Fantastic experience: Really love my Saturday morning Spanish classes at the Instituto Cervantes. Classes are really focussed, the teaching is great , there's a feeling of learning a lot but at the same time having so much fun...looking forward to continuing in the Autumn!

Fantastic experience: Since joining the Instituto Cervantes, my Spanish has improved so much. The classes are small and personal and my teacher has been amazing. She always makes the lessons fun and welcoming and creates a culture where we can learn from each other. I have also learnt a lot about the Spanish and Latino culture which has also helped me take my Spanish to the next level. The Spanish that has been taught has not just been formal/standard, we have looked a lot into the colloquial language that can be used to when speaking Spanish to sound more natural. I think that for the amount of teaching, support and additional perks (such as access to their in-person and online library) the price cannot be beaten and I would encourage anyone to take the jump and join.

Fantastic experience: I have been learning Spanish online with the Instituto Cervantes for two years now, and am loving every minute of it. The teachers are brilliant, and I have made good friends with fellow students along the way. I am already at a level where I enjoy reading Spanish newspapers and magazines, and have a good level of conversational Spanish. Complete fluency is my final dream, and I relish the challenge. If you can't find a native speaker of Spanish teaching near you, this is definitely the best way to learn.

Fantastic experience: I love the on-line courses. They are ideal if you aren't able to attend a regular face-to-face class. There is plenty of opportunity to interact & practice speaking Spanish with different class members in small break-out groups as well as in the main class. The teachers are native Spanish speakers and the class is conducted in Spanish using the AULA workbooks.

Fantastic experience: I can heartily recommend learning Spanish at the Cervantes Institute in Leeds. I have been involved in zoom lessons for the last two years and have been taught by a number of different teachers. The lessons are varied and informative and you are encouraged to ask questions if you have a problem. The teachers are enthusiastic, patient and skilled in communicating the essentials of the language. I am gradually becoming more confident in using my Spanish and look forward to continuing my learning journey.

Fantastic experience: I'm learning Spanish via the Instituto Cernvantes. I've just started out and what I like about it is that we're using Spanish to learn Spanish, rather than using English to learn Spanish. I'm at level 1 so it's all new but the teacher is really enthusiastic and dynamic so it genuienly feels like an enjoyable experience rather than school. It is challenging, but I find learning anything a bit of a challenge. I also like it's classroom based so I'm actually meeting other people IRL which makes makes for a much better experience as they're all really nice and motivated as well (I think there are on-line options available as well). It's not the cheapest way to learn either, but if you want to properly make progress and not just try and to app it, then I thoroughly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Best Spanish course in Leeds! I started studying Spanish from scratch here and have completed several levels now with different teachers. All teachers are native speakers and are all amazing at their jobs! The whole staff at the institute is very friendly, creating a very welcoming atmosphere. Not to mention that alongside learning Spanish in a fun environment, I have made new friends from these classes. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: I have now done two Spanish courses through Instituto Cervantes with two different tutors. Each class has taken place online, and has lasted 2.5 hours per week. I think that the courses are excellent value for money. I have learnt more than I ever could have expected, and would thoroughly recommend Instituto Cervantes to anyone who wants to improve their Spanish or learn a new language.

Fantastic experience: I have now completed all 5 elementary courses online. I had the same teacher for all of these courses and she was excellent; I could not fault her teaching style in the slightest. She created a relaxed, friendly environment in which every student felt comfortable enough to participate. She started every class by asking us how we were doing ("¿Qué tal?") and by making general day-to-day conversation in Spanish. She organised games and quizzes, which made the classes fun and interactive. She sent us links to Spanish songs and also chapters from a Spanish book. She re-visited previous topics to allow plenty of revision of the material. She took a genuine interest in the progression of every one of her students and it was clear that she loved her job. The number of students on each course was around 6 to 9, which was a really nice number. In each online class, there was a main room where the teaching was given, and then smaller "Breakout Rooms" of 2 to 3 people where the exercises were carried out. I thought this system worked really well. The courses were all very well-paced and at just the right level. Homework was set each week, but this never took more than a few hours to complete. The courses were excellent value for money too, given their duration and the quality of tuition received. Furthermore, I have been able to take the DELE exams at the institute (completely optional) and at a reduced price as one of their students. Their library has provided me with plenty of great resources to help prepare for these exams too. I will definitely be continuing onto the intermediate courses with Instituto Cervantes Leeds. ¡Me encanta!

Fantastic experience: I wish I knew about this place earlier when I was looking for Spanish tuition. I have been given an absolute star of a teacher who knows how to keep students engaged. The knowledge and teaching style is the reason I have picked up the language fairly quickly. I would recommend ‘Instituto Cervantes’ highly to any person wanting to learn the language in a perfect environment. Muy bueno!!

Fantastic experience: Great place to learn Spanish. Have had two different teachers and both have been so enthusiastic and engaging. All the staff are really friendly and helpful. The class sizes aren't too big, and there is an excellent library full of resources, and notices for cultural activities (films/poetry event etc). Plus the price is good! Really exceptional! Can't recommend it enough.
