Fantastic experience: I’ve been learning French with Cécile from French à la Carte, and she has been a fantastic teacher. She takes the time to adapt each lesson to my level, and is always patient in letting me revisit areas I find difficult. What I really value is how she chooses topics I’m genuinely interested in for conversation practice, while also making sure there’s always some formal new learning included. Cécile keeps me motivated by encouraging learning outside of lessons too — she recommends reading, gives me homework, and helps me build good habits. The combination of her structured approach and her flexibility makes every lesson enjoyable and effective. Learning French is about looking at how far you have come, not how far you have to go and I’ve feel like i am making solid progress and feel much more confident with my French thanks to her. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I are learning with Camii and it is thoroughly enjoyable. The group is small enough to give each of us attention but big enough for conversation. Being online is a real bonus too.

Fantastic experience: I am really enjoying my learning journey with French a la Carte MK. The teachers, Cecile and Katia are fun and friendly and the virtual group lessons are great. I like how there is a mixture of listening, reading, writing and speaking and it's all done in a fun way, with lots of games and chatting. It is a big change from my French lessons at school where I was afraid to speak! I am really looking forward to my upcoming trip to Paris with the group when I can put my skills to use.

Fantastic experience: I am relatively new to French A La Carte but already I'm loving it. Like many, I have experimented with podcasts, apps etc. without much success. But within a few weeks, Cécile's enthusiasm and inventiveness is already helping to transform my French. I was concerned about signing up for a regular class every week but now i find myself actively looking forward to my Tuesday mornings. And doing my homework!

Fantastic experience: I really enjoy my sessions with Cécile. She is engaging, relaxed and is really keen to see her students progress. The lessons are mix of conversations, exercises and videos. My lessons are at a time which suits me and Zoom has worked so well for us that we carried on in this way after the pandemic restrictions were lifted. I am looking forward to resuming my lessons next week.

She was so happy and us too!
