Negative experience: Eğer paranızın ve zamanınızın boşa gitmesini istiyorsanız, harika bir seçim. 20 yıl önce giden insanların yorumlarına dayanarak bu okulu tercih ettim ama tam bir hüsrandı. İnsan bir yılda bile değişirken, ben nasıl oldu da 20 yıl önceki deneyimlere güvenip böyle bir karar verdim, hâlâ aklım almıyor. Her dakika öğretmenler değişiyor, bir öncekiyle bir sonraki arasında hiçbir uyum yok. Kesinlikle çok yaşlı öğretmenler var. Normalde hepimiz “yaşlı insanların deneyiminden yararlanmak harikadır” deriz ama burada bu mümkün olmuyor. Çünkü onlar, ikinci bir dil öğrenmek isteyen bir öğrencinin seviyesine uygun şekilde anlatamıyorlar. Sistem yok. Örneğin öğrenci sayısı çok az olduğunda A1 seviyesindeki sınıf sınava giriyor, A2 seviyesindeki de sınava giriyor; bir bakmışsınız iki sınıf birleşiyor ve B1 seviyesine çıkıyor. Bunu kış ayında bizzat yaşadım. İnanılmaz zordu çünkü bir dil kademe kademe öğrenilir. Bir anda üst seviyeye geçmeye hazır olmayan öğrenciler için bu durum korkunç. Bu noktada nefret ettim ve okulu bir ay dondurdum. Sonra mecburiyetten geri başladım çünkü 9 aylık kayıt yaptırmıştım. Ben tam gün paket aldım; sabah dersleriyle birlikte öğleden sonra konuşma sınıfına da giriyordum. Ama 4 ay boyunca o sınıfa sadece tek bir öğretmen girdi. Belki 5-6 gün farklı öğretmenler oldu ama sonrasında hep aynı öğretmen devam etti. Dersin işleyişi şöyleydi: Bir kâğıt dağıtılıyor, 2 saat boyunca sen kâğıda bakıyorsun, kâğıt da sana. Sonra 10 dakika cevaplama, 10 dakika bilgisayarı açmaya çalışıyor (bu arada bilgisayarlarda hiçbir problem yok, yansıtmalarda da sorun yok). Öğretmen —çok ciddiyim— istisnasız her gün aynı şeyi yaptı. Sabah derslerinde de benzer sorunlar vardı ama tabii ki her öğretmende değil. Artık buna dayanamadım ve öğleden sonraki derslerimi iptal etmek istedim. Para iadesi bile istemedim, sadece o dersleri sabah derslerime eklemelerini rica ettim. Fakat bana “para iadesi yapmıyoruz” dediler. Zaten para iadesi talebim yoktu ki, durum tamamen farklıydı. Bana geçmiş olsun… Dorota, David, Carolina… Sizi çok seviyorum. Eğer bu okulda bir şey öğrendiysem, sizin kısacık sürede dersime girdiğiniz sayenizdedir. Üçünüzü de çok seviyorum. Bir de kantinde çalışan iki beyefendi var, mükemmel kahveler yaptılar. Harika, güzel kalpli iki insandılar.

Negative experience: الإدارة سيئة ما فيه اي تعاون مع الطالب طاقم التدريس البعض جيد والبعض دمار ارجع مره ثانيه ادرس فيه لا The management is bad. There is no cooperation with the student! The teaching staff are some good and some very bad. Should I try again? I won't try again. I think there are better institutes than this and they are easy to deal with the student.

Negative experience: 사람마다 다르겠지만 나는 늦깎이 학생이였던지라 적응하는데 힘이 들었음. 괜찮은 반에서 만난 친구들과 친해졌고 선생님도 너무 잘 가르치는 선생님이 계셨는데 하루 아침에 선생 바꿔버림;;;도저히 재미도 없었고 몇번이나 컴플레인 했지만;;안되고...그리고 학교에서 정해준 홈스테이는 첨엔 남아공 남자와 동거하며 사는 브리티쉬인데 흑인 아들을 뒀었고 돈 문제로 돌보는지 아들은 맨날 소리지르고 난리...게다가 힘들다는 핑계로 1파운드 냉동피자를 자주 내줬었음 나는 그걸 식탁에 혼자 앉아 먹는 날이 많았음..일주일에 돈을 얼마나 주는데..하...굉장히 우울했었던 생활...도저히 안되서 집 바꿔달라고 했는데 전달 잘못되서 애들 둘 있는 집에 혼자 홈스테이로 들어감 할말은 많고 영어는 좀처럼 늘지않고 집에서도 학교에서도 제자리...점점 더 우울해지고 결국 원래 기간보다 덜 끝내고 짐 싸서 왔음...다시는 영국은 꼴도 보기 싫음... 2024/11/27 추가기재: 저는 1년 안이라고 기재한 적 없네요..2013년에 다녔었구요. 그리고 잘 알지도 못하면서 다른 학교라고 단정짓고 삭제를 해달라니...제 사진에 남아있는 선생님들 친구들은 다 거짓입니까??그리고 여기 후기는 1년 안에 겪은 후기만 적는 곳인가요;;;??? 당신이야말고 삭제 하셔야 할것 같네요. 수고하세요~

Positive experience: Hi, this my opinion for all the students they would like to come to Anglo, I’ve been there almost 9 months, so my experience was quite good, I’ll talk the true things, one of them about teachers are so terrible the majority of the teachers older, it is so difficult to understand thier explain , some students makes a compline of the teachers he was so rude and I said to one of the employees why you brought bad teachers he said it’s summer!!!!, so they bring any teachers and that so bad things for a students. but honestly the building are so great and massive. also they don’t change the activities for students. The reputation of the school is great , but the truth is ordinary, I’d like to say they are a few teachers are very good, in the end I hope they’ll fix these problems السلام عليكم، بعطيكم رأي خلال ٩ اشهر في انجلو ،للسعوديين اللي حابين يجون معهد انجلو الصراحه من اسوا المعاهد في بورنموث من ناحيه المدرسين مره سيئين وماخذين السمعه على الفاضي والله والله اسوا معهد على الاطلاق والفعاليات نفسها مايغيرونها ولا شي زياده على ذلك مره سألت احد الموظفين ليه تجيبون مدرسين سيئين قالي عشان الصيف وكذا يعني يجيبون اي مدرس والطلاب يتوهقون بعدين المدرسين مو تخصصهم انجليزي كل واحد دراس تخصص مختلف، والاختبارات اللي من لفل الى لفل غالبا مايغيرون الاسئلة نفسها، واذا لاحظت على نفسك ان اللفل اللي انت فيه سهل وتبي اروح لفل اعلى لازم ادفع ٦٠ باوند عشان تختبر .وهذا والله ولا شي . بس الصراحه من ناحيه المبنى شرح وحلو والصراحه فيه مدرسين مره كويسين بس ينعدون على الاصابع تقريبا ١٠ مدرسين بس.

Positive experience: Estudié allí en el año 1980, y tengo recuerdos de la excelencia y dedicación de los profesores. Además, promovieron la integración entre los alumnos; y, siendo argentino, hice amistad con griegos, franceses, alemanes y árabes. Viví en la casa de un matrimonio ya mayor que me "adoptó" afectuosamente como uno de la familia. Atesoro los buenos momentos vividos con los Brown y en el Anglo.

Fantastic experience: I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for the Raters Course which I have recently completed. Although it was not my first course with Anglo-Continental, it was, as usually, extremely efficient and informative for me as for the rater/examiner. RAT-30 course is very practice- oriented, we didn't have to spend much time on theory study as it was successfully reviewed while performing pre-course tasks. A lot of assessment/rating practice, evidence collection, discussions with colleagues and effective monitoring, managing and correction by the course instructors helped me to become more confident in my job, to answer all the professional questions which I have in my work, and to return to my everyday duties with refreshed and updated skills and knowledge. I really consider Anglo-Continental's approach to language assessment and training to be the most consistent, thorough and productive, so I highly recommend this school for aviation beginners and professionals. Also, I would like to say some words about my homestay. It is the best homestay I have ever had. Julie and Jeremy were very welcoming. In their house they created great conditions for foreign students, starting from very clean, warm, tidy and cosy house, rooms and bathrooms and finishing with tasty food and a lot of communication with us all the time, which is very helpful for language learners. They were very friendly, supportive and caring. And my bedroom was much more comfortable than in two expensive hotels where I stayed on my way to Bournemouth. Fantastic experience: Anglo was one of the greatest experiences of my life. The number of different cultures there are is impressive. My level of English was able to take it to a higher level in just 4 months. I met wonderful people who I will always carry in my memories. Maybe I won't see them again, but that part of life. People come and people from one learns a lot in addition to English. Personally, I recommend doing this type of exchange at least once in my life and if I go on an exchange again I would go to Anglo

Negative experience: المعهد من ناحية الدراسه لابأس فيه، من ناحية الفعاليات استغلال جداً يسوون لك فعالية ويخلونك تدفع على حسب الفعالية، اذا دفعت لهم السكن او دراسة او مهما كان مستحيل مستحيل مستحيل يرجعون لك باوند واحد وهذي النقطة هي اسوء نقطة تقريباً لا انصح به تماماً The institute is good in terms of studies. In terms of activities, it is very exploitative. They charge you for an event and let you pay according to the event. If you paid them for housing, education, or anything impossible, impossible, they would give you one pound back, and this point is almost the worst point. I don't recommend it at all

A escola tem uma estrutura eficiente e ao mesmo tempo, aconchegante, os professores são muito capacitados e toda equipe da escola muito atenciosa e sempre pronta a atender às necessidades dos alunos. Houve boa interação com os colegas de sala, e a diversidade cultural e de idade, só acrescentou ao aprendizado. Além do fato do Grupo 50+ ter se integrado muito bem, formando novos amigos. The course was interesting and very pleasant, in fact our teachers were very professional but friendly , sympathetic and patient . All the school staff was very helpful. Fantastic experience: Desire to study English had got me into this school, and as soon as I came in I realised that this was the place where I wanted to study. There is an educational spirit and a cosy atmosphere beautifully combined in this school. After some time, I understood I was in good hands because teachers appeared to be attentive, experienced and, what was also important, were being able to make an interesting lesson. The course was presented at the level appropriate for each student nicely, with humour, considering individual peculiarities. I was surprised that with sufficient requirements, soft management, and control of the studying process and homework our teachers made us interested and truly involved in obtaining new knowledge.

Fantastic experience: 공부하는 학교의 시설 등 환경을 중요하게 생각하는 탓에 앵글로 콘티넨탈에 오게 됐는데 역시 널찍하고 예쁜 캠퍼스가 가장 좋은 점이었어요 쉬는시간에 학교 카페에서 커피를 뽑아 산책을 하거나 뜰에서 발리볼 했던 등이 좋은 기억으로 남아있어요! 또, 다양한 국적의 친구들, 친절한 영국 스태프분들과 어울리다보니 영어 실력도 늘어가는 걸 스스로 체감할 수 있었어요! 그리고 선생님들께서 정말 가르치는 걸 사랑하시고 학생들을 아끼시는 분들이 많아서 아침 9시에 시작하는 수업도 매일매일 즐겁게 갔던 것 같아요 사실 영국에 와서 이렇게 행복한 시간을 보내게 될 줄 몰랐는데 인생 경험들을 많이 하고 갑니다! 또 오고싶어요ㅠㅠ앵글로 너무 좋아요ㅠㅠ

Fantastic experience: J'ai actuellement la chance de travailler 4 mois chez Anglo-Continental en tant que stagiaire. Je ne retire que du positif ! En prime d'avoir été chaleureusement accueillie dès mon arrivée, je suis quotidiennement épaulée dans mes tâches. J'apprends de nouvelles choses chaque jour, entourée de personnes souriantes et très agréables qui se soucient vraiment de mon bien-être et de mon apprentissage. J'ai également la chance de côtoyer les étudiants en vérifiant les présences le matin (car oui, le personnel se soucie de chaque étudiant, tout le monde a sa place et tout le monde compte, ici!), et également en passant de bons moments durant l'heure de table du midi où des membres du personnel et les étudiants jouent ensemble du ping-pong (je n'avais jamais vu ça ailleurs!) Pour finir, sachez qu'ici, beaucoup de cultures sont mélangées. Nous pouvons partager nos habitudes, du vocabulaire, etc. Le personnel est plurilingue, ce qui permet à chaque étudiant de trouver sa place et ses marques très rapidement. Alors, n'hésitez pas à rejoindre l'équipe comme je l'ai fait, ou vous inscrire pour améliorer vos connaissances anglaises et vous enrichir culturellement. Une jolie phrase que j'aime, et qui clôturera parfaitement mon avis : "Ne rêve pas ta vie, mais vis tes rêves ! " Alors si tu veux vivre une aventure en Angleterre, contacte Anglo-Continental. Tu ne le regretteras pas, promesse d'une étudiant belge partie réaliser son rêve. I currently have the opportunity to work for 4 months at Anglo-Continental as a trainee. Everything is positive here! As a bonus to have been warmly welcomed from my arrival, I am supported daily in my tasks. I learn new things every day, surrounded by smiling and very pleasant people who really care about my well-being and my learning. I also have the chance to spend time with students by checking the attendance in the morning (because yes, the staff cares about each student, everyone has their place and everyone is important here!). Also by having fun moments during lunch time when staff members and students play ping pong together (I had never seen this elsewhere!) Finally, you might know that here at Anglo-Continental many cultures are mixed. We can share our culture and vocabulary, etc. The staff are multilingual and can help students to feel comfortable. So, do not hesitate to join the team as I did, or register to improve your English skills and enrich yourself culturally. A nice phrase that I like, and that will close my opinion perfectly: "Do not dream your life, but live your dreams!" So if you want to live an experience in England, contact Anglo-Continental. You will not regret it, promise of a Belgian student who went to realize her dream.

Positive experience: I took a 3-week course at Anglo Continental when I was 15yo (back in 2012) and I can say it was a life-changing experience for me. I had the sweetest host family, awesome lessons with awesome teachers and great activities all over the period, including weekend trips to London and Brighton. My only concern is that the lunch was not the my favorite part of the day, but guess what: we had the chance to discuss this and other issues with our teachers and coordinators, and they agreed immediately! They openly accepted such delicate issue with minds totally open and I appreciate it. Thank you so much for this life-changing experience. I'll always remember everything with love and gratitude.

Fantastic experience: It's been a month since I finished my internship at Anglo-Continental and I can only recommend it to everyone. I consider the six months I worked there to be a well spent time. Time flew by quickly as I had a lot of fun. My day was packed with different tasks and lots of contact with several people, employees, students and host families, which is really great. I immersed myself completely in the English language and was able to improve my writing, listening and speaking during my work. The team is very friendly and I felt welcome from the beginning. Not only did I work at Anglo-Continental, but I also enjoyed a few hours inside the classroom every week. The course I attended was very good, thanks to the qualified teachers. The teachers react quickly to your requests, which are implemented promptly. The communication within the school is open and if you have any concerns there are many people who can help you. What I really liked about Anglo-Continental was that they offer a great range of opportunities to improve your English outside the classroom wether with their lively social activities or the study centre where a teacher is available to help you if you have any questions. At Anglo-Continental you can get the most out of a language stay.

Negative experience: Mio figlio di 15 anni ha appena trascorso due settimane a Bournemouth, vacanza studio con Anglo Continental. Bella cittadina, ottima famiglia ospitante, organizzazione ...."ni", sia per quanto riguarda le attività ricreative, assolutamente scarse e banali, che il metodo educativo/organizzativo: - lunghissima attesa per il trasporto aeroporto-famiglia-aeroporto (diversa dai termini concordati) - pessimo cibo della mensa scolastica - misure educative "sanzionatorie" rigide ed inappropriate Fatto gravissimo è che il numero telefonico d'emergenza, a disposizione 24 ore su 24 di genitori, non abbia risposto a diversi miei tentativi....

Negative experience: I studied at Anglo in 2008 for one year and it an amazing experience back then. Came this year with my brother and booked him a 6 moths course and when we arrived to the school there was the unpleasant surprises 1- My brother’s classmates were Arabic speakers part from only one girl ( pre-intermediate level) The host family was very bad and 1- on his first day at Anglo he had to find his way to school himself because the host family left for work and didn’t care about that although I asked them nicely to show my brother they way to school 2-one day he went back to his host family at 6 pm and they asked him to take a walk because they were getting ready to receive visitors 3- the family members didn’t show any welcoming to my brother and made feel unwelcomed as no one would talk to him 4- the host family was offering their house for sale and they seems unstable 5- the house was not clean and smiley when we reported these issues to the women who was working on the accommodation she was very unhappy to help and she was trying to find any reason just to keep my brother with the same host family regardless how bad they are !!!!! DID YOU FORGET THAT I PAYIED YOU GENEROUSLY TO BE HERE ? I cancelled the accommodation along with the 6 months course because the school has turned to be very materialistic and not valuing the student and treating them very bad. I had to pay £800 fee of cancelling the course and another £300 fee to cancel the host family !! What a joke Please do not study here. Go find a better school because any school will better than Anglo السعوديين أرجو منكم عدم الدراسة في هذه المدرسه الي أصبحت تكدس العرب في صفوف ولا تدمجمهم مع الأجانب وكذلك عزوف الأجانب عن الدراسه في هذه المدرسه بسبب أسعارهم المبالغ فيها تعامل المدرسه سيئ جدا ولا يهتمون بالطلاب و العوائل التي عن طريق هذه المدرسه سيئه جدا جدا عن تجربه مريره لأخي

Fantastic experience: I just finished a 7 week placement/internship at Anglo-Continental and I've loved working here. Everyone was very welcoming, friendly and enthusiastic about the work they did and also about showing me the ropes. Would definitely recommend the school for learning and working in the future!

Positive experience: درست فيه عام 2014 لمدة ثلاث اشهر .. وكان جيد ومساحة المدرسة كبيرة مقارنة بباقي المدارس .. ولكن يغلبه عرب وهو شي طبيعي في جميع مدارس اللغة بالعالم .. الاستقبال جدا متعاونين .. انصح به ولكن شوي غالي

Negative experience: Mi experiencia no fue la esperada. Me alojé en una vivienda Ejecutiva que es mas costosa porque se supone es de mas categoría y es bien cerca de la escuela. Aboné todo por adelantado, y la idea era que, tuviera contacto diario con la familia y compartiera las vivencias y costumbres de una familia Inglesa. Cuando hice la reserva me especificaron: familia compuesta por dos personas de 65 años con un perro y un gato. A los 4 días de arribar: se instaló en la casa la hija con dos niños. Además tanto el desayuno como la cena era en solitario, salvo algunas ocasiones donde cenaba el séñor de la casa. La señora nunca compartió cena conmigo. En los 10 días que permanecí en la vivienda: no tuve practicamente contacto con la familia y un día por cuestiones de horarios arribé 20 minutos tarde a la cena y la dueña literalmente me trato de la peor manera. Ello motivó que, solicitara cambio de alojamiento y me destinaron a una verdadera pocilga: un albergue para estudiantes donde era imposible vivir por el deplorable estado del albergue, la mugre y los olores. Indigno para vivir para una persona normal. Finalmente opté por abandonar los estudios al no contar con un alojamiento adecuado y acorde a lo que yo había abonado ( 251 libras semanales). La escuela no pudo resolver mi problema de alojamiento. Previo a alojarme en una casa de familia, estuve 3 días en el Hotel San Simeón (a 2 cuadras de la escuela) que os recomiento en todo sentido. Los dueños son gente estupenda, que me hicieron sentir feliz los 3 días que me alojé en el citado Hotel. Lamento no haber permanecido en el San Simeon Hotel. Muy recomendable. Sugiero y recomiendo prestar mucha atención y tener mucha precaución a la hora de alojarse en una familia. Muchas solo se limitan a cobrar su renta y poco les interesa el estudiante. Quizás lo ideal sea un Flat (departamento) pero la idea (en mi caso) era compartir las vivencias con una familia Inglesa y practicar el idioma. Fui literalmente ignorado durante mi estadía y mi experiencia no fue la mejor. Los profesores son muy amables y el Multimedia center es de suma utilidad para estudiar y mejorar. Aboné 5 semanas de curso por adelantado (1.300 libras) y al dejar el curso no reintegraron las 3 semanas que pagué por adelantado, aclarando que, la escuela se encargaba de mi alojamiento y no me lo resolvió almomento que decidí dejar la vivienda donde me alojaba. Me hubiera gustado poder seguir estudiando, pero al ser temporada alta y no conseguir un alojamiento adecuado, decidí marcharme. El grupo de estudiantes ( muchos de origen saudita) fue muy bueno y mantuve una excelente relación con todos ellos. Esa fue mi experiencia. Esperaba otro gesto de las autoridades que nunca se comunicaron conmigo, pero no dejó de ser una experiencia de vida. Saludos
