Fantastic experience: I was here for three weeks, and during this time I was able to improve my English and gain a great experience. Everyone at the school was incredibly nice and helpful, and the atmosphere felt very warm and welcoming. I genuinely enjoyed going to school every day. My stay in Manchester was truly fantastic. The school had a friendly, almost family-like vibe, which made it easy to feel comfortable from the very first day. I joined the Essential English Centre for four weeks and I had a wonderful experience that I would love to share with you .The teachers and staff are always kind, flexible, and very supportive. What really impressed me is how well they listen to each student’s needs. After just one week of attendance, they gave me a feedback form to fill in. I thought it was only a simple form, but they took it very seriously — the manager even invited me for a short meeting to discuss my feedback, what could be improved, and what was going well. That made me feel truly heard and respected. Another thing I really appreciate is their flexibility. When I had an unexpected commitment in the middle of my course, they kindly allowed me to pause my studies for two weeks and continue later without losing my lessons. They always tried to find the best solution for me, Mrs. Ania and Gary who were incredibly understanding and made sure everything was arranged perfectly. Fantastic experience: I chose this language school because it is officially certified for Bildungsurlaub (educational leave) in Germany. As Bildungsurlaub can be quite bureaucratic, I was very glad that the school handled all the paperwork and organisation perfectly. Overall, the organization was excellent! Whenever I had questions or something was unclear, I received quick and friendly support. All staff members made a real effort to meet students at their individual language level and help them progress. The school itself is fairly small, which I found very pleasant. Many students stay for several months, while others attend for just a few weeks. The location is very central and easy to reach (by train, bus, or tram), and there are great libraries nearby that are perfect for studying. During my stay, there were three active classes at levels A1, A2–B1, and B2 (partly up to C1). There wasn’t a dedicated C1/C2 class, but there are special courses that prepare students for certificates like IELTS. What I especially liked was that, depending on the topic, you could always ask the teachers for extra exercises or materials. Of course, the quality of the lessons depends on the individual teacher, but I was lucky to work with very motivated instructors – at times I was genuinely impressed by their teaching skills.

Negative experience: I do not recommend coming to him at all. Their only goal is financial compensation, and they do not care about the students’ academic achievement. We asked the principal to change the teacher due to a lack of understanding and her inability to convey the information appropriately, and for a month she did not respond to us.

I took the ielts exam courses and I got the score I wanted thanks to the quality of the teaching. I'm happy with the chosen school. All the people are very nice, kind and VERY friendly! The teachers are professional, the girls from the reception are amazing! After class The girls are organizing fantastic events, movies , conversations on the city over coffee, trips to the museum, city tour.. And many interesting thinks . Fantastic experience: The Essential English Centre is a fantastic school which provides students all tools to improve their english level. I have been there for 5 months with my fiance, and we started with a low english level (even asking a bus ticket on the bus was challenging). Thanks to a friendly and supportive staff we have been able to reach a a good english knowledge, helpful to get our job positions here in England. In addition, its central position and the amenieties of the school assist you to make comfortable your permanence in Manchester. Infact, every months the teachers organise a variety of activities so that all the students can make friends and improve their speaking skills. Manchester it is a valuable option with respect to London in terms of houses rent and outgoings. I will definetely advise The Essential English Centre to everyone!
