Fantastic experience: I am extremely happy with my experience at this school and with my teacher, Neil. The online lessons via Zoom were clear, supportive, and very engaging. Neil is patient, knowledgeable, and always willing to explain things in a way that makes learning easier and more enjoyable. Fantastic experience: I couldn’t be happier with CELT (Center for English Language Teaching) in Cardiff. Everyone there is incredibly friendly, and the teachers are highly qualified. I took one-to-one individual tuition with Neil over two weeks, and I’ll never regret it! Neil tailored each lesson to my professional interests as well as my personal passions. He even suggested that I design and deliver a guided tour through the art collection of the National Museum Cardiff — which I did, receiving wonderful feedback from him. The whole experience gave me valuable new vocabulary and pronunciation tips that I can immediately apply in my job. As for Cardiff itself, I simply fell in love! It’s a vibrant city with so much to do and see. The surrounding area offers plenty of one-day excursions — castles, heritage sites, the coast, natural parks... Welsh people are warm and helpful, and their English is perfect. So don’t hesitate: Cardiff is a great place to study English!

Fantastic experience: I joined CELT in Cardiff as a group leader from Saudi Arabia, and our experience was excellent. We spent six weeks there and it truly felt like home. The students were happy, they loved all the teachers, and the whole team was always supportive and welcoming. CELT is not just a school, it is a place where students learn, feel safe, and enjoy every moment. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: CELT is amazing! Neil Harris who is one of the tutors there helped me with writing part of OET exam. I used their writing correction service- 3 letters. He properly studied my letters and gave me exact pointers that would improve my letters. His suggestions were easy to digest and apply. I scored a 390 in writing. I found Neil to be very supportive and a thorough professional. Thank you Neil and CELT :)

Fantastic experience: Great teaching. Did a mock exam for OET medicine and I really believe this helped me pass the OET with Band B. Neil was professional and helped with strategy as well as prep. Would highly recommend every candidate sit a mock exam prior.

Negative experience: I stayed like this for five months and I didn't learn anything, just a waste of time and money, so I can only write on Google.

Fantastic experience: Hello everyone! My name is Cristina, I am originally from Romania. I have been living in Cardiff for approximately three years. Today I am going to share with you a part of my adventure as a student at CELT Before being a student at CELT, I couldn’t imagine that one day I’m going to love English. Today, after approximately two years, I can definitely say: I love English which was made possible thanks to the exceptional teachers who helped me during all my time at CELT, which wasn’t short. I study at CELT for 1 year and five months, with short breaks between courses. There are no words to describe my appreciation for all the help and support I have received during the time I was a student at CELT. There is a large list of things that I was able to achieve by being part of the school. I will list below just a few of them: Studying and reading about complex subjects in English easier than I ever thought I would be able to; Communicating with people for different cultures and places around the world without being afraid that my English is not good enough; Receiving the appropriate support in order to pass the IELTS exam; As I said before, the list is much longer than that, but what I want to say as the main idea is: CELT for me was and still the best place in Cardiff if you want to improve your English. If I hadn't chosen to study at CELT, today I wouldn't have a job at Cardiff Council which I really enjoy duing. A big thank you for being part of my adventure!

I've been there twice (in the under 18 school).perfect experience and awesome diversity in nationalities.Fantastic mix between studying and afternoon activities... undoubtedly welcoming staff and teachers. However, I hope they improve their " the academic experience" if I can say so. Don't get me wrong it's already good but not perfect

Fantastic experience: I'm from Japan. I spent three and a half months at the school and also lived in the dormitory. I had a great time. I enjoyed the classes and it was a valuable experience. After easing into the lockdown, the activities organised (tour around Cardiff Bay) were very memorable. If you are thinking of studying in Cardiff, I would recommend it.

Fantastic experience: Last year, I was undecided whether to stay home or to be abroad. Eventually, I departed to Cardiff, and I have not felt regret ever since. Despite what the pandemic has impacted on, I spent almost half a year at CELT school, and it was the most remarkable period in my life. I have not felt dull. In fact, I was intensely satisfied. I was taught by gentle teachers and was treated by kind staff members, especially Chen and Molly. They helped me to boost my English in different ways. I highly recommend visiting or contacting them. Finally, I am proud to be one of their students.

Fantastic experience: CELT school it's a fantastic place for learn English. You can improve your speaking and your writing. The teachers are very kind and nice, but the best thing is meet new people from other countries. For me, study for 2 weeks in CELT school was amazing, I learnt new things and I had fun.

Fantastic experience: It was an amazing experience with CELT, we spent 9 weeks of learning and entertainment. If wanted to compare my previous summer programs with the one with CELT, definitely CELT would be at the top. Professional teachers, kind stuff, great hospitality, and above all noticeable outcomes. As a group leader I'd recommend CELT first and then think about the others.

Fantastic experience: CELT school was really efficient to improve my English, especially IELTS course was really useful to prepare for my exam. CELT Residence in which I stayed was right next door to the school and close to the city centre, so in a perfect position! I met lots of wonderful people and students and all CELT staff was always very helpful when I needed it. I recommend this school. I had a fantastic experience here and Cardiff is a nice city to visit!
