Bradford Academy: Reviews
Fantastic experience: really good staff are excellent dealing with stuff and classes are too far so good so far
Negative experience: The school is poorly maintained. Lots of roof damage in the school. Some classrooms are really small to accommodate full classes. Heating doesn't always work well. Fire Alarm and general security in the school is bad. Broken chairs, bins bags left outside classrooms. Toilets don't have doors. Overall it's a badly run school with a complete lack of management skills in leadership.
Positive experience: I was at this school back in 2020 and some of the teachers were super nice and helpful but some not so nice but in general good school for anyone of thinking of sending their kid there
Fantastic experience: Very good service
Negative experience: the primary is excellent but the highschool is terrible teachers treat kids like rubbish and the actuall highschool teachers that are qualified are never there its always subsitutes
Fantastic experience: Best school
Fantastic experience: Have been at this school since reception and now in sixth form for a year. Over the 14 years I have learnt a lot from this school. I learnt who I am, I learnt loads of things. They have great teachers who can succeed you onto great career paths you want to go to. Once you have left the school after post 16 or yr11, teachers are open to let you in and pay a visit. I recommend your child to come to this school and they will learn a lot about you. Until next time BA. Always in my heart. Thanks, MR Sahota
Fantastic experience: Bradford Academy is an all-through school in Bradford, West Yorkshire, catering to students from nursery age through to sixth form (ages 3–18). The academy focuses on academic achievement, personal development, and community engagement. Here’s an overview of its key features: 1. Vocational courses provide students with the skills and qualifications needed to enter the workforce directly or pursue higher education in specialized fields.
Negative experience: I am a student at this school and the teachers do absolutely nothing and they send you out for no reason and when you get hurt all they do is tell you to drink water and go back to lessons and they always say they will do stuff when they don't and they constantly give you detentions and they are promoting kids not to come to their school witch I think shouldn't be done and if u get attacked un provoked all they do is suspend the student for about 2 days so It could happen again and the food is ridiculous because my brother got food poisoning some of the food is out of date and then they wonder why you are sick and then throw fitts they scream at your children and some kids may have trauma because of that and they shout at you that much you could start shaking uncontrollably with how loud they scream at your children and then when ur kid comes home and tells you this you call then and they deny everything your kid could walk through the door in the morning and get pulled aside and taken into a boiling hot room and told to sit there all day or else they get suspended and have to do the day in there again the next day this happened to me once and I was in that same room for the entire week so they miss out on there learning and they give them work what they can't do and when they struggle they don't even make an effort do do anything like help them . I DO NOT recommend sending your child to this school.

Negative experience: Very bad staffs behaviour with parents . Academy principal really bad not helpful for parents .
Negative experience: Teachers need to improve badly one of them watched a fight while my sister got hurt
Negative experience: I can’t stand this place anymore, my whole self image was practically ruined by people saying stuff to me to be honest.
Negative experience: I get bullied a lot and they dont do anything about it
Positive experience: clean safe professional environment
Negative experience: make you stay in school when you have hours of free time with no lessons and pointless form time. school toilets not good
Negative experience: Very poor teachers do not listen to anything of what your child is saying if they have problems it's like they constantly fob you off then the irony is they tell you if there's any problems let us know! But don't do anything about it constantly detentions for no reason and buddying for my child just enters there classroom and immediately is sent out for no reason (certain teacher) and many times we have complained about this still nothing gets done our child comes home distressed and worries about going in the next day because still the situation has not been resolved
Negative experience: Absolutely disgusting behaviour from both teachers and students. They do not care one bit for their students safety and multiple fights occur in a day. A relative of mine was put into hospital as a fight broke out and his head began bleeding. The school didn’t call an ambulance but instead gave him an ice pack. They waited for the parents to come and then he was taken to the hospital. This is just one of many incidents and this school should be heavily inspected or shut down.
Negative experience: Awful teacher and unreasonable rules
Fantastic experience: shush
Negative experience: School toilet turning into shisha lounges
Negative experience: I went to this school for two years and once I saw a kid pick up a chair and throw it against someones head. I would rate it one star but that was kinda funny.
Positive experience: mate told me good school, at least its better than tong. might go here in year 8.
Negative experience: Disappointing School, Rude teachers, Kids are In gangs that hurt other 'Gangs' The teachers are afraid of these little 'gangs'. Teaching requires immediate improvement (Mrs. Chaffe) (Mrs . Rodgers) Please be aware and read reviews kids, they say that they are a good school because 'OFSTED' Just so you know its upcoming 2022 as Im righting this. There last Inspection was 29 Jan 2013, Thats 9 years almost. Their Curriculum was lasted updated in 2010. I WAS a student at this school and its not good for your education/wellbeing
Negative experience: Extreme Issues of Kids Fighting on a Daily Basis, teaching style and teachers require immediate improvement, e.g Mrs. A Rodgers and Mrs Chaffe. Most of the teachers are not qualified and therefore please do not make the mistake of coming here. Even if they make the entrance day look somewhat near OK, Thanks for reading, @BradfordAcademy YOU Must make Improvements

The teachers give all the help you need as well and it is very good when doing the year of your GCSE's because the teachers help and guide you to the right path to achieve your goals you want for the future.
