Fantastic experience: My name is Tetiana, I brought students from Ukraine for 2 weeks , it was unforgettable experience. The teachers and staff are highly qualified. Lessons are interesting and funny. Polina and Elizabeth are very supportive and Kevin is as well. The place is very quiet and comfortable and the food is very delicious. Thank you all the staff for this time!

Positive experience: I am Magda Salamanca, this fall I was accompanying the immersion group of the San José school, HFMMA in Bogotá, Colombia and it was a pleasant experience, the children grew in their communication skills in English, the teachers and local people were very attentive and the stay was comfortable.

Fantastic experience: My name is Lucy Maldonado, I am from Colombia . I was three weeks in Twin English with my students of 9 and 10 grade of Colegio Campestre San Jose from Bogotá. Our experience was. Guys enjoyed the English classes because they were fun and interactive, They learned new vocabulary and practiced speaking more confidently.They learned too many thinks about British culture. We visited different places next to Eastbourne and enjoyed a lot. The classes in the school were very good and interesting. I felt my students happy and comfortable during the lessons. They did some fun activities and vocabulary games that helped them to learn new words. The teachers are very kind and explain everything with patience.

Fantastic experience: I'm Adalberto Rico. I was here for three weeks with my students from Barranquilla, Colombia. Starting for the place, they have this amazing, enourmus house that once belonged to royal families. The experience was spectacular. They have good Enhlish, native teachers, with a lot of experience and with everything any students need to improve their English skills. Every day students have the chance to learn something related to English culture and lifen in the UK. You have a lot of food to eat at meal time, you only need to be careful with some spicy dishes or you can suggest to have little of it. Oh! The weather is something to take into account, but you can easily get used to it.

Negative experience: They're scammers. They charged me double for an English course and they don't want to give me my money back. Disgraceful.

Positive experience: We accompanied a group of students aged 12 to 14 on a weeklong study trip to this college. The building, a listed building dating back to the 16th century, retains many of its original structure and beauty. The lush park surrounding the college welcomes visitors with its small fauna, including squirrels and hares. It also features soccer, tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts, where the students enjoyed a pleasant time. Regarding lessons (a 15-hour package), the students were divided into groups of approximately 12-14 students based on their level. They completed a project to create a newspaper using information gleaned from interviews with school staff or by including interesting facts about food, weather, activities, and upcoming cultural visits. The evening activities were varied, from sports to talent shows to disco night, with a DJ set coordinated by the kids themselves, who had a great time. The trips were very interesting, including a full day dedicated to London, a visit to Brighton with its bustling city center, its fun pier and its seagulls, the history-rich Lewes Castle, and of course the touristic town of Eastbourne, a summer resort with its beaches and iconic pier. The weather was good and the temperatures were perfect, except for a few rain showers that forced us to cancel our trek to Beachy Head. I had the opportunity to meet Polina, the director. The students were a bit afraid of her, fearing being scolded for something they'd done outside the rules. Rightly so, her role requires a certain severity to ensure everything runs smoothly, from organizing the educational department to the various services and activities, to ensuring the residents respect the rules, including the sore point...lights-out times...so-called "bedtime," which we never managed to stick to... Despite this, I can say that she was also a very friendly and helpful person. The rooms, classrooms, and common areas were thoroughly cleaned. The cleaning ladies diligently completed these tasks every day. Annie was also very friendly. The activity leaders who took care of us this week were divided into shifts, from Hannah, attentive and smiling, to Amber, practical and helpful; Eddie, Quinn, and Adam took turns on field trips and college sports activities. If we can offer any suggestions for improving the service, it would be appreciated if the activity leaders involved in excursions and trips had a deeper knowledge of the places to visit, so they could be competent guides and contribute touristic, historical, and cultural descriptions of the places and monuments visited. As for the food, unfortunately and fortunately, we come from a country with a high culinary culture... However, we really enjoyed the abundant and varied breakfast. Several lunches and dinners weren't too bad either. The risotto, actually, wasn't good at all, and the chicken curry sandwiches weren't particularly popular either. For hygiene reasons, it's highly recommended that kitchen staff wear caps and gloves. Also, paying more attention to washing glasses and dishes. The overall experience was very nice and I would recommend it for sure.

Fantastic experience: my name is Abdulaziz and I am from Saudi Arabia , I have been studying here English for 10 weeks , I suggest anyone to learn and improve his English , just come to Twin Eastbourne. The teachers especially Robert and Caludia are very good and the lesson are so exciting and their is great variety. And the Director of studies Polina was always listening to us and she is good in her job. I will come the next year and bring my little brother to study here.

Fantastic experience: The school is separated from the hustle and bustle of the city. I was here with the whole family and we were quite satisfied with everything. The school also offers lunch for their visitors/students, which is very comfortable if you want to concentrate on your learning progress.

Fantastic experience: Everything was absolutely brilliant the staff, the lessons, and the school itself, which was a very spacious and welcoming place. There was a huge green area where we could play and have fun. The activities were really creative, like the trashion show and the escape room. The food was incredible, very varied and suited to everyone’s tastes, as it was buffet-style. The rooms were super comfortable, and sharing a room with others helped me learn about different cultures and make new friends, one of the most valuable things this experience with Twiin has given me. The excursions were also great fun, with a group leader who guided us and shared the stories behind the cities and places we visited. I got to see so many places and learn about so many cultures. Overall, it was a wonderful experience one I’d definitely love to repeat.

Fantastic experience: Everything is cared for beautifully, the staff are all very nice and friendly. I have to say that one of the things I appreciated the most is the Female Staff Bathroom. Another important thing to say is that the General Manager as well as the Operations Manager , the Director of Studies were all available to listen to our queries and find solutions for everyone to get the best from our stay here at Twin College . We felt that each of our students were cared for as well as looked after very well. Another thing that needs to be mentioned is the high quality of the food! Not only all the canteen team were nice but the quality of what the prepared was extreme good as well as healthy. Not too many chips, nor greasy dishes. Also breakfast is rich in different things… loads of crispy bacon, cereals, fruit juice, croissants !!!

Positive experience: We were here with 48 students. We had a very nice stay here in Eastbourne. The building is very old and may needs a bit of repairing but it is still amazing, and the atmosphere is wonderfully. The staff is very polite and cares for our well-being. The food didn't alway fit the student's taste but generell it was ok. The lessons were all right, even though for some students a bit too easy. The trips to London, Hastings and The Seven Sisters were good organized. We will come again.

They have high language learning skills and they have ways to learn the language in a beautiful way so that they memorise information The institute is located in a quiet and beautiful city, and there are a number of different nationalities, which helps to learn the language I advise all students who wish to learn the language to join this institute

Fantastic experience: Muy cómodo el lugar, tranquilo y amplio. Mejoraría la experiencia en los viajes, que fuesen mas práctico, para poder aprovecharlos al máximo.

Negative experience: It is the worst institute I have ever dealt with. The management is rude and there are no families. When you discuss things with the management, they do not respond to you and say they do not want to hear you, knowing that 90% of the students are Saudis. They don't keep their promises to me, and they don't abide by the contract between you and them.

Positive experience: LOVE IT . Stuff is nice.Rooms are so so.The food is so so too but really good experience. Thats why i give 4 stars<333

Fantastic experience: Nosso grupo que ficou na Twin em Eastbourne JAN 2024 foi muito bem cuidado pela equipe da Twin local. Sempre que tinha algum problema ou solicitação do Grupo, todos da Twin foram super atenciosos e buscaram sempre a melhor solução. Os alunos também amaram os professores e aulas de inglês, e claro, amaram os passeios e o Activity Leader que estava acompanhando o grupo nas excursões.

Positive experience: look, i loved the place and the experience, but you kinda have to turn a blind eye towards the general cleanliness of the place. some cups were dirty, the trays were always wet... the breakfast was always good, but for dinner things started to go down, but i guess it's just how british food works. i loved the staff, especially the activity leaders. overall nice, just very weird cleaning and timetable respect.

Negative experience: Všude plíseň špína zima jídlo nic moc každé ráno stejné snídaně První den když jsme tam přijeli ubytovali nás v malinké pokoji kde nás mělo být 8 jednu noc jsme tam přežili ale pak nás museli přemísti mimo halu do další budovy ta byla sice čistá a netopilo se tam takže tam byla přez noc zima. Ve sprchách byla plíseň museli jsme se sprchovat v pantoflích. Wi-Fi skoro nikde nefungovala. Skoro všude se loupal strop. Učebny byli cítit zatuchlinou. Některé záchody nejdou splachovat. Voda byla cítit vodním kamenem. Hnus uže bych se tam nikdy nevrátil.

Fantastic experience: انا درست في بريطانيا قبل 30 سنة ولكن في غير هذه المدينة وهذه المدرسة والان احضرت ابني وعمره 16 سنة و9 أشهر وهو اول مرة يدرس في بريطانيا واتمنى أن يخوض ابني التجربة في دراسة اللغة في هذه المدرسة وان يجد المثالية في التعليم والراحة النفسية مع زملائه ومدرسينه والمدرسة بشكل عام، كما اتمنى ايضاً ان يجد راحته في السكن مع العائلة من تعامل العائلة وسرير نظيف وغرفة بصفة عامة نظيفة ومريحة كما كنت انا ادرس عندما جيت لأول مرة في حياتي. حيث كانت المدرسة والعائلة من اروع مارأيت خارج بلدي ومازلت على علاقة مع تلك العائلة حتى يومنا هذا ولكن اصبحت الان العائلة لا تستقبل طلبة يدرسون اللغة الانجليزية لذلك اخترت هذه المدرسة. وبعد تجربة ابني سأكتب الملاحظات بكل شفافية وصدق وأمانة، وأرى ان كنت سأرسله يدرس اللغة في الأعوام القامة ام لا.

Negative experience: Stayed here during a school trip to the UK and it was terrible.. The building is in a terrible state NO ACTIVITY OR WI-FI AFTER 21:30 ... Boys can't visit the girl part of the building and vice-versa. Any comment can be taken as a "hate crime" and will get the police called.. You can't even chew gum anywhere in the property.. This place is like an orwellian dystopia, but maybe thats just a UK thing, western civilization is done

Negative experience: IT WAS TORTURE. Seagulls wake you up at 4 am, they eat your lunch, the food is disgusting. 70% of the trays and 90% of the cups are still dirty! Some windows can’t close. You are fined for EVERYTHING! I get that you shouldn’t flush tampons in the toilet, but 50£?! Something was even 500£. Water was dripping from my friend’s ceiling and they did nothing. The first week I was there ( mind you I’m b2/c1) they put me in a group of beginners and I learned nothing. The place has very poor hygiene and is very disorganised. Please don’t waste your time and money.

Negative experience: Liebes twin team, Für mich waren diese zwei Wochen eher ein survival camp als eine sprachreise. Es tropfte Wasser aus der Decke, Schimmel ist aus den Wänden entsprungen genauso wie aus den Duschen. Die Duschen sind so eng dass man drin Platzangst bekommt, außerdem haben die Duschen nur getropft. Das essen war absolut wiederlich und viele aus unserer Gruppe haben sich deswegen übergeben, geht lieber zu Tesco. Die Organisation war genauso baufällig wie das Gebäude die Ausflüge sind teilweise ausgefallen wegen Personalmangel oder man musste zwei Stunden warten weil die Aktivitäten nicht gebucht wurden. Wir hatten außerdem sehr wenig Freizeit für dich selbst weil der Tag sehr getankter ist mit Aktivitäten. Der Unterricht ist absolut unnötig wir haben hier nichts dazugelernt, weil man die Hälfte der Zeit nur spiele spielt und die Lehrer sind einigermaßen nett aber manche sind so alt sie können nicht mal bis zur Tafel laufen und reden dann lieber über Schwarzwälderkirchtorte. Der eine Stern ist für das nette Personal und für die Freunde die wir dort kennengelernt haben. Also zusammengefasst würden wir sagen geht lieber in ein surfcamp oder bleibt ganz Zuhause. LG

Fantastic experience: I had an absolutely amazing time and learned so much! The school has a fascinating history and is set in wonderful grounds. The local area is also packed with things to do, the beach and the seven skaters cliff walk were my favourite. I would recommend Twin to anybody thinking of learning English.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful building, excellent school

Negative experience: Unreal dirt in the corridors, in the toilets, in the courtyard, in the dining room people eat from dirty trays with dirty cutlery, drink from dirty cups. CHILDREN are not taught by people with a pedagogical education. It is not acceptable for a "lecturer" to yell at a child to shut up. It is not acceptable if the CHILD asks to repeat the sentence because he did not understand or the lecturer spoke too fast, he was rejected by the lecturer. This behavior is very unprofessional and demotivating. Dividing students into large groups with a large age range is ineffective for studying younger students. The activities in the afternoon program did not match the schedule we received in the documentation. There was no post-course review to see if the student had improved. The organization of the school is very confused. The managers sitting in the main lobby are arrogant, unwelcoming, condescending and obnoxious. We received the information the day before departure and it did not contain complete information, for example about accommodation, what the family expected. So when you come to the family, you find that even if you are an escort, you cannot spend time in the family according to your needs. You will definitely not get quality services and teaching in this school that would match the amount paid.

Negative experience: Stará a špinavá škola, nepitná voda, špinavé nádobí, lehká výuka, škola velice neorganizovaná, 8-12 děti na pokoji, protékající strop, nudné aktivity, prakticky bez wifi a signálu, nefunkční záchody a sprchy, špatné jídlo

Negative experience: It was a disaster because everything was old and nasty needs modernization and better food and bathrooms, the showers were hotter than a sauna please I recommend not go to there.

Negative experience: I have just returned from a study holiday with my students. The place is fantastic and has high potential but it is very neglected: really dirty rooms, very dirty kitchen. Bad food, the canteen staff are guys who work listlessly. The rooms are not cleaned, they only empty the bins. The bathrooms are insufficient for the number of rooms and are cleaned once a day. Poor hygiene due to the high number of guests. Huge untapped potential.

Negative experience: This school isn't keeping it's promises. We saw the school on the website and thought we will go to a nice school in a beautiful old building. But what you get is very disappointing. The school is so unorganized (we got our time table on the third day) and messy. The classrooms and the whole building looks like it would fall appart at any time. The gym hall is a small room with nothing in it and the toilets are very dirty. We made a test before we got there but the level of our class was just not suitable for us. It was a joke for us. The activities outside of school were very boring and not worth it. The food wasn't bad and the teachers were gentle too but the rest was just horrible. Don't waste your money for this school, you will be disappointed!

Positive experience: We arrived at the school, and we went to have our first dinner. The cups were pretty dirty, we didn't get knives. We had potatoes and meat for dinner. The potatoes were like the average school canteen and the meat was very dry. Then we were assigned rooms which were in another building. It looked good in the pictures, but the reality was different. They had to edit the photos a lot or take it when it was brand new. Some of the toilets weren't working, when you want to flush you have to push the lever hard and many times it doesn't work the first time. Some of the showers didn't have a light. But most of the showers and toilets were working. The next day we went for breakfast, it was. Knives and spoons were gone, plates weren't washed. Then it was time to study. We split up into several groups. We had to write on paper who we were, where we were from and describe what we were like. Then there was a break and then 2nd lesson where we wrote something about the sights in London on a worksheet. Next we played a game where one person drew something and the others had to guess what it was. Then there was another break and we changed teachers. The other teacher talked to us about history and talked to us about England. Then without a break, the 1st teacher came back to us and we presented what we had created earlier. Lunch followed where there was an endless line. I was lucky to be among the first. Lunch was spaghetti with chunks of meat and a baguette. It was pretty good this time, but it would have been better in our school cafeteria. We were followed by a trip to some town. But that was only because we got it paid for through someone else. Normally you could play games in the beautiful park, or maybe go for a walk in Eastbourne. We had risotto and meat for dinner. Then we went out, some of us met other pupils. On day 3 we had breakfast followed by waffles and chocolate. Our class agreed to come later so we wouldn't have to wait in line. We were allowed to have waffles and chocolate for breakfast, there was no chocolate left for us because some Spaniards took it as a drink. There were no waffles left for the last 10 people. Next we had a class where we practiced our times, it wasn't much fun. The second hour he asked us what we wanted to do because he saw we weren't enjoying it. We played some games he had prepared. The third hour we talked about something. A burger and fries was lunch. Dinner was lasagna and meat. I didn't really like the meat. In the evening we went out again to play games with our classmates. On the 4th day we had toast, egg and something other than meat like cutlets for breakfast. Again we had our first class where we talked about something. The second hour we had to prepare information about the topic we would be discussing in the 4th hour. The third hour we gave a report that we had prepared and the last hour we asked the teacher to go outside and there we talked about the topics. For lunch there was pizza, it looked like a piece of some toasted bread with some sauce on it and baked in the oven. For dinner we had a tortilla with rice and meat. The next day we had to leave early in the morning, so they prepared breakfast for us in paper bags. It was a not-so-good burger, water, orange/banana and small chips. Then we left for home. My overall feeling: Beautiful garden, not very good rooms and food. I give three stars.

Negative experience: posto osceno il personale sembra down cibo schifoso i professori sembrano psicopatici poi ci vuole quanto cristo a arrivare fino all’entrata piove sempre quindi i così pe fa sport non servono a niente sono organizzati malissimo e le lezioni non servono a niente le camere sono sporchissime i bagni non ne parliamo neanche il cibo è scaduto e inoltre l’acqua fa schifo non lavano bene i piatti e neanche i bicchieri rimangano sempre macchie di cibo poi ci sono le macchinette che funzionano a malapena la palestra e minuscola inoltre c’è una finestra rotta e all’arrivo vi diranno che dovete paga 300 pounds se la rompete diocacca

Fantastic experience: Lovely school

Negative experience: I stayed here for 3 weeks. First of all if you have friends here than you are going to enjoy your 'holiday', but if you dont have then you cant really do anything. The programmes are the same every week and if you go to the trip you probably will only have free time even if your parents didn't let you to be alone, tha staff won't care. The trips are very long and you dont really do anything special, in london you will only see the buckingham palace, and a park. the food isn't that bad what everyone says, but sometimes it is cold. I was playing volleyball for the entire 3 weeks

Fantastic experience: The staff were friendly and the foreign exchange students were enjoying their stay, overall a good atmosphere and friendly welcome.

Negative experience: Chambres sales, accueil mal organisé nourriture passable mais tout est fait pour dégoûter l'endroit. Les douches ressemblaient à celles du goulag ! Je suis en ce moment en séjour linguistique et je suis très déçu !

Positive experience: The internet connection is not good, the squirrels enter through the windows and the rooms are small and dirty. The structure is really beautiful and the lessons are not boring and fluent. 3 stars.

Negative experience: Ci sono stata una settimana e dalle foto sembra fantastico ma nella realtà le camere sono sporche e troppo piccole per tante persone, e il cibo è fatto davvero con poca cura.

Fantastic experience: Byl jsem tam na dva týdny. Bylo to perfektní. Skvělí lidé, dobré jídlo, kvalitní výuka. Výuka probíhala nenuceně tak, že ani nepoznáte, že se učíte a co je na tom nejlepší, že všemu rozumíte, protože výklad je srozumitelný. To co jste nepochopili za roky studia doma, pochopíte za týden.
