at me when I was trying to defend myself, only to be greeted with rudeness, saliva and claims that I was trying to “wriggle myself out of a situation.” They refused to hear my side of the story eventhough I did nothing wrong and I have been backed by other people proving this, but anyway, thats it

Negative experience: I would not reccomended sending your child here as teachers are racist my child had a teacher spit on them im absolutely outraged nothing got done .staff favouritism students n they don’t care about the lower achieving

Negative experience: Unfair treatment, rude teachers, hypercritical teachers, over priced food, unfair free school meals (you get 2.60 a day so it’s either eat at break time or lunch, you can’t eat at both), attendance to strict, unfair with lateness, would rather you miss out on your lesson due to missing just a tie. I can go on and on.

Negative experience: My kid very big bully from school he come home with black eye, they robbed 30p off him and his special black pen. My kid is specially able and not right. They call him ‘denature enzyme’ He come home crying on wheelchair. School do nothing

Negative experience: Thinking of sending your kids here think again my daughter been bullied for weeks and it ended with a fight teachers had heads up on this happening but never stopped it and now there are gangs of girls trying to lump my daughter while shopping with her nan they are happy for me to move my daughter school but not gave a punishment out to the girls who are bullying my daughter this school is sickening

Fantastic experience: good school extra curricular activities and good sport facilities and good teachers. People that say the school is rubbish its not and teaching has improved and parents that complain about atendance policy are silly, also i would reccomend this school

Negative experience: I'm bloody fuming. You have thousands of pounds and you can't even fix a heater?! I'm obsoletely outraged at this situation. I was supposed to go to a football tournament tomorrow while my boys were at school, now I have to babysit them on Microsoft Teams of all things. I'm flabbergasted honestly.

Positive experience: Great school! Great teachers, who will support the pupils in all that they choose. Those who have written bad reviews have either been kicked out themselves and are bitter or are parents with children who are trouble makers and have been kicked out. Over all, this school is great and the new build just adds to the school (other than the small corridors, but that's just a minor issue). I highly recommend this school, the children are not animals like someone said, the children that attend are actually very polite and always have a smile on their face - that just shows that they are happy to go to Phoenix and are happy to learn there, so don't listen to the negative reviews, they are just bitter and spiteful people.

Fantastic experience: Most of the teachers are great and some of the kids are annoying as all kids are, but most are not trouble makers. The staff are supportive and do their best for their pupils. The negative reviews are probably from drop outs, you can see that from their spelling and grammar, or parents who just can't accept that their children need to stop misbehaving, pay attention, and get on with their work both in and outside of school.

Positive experience: Same as every other secondary school. Some good teachers/pupils, some not so good teachers/pupils. The old headteacher hadn't got a clue what was going on in his school. All he seemed to care about was money, running the school like a business. Hopefully the new one is better.

Negative experience: School with bad teachers who pick and choose the pupil they want to develop no rules as kids are aloud to keep their phone but if they touch it they'll get detention lots of teenagers that don't go to that school bullying school students and nothing is done about it

Negative experience: The worst school ever. if your the kind of parent that would hear you child complain constantly and not do anything about it then this is the school for you/your child . They have no compassion or consideration. The teachers are rude and stick together so to complaints don't get taken seriously.phoenix tried to destroy my children's education but it will never work... with or without Gsce they will make it as they are very bright and talented. When they do achieve their goal Phoenix. I will make sure they name and shame you. I will leave that request in my will as you put my family and I through hell.

Negative experience: My son saw at least 3 fights a weak and no teachers were there also the kids there are very rude by pushing on the bus and swearing.

Positive experience: Used to be atrocious, much better now. Time will tell if the new build will be beneficial

Fantastic experience: So far so good i like it at the moment but i n year 10/ above there is bullying but i would strongly advice you to bring your kids here and believe me its awesome.
