Fantastic experience: This last summer I decided to choose a summer course for me and my son and withought any doubt was one of the gratest experiences we had. Very good profesionals whose organiced al activities for my son that wants to repeat again the experience for next summer.

Negative experience: تجربتي كانت سيئة وغير موفقه، نصيحه لاتاخذون فترة طويله جربوا لفترة قصيره واذا ارتحتوا كملوا، ربحيين، ولاعندهم مرونه، عنصريين جدًا تجاه العرب (الاستاذ اذا شافك لابسه اسود يقول عنك ايمو) The worst place ever, I wasted my time and my money here, about teachers "they have one called "MARTEN" is racist And he doesn't respect the students,, About the staff "EMAA" was very strict and inflexible, but the other they was very friendly,

Fantastic experience: I have just recently finished a short, but very useful course as a part of preparation for IELTS. It was the best learning experience I have ever had. Teachers were helpful as well as playful. The learning process was light and efficient. More over, atmosphere in a whole school was really friendly and made you feel accepted from the first day. There is just one sad moment. That this experience was so short. Thanks to all the members of this beautiful community for great time.

Fantastic experience: That has been one of the best decisions I've ever made. I came across ICL Southampton while searching for options. I enrolled in a full-day 6-week course with Martin and Mathew. After that, I studied at home for 2 months and returned to the center for a 2-week course before my exam. With all their lessons and the guidance on how to approach the questions, I was able to achieve an overall score of 6.5 (L6.5, R7, W6.5, S6) within 4 months (including self-study 1 hour listening, 1 hour reading and 2 hours for writing). Before becoming an ICL student, I had no idea how to write an essay or even complete a sentence. I used to be afraid of reading and felt exhausted after finishing just 1 passage. However, I now love reading, especially articles similar to the IELTS exam. The official staff are also helpful and very friendly. Julie and Emma provide great support to the students, being available anytime you need assistance, whether it's about buying things or finding interesting activities to do. I definitely would want to go back and join for more lessons if I ever plan to do so.

Negative experience: The school is a bit bad to be honest i’ll start with the teachers emma is very good with communication skills she is brilliant. me and a view other student agree with that and we wold like to have emma in communication skill revean the communication skills teacher is not good with higher level she is most likely to be with the lower level and she is a bit cringe (: and the lesson is 70% she talking or asking student to describe a word which we all understand already and 5% real communication skills (student talking to each other and play some English game’s) 25% videos from YouTube. ones she spent the whole class just play an 8m YouTube video and play it over and over to “describe” some adj or adv or spend 2days for one subject and the class is very very boring and dull anyway i see that she is mostly suitable for low levels not higher levels . marten not that bad he is a good person overall and great teacher the building itself is ancient there’s a bugs that just chilling around the classrooms the decor is simple and boring there’s no air conditioning I can’t imagine how it well looks like in the summer The school should take this comment and try to solve this problems

Fantastic experience: I have been here for 3 months in the afternoons and the teacher Matthew was brilliant he has a vocation for teaching, the receptionist is very friendly, I felt very welcome and I learnt a lot.

Positive experience: درست كم شهر واستفدت كثير بس فيه عنصريه من المدير ووحده ثانيه عالمسلمين بس اللي اعرفه ان العنصريين راحوا والمعهد افضل معهد في ساوثهامبتون في الفعاليات ( الرحلات) بس المدينه خايسه جدا مافيها اماكن سياحية وحلوه ماعندك الا السنتر والمعهد كمدرسين ممتاز بس دايم يتغيرون يعني ممكن كل اسبوع يغيرون المدرسين او يجيبون مدرسين من مدن ثانيه ونصيحتي الكلاس الاول هو المهم اما الثاني والثالث موب مهمين سواليف بس وفالاخير لو قالوا ارجع ادرس عندنا ونعطيك خصم مارحت بسبب المدينه

Fantastic experience: I have begun the elementary course in TEG School in Southampton four week ago, and my experience about teachers is very good, they are prepared and pleasant. The head of school is available if you have some problems or requests, he already helped me. In the school are also kitchen (with tea, koffee, milk...), reading room, video room. With tests and conversation the school offers you the most appropriate class to your level of language knowledge. I advice TEG School for those who want to learn English.

Negative experience: They disappoint me at the last minute saying they don't ave enough student to start the course while I paid full. Simply they put me under the bus with their unprofessional service even though they refund my money. Thankfully, I found a place very near to this one with less price and more facilities.

Fantastic experience: معهد رائع قضيت عندهم ٤ شهور وصراحة تعلمت الكثير المعلمين يهتمون بالطالب و ودودين معه ويحاولون التواصل معه بشتى الطرق الرحلات المدرسية رائعة حيث تضطر تتحدث بالإنجليزي مع الطلاب والمعلمين لمدة لاتقل عن ٥ ساعات يوم واحد في الأسبوع ، تجربة رائعة حقاً ، أيضاً عن المدينة هادئة وأهلها طيبين بعكس باقي مدن بريطانيا ومتعاونين جداً ويحبون الطلاب اللي يتعلمون اللغة ( الحقيقة هذه المدينة ربما شرت ولائي لها من خلال طيبة وأخلاق السكان ) ساوثهامبتون ♥️♥️

Fantastic experience: My son David (10) enjoyed his three-week course at TEG English Southampton a lot. The teachers and the support staff are very friendly and professional. The course program was interesting and challenging at an ideal level. The class size was small, allowing for intense teacher-student-interaction. The afternoon activities were fun. My son improved his English a lot, and he is looking forward to do another course in Southampton next year.

Fantastic experience: I'm Domenico Mongiello, 47 years old, and I'm Italian. I studied at TEG school in Southampton for six week, last June and July. I wish to say that It has been a pleasant and useful experience. The staff is very welcoming and available for all your requirements. The facilities are well maintained and there are specific spaces dedicated to the students (kitchen, reading room, video room). The teachers are prepared and friendly. The head of the school is always available for suggestions and to solve any problems. The school offers you a certain flexibility to adapt your lessons to your level of language knowledge. Negative experience: My 14 year old niece was unimpressed with the activities provided in the afternoon. Apparently they lack imagination and led by in-experienced supervisors. Also, a 4 week contract was imposed to me but I learned that other students have been provided 1 week rolling contracts. The result of level test is not taken into account as my nice was put in a class with beginners. I have been asked to pay the full payment on the first day of the 4 week period, not weekly as claimed.

The staff are supportive and organise a great social programme, which helps you to improve your speaking while making new friends. Fantastic experience: I spent four weeks at TEG. The school is located in a very central position in Southampton. Staff is welcoming and very kind. They always replied promptly to my inquiries and I had not any problem to find the best solution for my purpose. Lessons are well organised and never boring. They are structured in order to cover all different skills: listening, speaking, reading, writing and grammar. Social program is a precious way to meet new people, to socialise and to learn in the meantime. Fantastic experience: I spent three weeks in the college and it was a great experience. I improved my English level a lot , not only grammar skills, but also conversation and listening. Claudia, Sarah, Veronique, Emma and all the other teachers are really wonderful. They are very passionate about their job and make the classes really interesting and funny, with games and conversations activities. The people at Reception are really more than helpful, they even helped me with my appointment for the NIN number and some other doubts. Whenever you have a issue, you are welcome to get in and ask about it. They will solve it for you with a big smile. The classrooms are really comfortable and the groups are not so big, around 8 or 10 students per classroom. The Wifi works perfectly and there are also some computers and a study room that you can use all day. There is also a little library with many books, movies and audio books. The price of the classes is reasonable and I would like to return for sure. It was much more than I expected. Pasé tres semanas en esta escuela de idiomas y fue una gran experiencia. Mejoré mucho mi nivel de inglés, no solo las habilidades gramaticales, sino también la conversación y la escucha. Claudia, Sarah, Veronique, Emma y todos los demás profesores son realmente maravillosos. Son muy apasionados con su trabajo y hacen que las clases sean realmente interesantes y divertidas, con juegos y actividades de conversación. El equipo de recepción es realmente más que servicial, incluso me ayudaron con mi cita para el número de NIN y algunas otras dudas. Siempre que tengas un problema, puedes entrar y preguntar al respecto. Lo resolverán por ti con una gran sonrisa. Las aulas son realmente cómodas y los grupos no son tan grandes, alrededor de 8 o 10 estudiantes por aula. El Wifi funciona perfectamente y hay disponibles algunos ordenadores y una sala de estudio que puedes usar todo el día. También hay una pequeña biblioteca con muchos libros, películas y audiolibros. El precio de las clases es razonable y me gustaría regresar seguro. Fue mucho más de lo que esperaba.

Fantastic experience: I strongly recommend Teg school because I spent a wonderful time with every teacher and staff! Teg is not only going to school but it is about having an international and multicultural experience of life and this is thanks overall to the school's social programme!!! The perfect balance between high professionalism and fun. In two months spent in the College I learnt a lot!!

I`ve met a lot of incredible people from around the world and excelent teachers from different regions of the United Kingdom and other countries. I`ve been doing several courses here just to improve my English and prepare for English exams and they have been very useful. The college facilities are great (it`s a real British building) with all that the students need. Now it`ll open up opportunities in my professional career wherever I want, and I can say that studying English in SLC is a piece of cake!

Fantastic experience: First of all I would like to thank you all the SLC`s staff. They are really friendly and helpful. It was an incredible time studying there (3 months), I could review the grammar and hone my English. That is why I can say that my objective was accomplished.

Fortunately my English has improved a lot and now, I have very good notes and details to continue my study on my own way. Negative experience: We took a German class with SLC in Summer 2013. Half way through we got a new teacher - which was good new for us as the first teacher was very incompetent and filled half of the class with 'well', 'umm', 'so' and pauses! The SLC won't reimburse us for the inconvenience and poor quality of the teacher nor can they meet us half way to extend the lesson with the new teacher. Not helpful!
