Fantastic experience: The best practical, concrete and Amazing experience to improve your English.

Negative experience: Hello, I studied at this institute in 2024 for one year. Overall, the institute is okay and good. I would like to thank my teachers: Matt, Emma, Adam, and Susanna. However, I want to share my bad experience with the host family during my first month. From the beginning, I kept going to Arti and telling her that I wanted to change the host family. Every time she said “okay,” but nothing changed until I completed a full month with the host family, whose name was Sally Hamilton. I do not recommend staying with her. I don’t know where to start. I was not allowed to use basic things such as the kettle, toaster, or microwave. For an entire month, my breakfast was only toast or a bagel, sometimes with butter and sometimes with jam. She prepared tea for me, but she made breakfast very early and left it on the table, so when I woke up it was always cold. Because of this, I avoided eating it and went shopping to buy my own kettle and snacks, which I kept in my room. Dinner was also very bad. The food she gave me was something I would not even give to an animal, and I was not allowed to heat it. I constantly heard her and her daughter screaming at each other, and her daughter using bad language. I stayed silent and never said anything. However, when I talked to my family on my phone, she would message me saying that I was disturbing them. One time, at 11 p.m., I wanted to sleep, but she was playing loud music. When I told her that I needed to sleep, she said that I was the one disturbing them when I talked on the phone. The bedroom was very small, and in one corner there was a shower and a sink. There was also a small fridge in the room that I was not allowed to use. Unfortunately, the institute does not properly monitor some host families and does not cooperate well with students in this matter. On the last day, after a whole month of trying to speak with Arti about changing the host family, Sally told them that I had to leave in the morning. I came to the institute with all my luggage because the second host family would be available at 5 p.m. When I spoke with the second host family, Leesa, she told me that the room in her house was already empty and available. I don’t know whether the mistake was from Arti or someone else, but this situation was very frustrating because they kept saying they were looking for a family while Leesa already had an empty room. This is all I remember at the moment. The second host family, Leesa, was very wonderful, and I still keep in touch with her from time to time.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience at Bayswater College in Bournemouth. My teachers were good and funny people, and the classes were very enjoyable. I studied there for five months and three weeks, and during that time I was able to experience summer, autumn, and a little part of winter, which was amazing. I learned many new things, both academically and personally. I met people from other countries and learned about cultures that are very different from mine, which was really interesting. This experience helped me grow as a person and become more open-minded. I also made great progress in my English. On my first day in England, I couldn’t understand anything, and I was afraid of talking to people. However, I learned that the best option is just to do it: talk, be brave, and don’t worry about making mistakes. You need to practice, communicate, and believe in yourself. My host mother was a lovely English woman who helped me a lot to improve my English through the daily conversations we had. I was very happy living with her; her name is Dawn. Her house was very beautiful and close to the beach, which I really loved because I could often go for walks to the pier or around the beach. I also had the opportunity to travel to other countries and around the United Kingdom, which was a lot of fun. I visited many beautiful places and was able to put my English into practice in real-life situations. Bournemouth is a very beautiful and calm city. I highly recommend it to people who enjoy walking, seeing beautiful landscapes, going to the beach, and watching the sunset. Traveling alone and talking to new people helps a lot. After some time, you will be able to maintain a conversation and feel very happy and proud of yourself.

Fantastic experience: The best school to learn English in Borneth

Positive experience: Bayswater staff were very nice and tried to make my experience in the school as good as possible. I am satisfied with most of the teachers I had (in total I had 8 teachers in 6 weeks). However, I felt deeply disappointed because I think that I wasn't able to achieve my academic objectives. The school did not offer a C1/C2 class and activities were in general guided by a book, without complex exercises like preparing presentations or writing essays. I understand that the school can not just open a class to accommodate me, but when I booked the course the saleswoman assured me that Bayswater schools were able to accommodate students with any level of English proficiency. I felt that I received false information, I regret having booked this course, and I would not recommend it to people who already has a C1 level and wants to improve specific issues.

Positive experience: This school taught me a lot about getting to know myself, and I really enjoyed my time here, but it could use more trips to big cities — and by that I mean places like Oxford or London.

Negative experience: I attended this institute for two months and, unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The focus is more on making money than on providing quality education. There are no clear or fair standards for teaching or student placement. Many of the students are from the same background, which limits diversity and English practice. I felt like I wasted my time and money. I don’t recommend this place for anyone who is serious about learning English.

Fantastic experience: Standard for entry should be raised. This is the only complaint i have. I will always have fond memories of the staff and experiences i had here. But i cant understand why they are letting people who can't put a single sentence in english together into the school. Most evening activities were unbearable due to the noise caused by some of the foreign students. I only wish this organization would take itself seriously and check before accepting someone in.

Negative experience: My experience at this institute was disappointing. While the reception staff were very kind and welcoming, I found the management’s attitude and communication to be lacking. I expected a more respectful and professional approach, and unfortunately, I did not feel comfortable during my time there. I believe students deserve to be treated with more understanding and care. Management should take the time to listen to students and discuss issues calmly, without rushing to conclusions or decisions
