Located in the heart of Norwich, Norwich Study Centre, Flying Classrooms is the perfect place for adult learners and young students to improve their English skills. We offer a diverse range of courses including General English, IELTS and Cambridge Exam preparation, professional development, teacher training, and much more.
Class sizes are intentionally kept small, averaging 6 to 8 students and a maximum of 14, allowing our dedicated instructors to provide tailored support that meets each student’s individual needs. In the summer, we also host English + Activity programs for young learners aged 11 to 17, adding a fun-filled dimension to their language education.
We are deeply committed to helping our students build confidence in their ability to communicate effectively in English, using a practical approach aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Furthermore, Norwich, recognized as the first UNESCO City of Literature in England, presents a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere that enriches the learning experience.

3 years ago Fantastic experience: Nice school, located very close to the marketplace so you can have different lunch options, the staff, and the teachers are friendly and very kind. In general, the programs are accurate and precise, they really know how to teach and so you really feel that your English is improving dramatically. I wholeheartedly recommend Flying Classrooms.
3 years ago Fantastic experience: I find my experience at Norwich Study Centre very productive and worthwhile. The Teacher Training course I have quite recently participated in is quite contentful and well-structured, with different activities being involved. It has extended my knowledge in methodology of teaching English and crystalised my previous understanding of different aspects of teaching English. The trainers are professional and helpful in different respects. Now, I have started to utilize the newly-gained knowledge and experience at my home university in Armenia. I would strongly recommend other teachers to participate in Teacher Training course here.

Also school staff were very friendly and kind, so I was very comfortable. This school is a great place to improve your English and I want to recommend here to everyone. 5 years ago Fantastic experience: I stayed here for only three weeks but it was an unforgettable experience because I met different people from other countries and discovered so many new things. The teachers I had were so nice and entertaining that I didn't want to leave the classroom. Another good point is that there is coffe and tea available in break time, as well as wifi, which was very convenient for me since my internet didn't really work abroad. I recommend it to everyone who wants to get better at English and have a wonderful time

In my experience I think the flying is a good choice to LearnEnglish, because there is a really good teachers and a really good staff to help you with any thing you need too. Also the atmosphere is really good the people there so friendly and helpful so you’ll LearnEnglish and having fun at the same time .

I’ve never thought that I would be so attached to THE school, to THE staff, to THE teachers and to Norwich in general! I hadn’t been there for 6 years but I came back home and felt this amazing atmosphere of friendly, kind, helpful people speaking English! Enormous ‘thank you’ to THE teachers who I can inhale the new dress air of English with, the absolutely amazing and gorgeous staff who help with all the unknown questions. This school should be known all over the world! And believe me when you are there you won’t want to leave, ever!
6 years ago Fantastic experience: We have had the pleasure to organise a 3 week stay for two summers, one in 2017 and the most recent 2019. Our teenagers had an unforgettable experience with the Flying Classrooms school of English. They offer an amazing programme full of support and professionalism. The staff members are very friendly, welcoming and on the ball. They always think outside the box and go the extra mile to make your stay as perfect as possible. I would highly recommend them to any international student willing to make the most of their stay and improving their English. We will definitely keep working with them and we can´t wait for the following summer!
