Fantastic experience: I have been studying at this school for about 10 months, and it has truly been a great experience for me. Not only have the teachers been extremely professional, patient, and supportive, but the whole staff has always been very kind and helpful. They also supported me a lot when I was struggling to find a place to live, which meant so much to me during my time here. The environment at the school is very welcoming, and the people I have met here are amazing. I made great friends from different countries, and everyone was friendly and respectful. I always felt comfortable, supported, and motivated to improve myself. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone who wants to learn English in a positive and caring environment.❤️❤️❤️

Negative experience: I’M STILL WAITING FOR THE REFUND!!! The most disappointing experience I’ve ever had was paying for online lessons at the London School of English. Their virtual individual lessons lack any special features. I don’t recommend paying for one-on-one sessions because you won’t receive anything out of the ordinary. The classes are essentially the same as those you could pay less for with any other teacher outside LSE. The customer service is also a nightmare. If you get sick, you’ll lose your classes because you have to tell them that you’re planning get sick in the upcoming 48 hrs, which is the insane part because otherwise they’ll count it as a no-show. I started here with high hopes of being able to pay and experience virtually what I would live in months later when I travel there, but it was such a disappointing experience

Fantastic experience: A great school to improve your English Warm and welcoming atmosphere, fantastic teachers and staff, spacious and modern classrooms and comfortable lounges and study rooms. It makes you feel at home and improving your English is a given. I did a three-week Business English course in small groups combined with one-to-one lessons in the afternoons. Both courses were the best. A great experience. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to focus on their language skills. I can't think of a better place to do it.

Fantastic experience: I went to the school for two weeks. I can recommend this school as the teachers are competent and motivated and have a lot of experience in teaching English as a foreign language (L2). The administration staff are very friendly and eager to support you and make your stay as pleasant as possible. The school itself and the facilities are modern and useful. Finally, I can recommend the school's kitchen. I looked forward to lunch in the morning and was very pleased with the delicious meals. The best thing I can say about this school is that I would send my own children to this place.

Fantastic experience: I spent four months at the school on the General English Course and listened to materials at the B2+ and C1 levels. Without a doubt, this school is the best place for total language immersion. Exceptional service. The quality of teaching, technical equipment, and the process of knowledge "ironing in" are of a golden standard. Throughout the day, information bombards you through all sensory organs, rhythmically changing the load. The first three months within these walls were the most remarkable in my life in the UK after my sudden move from my home country. A complete reboot. I involuntarily felt the truth of the scientific statement from the famous movie "Arrival" that when you immerse yourself in a foreign language you rewire your brain. In other words, the school gave me much more than knowledge. Every day, I ascended the entrance stairs with a humorously altered expression, "Home, I am honey." Unfortunately, the desire to attend the school's IELTS and Academic Writing courses, which are essential for me, remains my biggest dream and pain, unfulfilled so far. Therefore, everything I write below and above would easily be spoken by me; you would hear my pronunciation, fluency, and coherent speech. I would ace the "check the boxes" test with more than 85 percent, but I'm still handwriting with the help of AI. Despite decades spent studying the language and numerous relocations around the world where it was regularly used, these non-stop lessons shifted me higher from a "confident user" plateau. Thanks to improved by LSE skills, now I have fewer issues as a temporary resident in the UK. I negotiate on any matter related to my child, attend parent-teacher meetings at my daughter's British school, communicate with the school directly. I also independently tackle and resolve any difficulties with representatives of government organizations and adjust where almost all Britons do over several generations. And I flawlessly understand the guide leading me up the 330+ steps of the spiral staircase in the Big Ben tower. The school provides care and patronage to students in any difficulty they may encounter outside of studying. The welcoming office ladies are like fairy godmothers. For resident students, the school's teachers provide answers to any questions as if they were family members—priceless. This is because in England, the rule is "There is a network of locks behind an open door"… This is a true home—a dear home that you'll miss for a long time. Here, they feed you deliciously and wrap you in care, give gifts for holidays, orient you to current events in London, and present diplomas at a special ceremony every week. Students—school guests—make a significant contribution. The strongest students are all in one place! Meeting so many motivated, academically strong students of various ages and professions from all over the world in one classroom is an incredible pleasure. My class was constantly led by up to 10 teachers for a few days or hours - all very strong educators. I consider three of my regular teachers to be geniuses with hearts of gold. One of the geniuses is generous in spirit and the desire to care for students on a saintly scale. The native speaker teachers have vast experience working with foreign students. Sometimes, there was so much information that I looked for a corner to meditate or take a brief nap. If in Ukraine the same unit is studied for a month in an English school or a university course, here in LSE the same unit and additional materials are covered in a week. They teach you and make corrections as they discover gaps in your knowledge in both group and individual sessions. The size of the classrooms, interactive boards, lighting, ventilation, color and design solutions, restrooms, the quality of every item you touch—it's all superb. The technical support team's attitude towards people and their work, the speed at which any issues are resolved—all of this is done at warp speed. I cannot name anything that needs improvement at the school. Everything is excellent. I love it and miss it.

The trainers were not only professional but also very nice, the atmosphere at the school was very warm and welcoming, and the social programme provided a lot of opportunities to meet new people and speak English all day, every day. And the diversity of nations represented give you a broad vision... and you hear a lot of different accents and points of view- Real value for money.

Negative experience: I took the General English course As the most important positive aspect I highlight that, in most cases, the trainers have great experience and motivation. As a negative aspect I point out: they give you limited access to the books. You can see it but if you want to take notes you must write them in your notebook. Otherwise you must buy it, which is an additional expense. They combine morning, afternoon and full-day courses in one group, which becomes a mess. There are no exams in which you can check your progress, monitoring your progress will depend on the perception of the trainer, which in my opinion was not enough.

Fantastic experience: Helpful staff, the teacher is always attentive, the curriculum is personalized. I studied two weeks on the full time course and it was a wonderful experience. I also recommend the option of having lunch in the school which is cheaper and really convenient.

Fantastic experience: I had a really nice teacher : I had a really nice teacher, classroom was perfect for courses, and classmate were helpfull and carefull, with an english level quite similar of mine. An experience I will recommend !

Negative experience: I had really bad experience with my host family, Lucinda. They are sometimes really mean and they blamed me in quite aggressive and intimidating way, when I did something that they don't like, for example, eating in my room. I stayed with them for three weeks and it was really difficult to live with them. The school support the host family and said it's because Lucinda was police officer before, but I'm afraid their behavior and way to talk are not appropriate as host family. I regret that I choose home stay and I don't feel like going back to London in the future because of the traumatic experience with the host family, even though I liked the quality of the English course.

Fantastic experience: The Information I received beforehand was very clear and good. I used the online tool and got a first glimpse of Topics that could be in my interest (Grammar/Listening/Reading/etc.) and on my first day, I had a warm welcome with provided materials. The teacher I had asked me daily what my goals are and even though we had group sessions (3-4 pax) I felt that everyone's whishes/goals were included. The week past by very fast and I'm very happy with the course and can feel a difference in my wrinting/speaking skills.

Fantastic experience: I got to attend school in July 2022, finding myself particularly well, I replicated the experience in April 2023. I particularly appreciated the organization of classes, break times and the knowledge of other students during social moments. This second time I chose to do individual lessons during the morning and they were very useful to accelerate my confidence in expressing myself and understanding. Positive experience: It was a very enjoyable and enriching experience, the teachers are well trained, the staff is friendly and smiling all the time, you will not feel like a stranger in the place, you will feel like you are in your family. The only thing, in my opinion, would be better if they had a curriculum or a book that explains to the student what he will take during his study period, because I find that the file system and papers are very scattered, untidy and very dispersed.

Fantastic experience: Douglas Nakaya and The London School of English The school has a very good location next to Holland Park. The design of the rooms is very comfortable spliced. The classrooms are well equipped with state of the art technology. There is a wonderful dining area and terraces. But the most important thing here is the interesting people and the open atmosphere. If you want to get to know London and want to meet new friends, then this is the place for you. I liked the teacher Douglas Nakaya. He is a man with incredible energy and a talent for teaching. It literally charges you with the pure energy of English. He brilliantly keeps the main topic of the lesson in focus. This is probably my best English teacher. I have a desire to continue studying English with him. It must be said of his amazing approach to learning English through Shakespeare. This is my first experience with English institutions and I really liked it. I learned a lot through the program of evening activities. Thanks to Mr. Ian and Mr. Neil for amazing tours of London. At school I made new acquaintances and many new friends. Thanks you are the best.

Fantastic experience: I attended a General English course and I totally recommend this school. The teacher was fantastic, unfortunately I could stay only one week but thanks to his method I improved my knowledge of the English language and fulfilled my goal which was focusing on the speaking. The staff was amazing, too. From the very first moment I felt at home because everybody was kind, friendly, and helpful. It's worth mentioning also the the chef and the kitchen staff,very kind and professional; the food was delicious and every day there were vegan options. Before I flew there, I didn't set myself any big goals, it was more of an experiment for me to see if I could overcome my barrier to speaking English. And it happened itself, without much effort. Fantastic experience: I took an English for University course conducted by an excellent trainer Johnny. It was so organized that I got a lot of opportunities to practice especially academic writing, discussion and presentation. Thereby, I've become confident about academic English. I came here with basic knowledge that I didn't know how to use, but I understood well, and if not, then excellent school teachers always helped, explained. Fantastic experience: I have had the incredible experience of travelling to London to study English at The London School of English and be fully immersed into a different culture with different people, who have taught me a lot. Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed my Business & Professional English course. The school makes it possible to improve your level of English in only one week. It was very helpful for me to practice with negotiations, presenting, crisis management etc. The teachers are skilled, the staff is wonderful and the lunch is delicious.
