Oxford war der perfekte Ort für diesen Kurs. Die historische Kulisse und die charmante Atmosphäre machten das Lernen zu einem besonderen Erlebnis. Nachmittags hatten wir die Möglichkeit, die Stadt zu erkunden, was eine tolle Gelegenheit war, die neu erlernten Sprachkenntnisse direkt anzuwenden. Der Kurs war hervorragend organisiert. Jeder Tag war klar strukturiert und bot eine ausgewogene Mischung aus Grammatik, Vokabeltraining, Sprechübungen und interaktiven Aktivitäten. Besonders hilfreich war der Fokus auf alltägliche Gespräche, sodass ich schnell das Gefühl hatte, mich in einfachen Situationen ausdrücken zu können. Die Lehrer waren äußerst kompetent und geduldig. Sie erklärten die Inhalte auf eine Weise, die leicht verständlich war, und schafften eine entspannte Atmosphäre, in der ich mich wohl fühlte, auch Fehler zu machen.

Fantastic experience: I live in Oxford, and I have collaborated with Oxford International Study Centre many times to have my students study here, and each time has been very pleasant. Firstly, the school is ideally located in the center of Oxford. Many other language institutions may claim to be in Oxford in their ads, but in reality, they are on the outskirts, and you cannot experience the city of dreaming spires directly. Living and studying in such a central location, students have the opportunity to invovle in hustle and bustle of the city-go shopping, take buses, visit museums, not to mention the school's rich outdoor activities every afternoon. You can also customize evening activities, which is a great option for younger children, and for older students, there is the choice of free time in the evening. In summary, the programme are very flexible to meet the different needs of each group. Secondly, the school's management team is very professional and supportive. I have collaborated with other language centers, and I find that Oxford International Study Centre has the lowest communication cost. If there are problems that need to be resolved, they put your needs at first, quickly provide advice based on years of experience even once happened in the middle of night. Finally, regarding the courses, the curriculum is set up in a very interesting way-role play, themed topic, group work etc., my students all enjoy it and look forward to coming back next time. If the course is deemed unsuitable, whether it's too difficult or too easy, the school can assist students in transferring to another class. All in all, I found OISC is an exceptional place to study English.

Fantastic experience: Hello everyone, I want to share my experience of studying English at OISC school. I was a student there for 6 months until I got my first job in the UK. I have to confess, when I came to Oxford this years I couldn't say a word in English. I knew some words and little grammar, but I wasn't be able to speak and write without translator. So, my goal was to improve my English to a level sufficient to work in my profession. First of all I would like to say you will never regret studying here! OISC has a unique crew of the best professionals, the most interesting and talented teachers whom I have ever studied. The educational process not just interesting it is breathtaking, surprising, inspirational, makes our thinking out of the frames and very creative. I am really grateful to every teacher for their unique approach of studying, kindness, tolerance for our mistakes and unlimited positivity - George, Susannah, Rob, Eric, Clear, Nick, Steve. They have became as my friends for the last 6 months . I also extremely grateful to school administration for their kind positive attitude, energy, responsiveness and support students to manage their difficulties, effective communications, kindness, wisdom. Rigor and discipline are there as well. This makes us, students, more responsible for our success. My deepest respect to Ben and Kim! You are wizards! Negative experience: After a one-month course on Teacher Training programme, utter disaster and complete waste of time and money. No new methodology, no gamification, no project work, no IT, no apps, no OHP, no C2 activities, just gap filling for Penny Lane and a little bell to keep us silent, useless teachers and staff. Erasmus+ students and CLIL, go somewhere else!!!

Negative experience: I would never recommend this school to any teacher. The school fails to have the professional media required for teacher training. None of the teachers that did a course here met his/her expectations because they don't even respect the schedule they send you before starting. If they can't offer a good course, they should stop offering it as people often feel really disappointed with the lessons given, at least with the teachers' training programme.

Positive experience: Hello. Our 5 yo daughter was there last year. 7 weeks. She liked going there and the staff made her feel comfortable. Bare in mind that dealing with a 5yo child without English knowledge is difficult, they dealt it quite well. Some troubles at the beginning, but we solved them. All the staff is OK, but a special THANK YOU to Heather, her teacher. I am sure you can find better schools around but if you are looking for some small school were you can leave your child without troubles, worries etc, go to OISC!
