Negative experience: Wenn ihr Englisch lernen wollt, kann ich euch diese Schule empfehlen. Was die pädagogische Ebene angeht, ist sie wirklich gut. Allerdings solltet ihr euch nicht von ihnen bei der Unterkunftsplanung helfen lassen. Ihr werdet möglicherweise in sehr schmutzigen, von Schimmel befallenen und unbewohnbaren Apartments landen oder in unsicheren Gegenden, in denen die Kriminalitätsrate hoch ist.

Fantastic experience: I felt extremely good during my stay! All the staff were extremely kind and helpful, the girls at the reception (especially manu) helped me with everything I needed... Andy was also extremely kind. The teachers Shawn and Howard had a wonderful didactics and made the classes pass faster, they were very kind and understandable in learning a new language. I just have to thank the whole team for this incredible and enriching experience.

The modern classrooms were another highlight. With their bright lighting, interactive whiteboards, and practical furniture, they created an inspiring learning environment. The school itself is located in the heart of London, one of the most exciting cities in the world. The streets are lined with trendy cafes, pubs, and stores. During breaks between classes, I could enjoy the vibrant atmosphere and be energised by the city's buzz. This was already my second time at ‘EC London 30+’ and I can confidently say it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. The progress I've made is as expected, and I'm grateful for the support from my teachers and fellow students. What made my experience even more memorable were the interesting social activities organised by the school. From cultural excursions to language exchange events, there was always something happening. I made friends from all over the world and got to explore London beyond the classroom. The ‘EC London 30+’ language school exceeded my expectations. I really appreciate your patience, the atmosphere you created, working on eye level, which I think is a big challenge in adult education. The organisation was good and the school was flexible with individual needs. I would recommend this school. For reference, I was in the advanced 30+ course, English for work and Business English. For the Germans: This is the perfect place for Bildungsurlaub.

Negative experience: I had a disappointing experience at the school. The teachers lacked sufficient expertise, often resorting to searching for answers during lessons. The administrative staff proved unhelpful, refusing a refund without justification. When suggesting an alternative like course deferral, they refused too. لا أنصح بالمعهد مضيعة للوقت والمال.يستحقون أقل من نجمة

Negative experience: Estou estudando a 3 semanas na escola e minha experiência está sendo muito ruim e cada vez piora. Primeiro, não existe um planejamento pedagógico curricular, eles entregam um livro, mas as aulas não acompanham o livro: na segunda um professor faz a atividade 1, na terça o outro professor, não faz a atividade 2, ele já passa para atividade 9, na quarta o professor já não acompanha o livro e faz uma atividade aleatória, na quinta o professor repete a atividade da segunda e na sexta o professor pergunta o que vocês viram ontem? Simplesmente não existe nenhum planejamento. Não existe uma continuidade do currículo. Toda segunda chegam alunos novos, como não tem continuidade no currículo, algumas aulas são repetidas, Claro que para o aluno que chegou naquela semana, o assunto é novo, mas para o que chegou na semana passada, ele já viu. Então não tem planejamento as aulas são totalmente aleatórias. Não tem um planejamento para que o aluno vá evoluindo no conteúdo. O despreparo é tão grande, que hoje por exemplo ao começar a aula o professor não tinha a senha do sistema. Mostrando claramente que não há o mínimo de planejamento. Segundo, professores não tem formação pedagógica, se tem, não estão usando. Como relatado em outro comentário, não estão preparados para lidar com alunos de diferentes idiomas, principalmente se o idioma não for de origem latina. As aulas são como diz no Brasil, “cuspe giz”, em 3 semanas de aulas , tive uma aula em que o professor fez uma dinâmica, um game. Terceiro, as turmas são super lotadas, como relatado em outro comentário, o professor não consegue ouvir os alunos, tem momentos que aula vira um verdadeiro mercado. Semana passada falaram que estavam dividindo a turma pois estava cheia, mas colocaram um monte alunos novos, atualmente minha turma está com 9 alunos, mas tem turma com 15. Fiquei achando que eu era chata exigente, mas comecei a ouvir várias reclamações e fui conversar, vi que muitos estão insatisfeitos, inclusive uma colega me falou que até se retirou da sala de tão ruim que era a aula. Então após ouvir de outros colegas que também estão insatisfeitos, fui procurar a coordenação. Primeiro uma dificuldade, o coordenador sempre diz depois de tal coisa falo com você, quando consegui conversar com ele, aí fui entender o pós venda, eles transformam a história e dizem que é um problema pessoal do aluno e não da falta de preparo total. Em resumo, não vão fazer nada para melhorar. Para o meu aprendizado, teria sido muito melhor ter gasto este dinheiro com professores nativos do inglês lá mesmo no Brasil. Me sinto completamente lesada e que joguei dinheiro fora. Se você estiver pensando em vir estudar inglês em Londres, procure um professor particular aqui na cidade e aproveite os passeios ou procure um professor particular no seu país, irá aprender muito mais. Já procurei à agência e até outros meios para ver como posso reaver meu dinheiro, pois não aprendi praticamente nada. Só continuo indo porque não tenho como trocar de escola e como já peguei, sempre tenho a esperança que as aulas irão se ajustar e já paguei hospedagem e o curso, então é o jeito ir. Mas estou procurando meus direitos, porquê pra mim que vim do Brasil, o custo foi absurdo para não aprender nada. É revoltante, ah e nem relatei a estrutura da escola, vou relatar em outro comentário.

Negative experience: If you are hesitant about this school, you must take a look at this comment. I had a very bad experience at EC School. I joined a 30-hour-per-week class, but there were too many students in the class (over 14) and our speaking time was limited. (I believe that even during summer vacation, the school should ensure quality in the classes. This would be helpful for students who have come from other countries.) As mentioned above, I've asked my agent to communicate with the school, but the school has informed us that they cannot refund my fee.( It's not the fee for all courses, just the focus class fee, which has not been launched yet.) They have simply refused to issue a refund. Location: Angel station It’s a building and classrooms are small.

Positive experience: C’est une école réputée. J’ai passé 2 semaines dans cette école. Le groupe n’est pas homogène. En plus i y’avait 16 élèves dans le groupe. Les professeurs ne pourraient pas écouter tout le monde. Les activités en groupe on dirait un marché.

Negative experience: لا انصح بالتسجيل بالمعهد، كون عدد الطلبة في الفصل يعتبر كبير ويصل الى ( 14 طالب ) والفصول صغيرة وبالتالي تقل الاستفادة، كذلك كان موقعهم السابق ممتاز ومريح ثم انتقلو الى موقعهم الجديد عند محطة انجل وهذا الموقع سيء جداً مقارنة بالسابق، وللعلم فإن اكثر الصور التي هنا هي للموقع السابق، كذلك المعلمون يحتاجون الى دورات للتعامل بإحترافية مع جميع الجنسيات. The Institute not very well, they changed their place, so alot of the pictures not correct, this pictures for old place، I think the teachers need to take special course for learning ( How you dealing with all nationalities)

Negative experience: المعهد فاشل جدا. أنا لا أوصي به على الإطلاق. يحتاج المعلمون إلى فن في شرح الدروس والتعامل مع الطلاب من جميع الجنسيات. The institute is a very bad failure. I do not recommend it at all. Teachers need an art in explaining lessons and dealing with students of all nationalities.

Fantastic experience: I'm glad to share my experience of 3 weeks in EC London! After searching for a long while, I decided to join ECLondon for a few weeks to develop my English skills. For my surprise, the experience was better than excellent. Since the first day the reception was always there to help me and orientate my self and when I arrived I feel my self included with all the students and teachers from the academy. Especially the teacher, Damien, made our classes dynamic, creative and fun. He was always teaching us new vocabulary and new ways to improve our speaking. Otherwise, encouraged us to keep learning outside the classes with homework and other kind of resources. 10 out of 10. In Spanish, we would say: "Gracias por Todo!"

Positive experience: รีวิวจากประสบการณ์ตรงสำหรับคนไทยที่ตัดสินใจไปเรียนภาษา ส่วนตัวเรียนที่นี่เกือบๆหกเดือน โดยรวมไม่ค่อยประทับใจ 1.ลงเรียนอีกคอร์สไปถึงได้เรียนคอร์สที่เราไม่อยากเรียน สุดท้ายคอร์สที่ลงมาดันปิดซะงั้น 2.วิธีการสอนไม่เข้าถึงนักเรียน ครูพูดจาแปลกๆพูดผิดทำหน้าตลกใส่ไม่พยายามอธิบายดีๆหรืออิกนอไปเลยในบางครั้ง แล้วแต่อารมณ์ ควบคุมนักเรียนไม่ค่อยได้เวลาเถียงกัน เรียนไปแล้ว อีหยังหวะ ไม่ใช่กับบทเรียนนะแต่กับวิธีการสอน 3.เจ้าหน้าที่อื่นๆโอเคติดต่ออะไรสะดวก รวดเร็ว 4.บรรยากาศในการเรียนโดยรวมอึดอัดถ้าไม่มีเพื่อน ส่งผลให้พัฒนาตัวเองไม่เต็มที่และบางคนอาจจะไม่กล้าแสดงออก มีนักเรียนหลายคนเลิกเรียนไปกลางคัน (ซึ่งไม่ควรเกิดขึ้น) สุดท้าย ถ้าเลือกจะไปก็ขึ้นอยู่กับดวงว่าจะไปเจอครูคนไหนสอนแบบไหนมีความเป็นครูมากน้อยยังไง ได้หลักสูตรที่ตรงความต้องการไหม แต่ถ้าจ่ายเป็นแสนๆแล้วมานั่งเสี่ยงโชคอย่าเลย แนะนำให้เปลี่ยนโรงเรียนดีกว่า และ 70% ของนักเรียนเป็นเอเชีย ใครหวังจะไปอยู่ในวัฒนธรรมยุโรป อาจจะผิดหวัง ข้อดี ติดรถไฟฟ้า ห้องน้ำสะอาด เจ้าหน้าที่คุยง่าย เป็นกันเอง (แต่ไม่แก้ปัญหา) มีกิจกรรมบ้างตามวันสำคัญ ไม่ต้องปรับตัวมากมายเพราะคนเอเชียเยอะมาก ปล.ที่นี่ไม่มีไมโครเวฟให้นักเรียน ซึ่งโดยปกติที่รรอื่นมี(เป็นพื้นฐานที่ต้องจัดหา) เป็นเรื่องใหญ่พอสมควร เพราะส่วนใหญ่อาหารที่นู่นตามร้านสะดวกซื้อจะเป็นแบบเย็น ซึ่งจำเป็นต้องอุ่นก่อนกิน ดังนั้นถ้าไม่ทำอาหารมาเองก็ต้องไปกินตามร้านหรือทนกินอาหารเย็น

Negative experience: It was a really bad experience, not professional at all regarding sales marketing. I bought my English course and the person who sold me the course is in Malaysia because the staff of this School work around the world, it was a totally nightmare. when I arrived at the EC school in London and they did not have any space for me. the schedule was different and the last straw was the course that I chose and paid for no longer existed, so I felt deceived and of course disappointed with the person who sold me this course. Now I have to wait 20 days to get my money back. Please be careful because the foreign sales agents can sell you a course that does not exist and when you arrive in London it will be a big problem!

Fantastic experience: Escola boa, mas é do estilo "se vira", eu gosto.Estimula passeios com os alunos e quebra o gelo, o que melhora a imersão, interação e desenvolvimento na sala de aula. Professores em geral muito bons.Adorei a professora Melissa e o professor Julius. A professora Sophie era meio implicante e não ensinava muito bem.

Negative experience: Pour tous les français qui comme moi se sont dirigés sur les avis google avant de réserver dans cette école, je vous invite a lire attentivement mon ressenti après prés de 3 mois au sein de l'école EC London . Je vais commencer par les points forts qui occuperont moins de lignes mais qui restent quand même à citer : 1- La sympathie du staff -> Les sourires sont compris dans le prix. En cas de problème ( mineur ), ils chercheront à vous aider à le résoudre. Ils sont bien intentionnés. C'est ce que je qualifierais "d'extra", à côté des cours. 2- La proximité des professeurs -> Les professeurs sont accessibles pour toutes questions. 3- L'emplacement de l'école -> À deux pas d'une bouche de métro desservant plusieurs lignes. Venons-en désormais au noyau dur : Les cours. Aïe... Voici les points négatifs, qui après avoir parlé avec de nombreux étudiants, me semblent désormais plus qu'objectif : 1- La qualité d'enseignement -> Mila diou, rien ne justifie un tel prix ! La qualité des cours est légère, comparable à un club Med. Après avoir eu de nombreux échanges de mécontentements entre mon agence ( Voyage-Langue ) et mon école, certains points ont essayé d'être améliorés ( ex : °Ne plus passer 30m/1h le vendredi à parler de notre plan chacun son tour pour le WE, puis 30m/1h le lundi à dire ce qu'on avait fait le WE, ° Don de quelques devoirs facultatifs à la fin des cours qui aura survécu 2 semaines, °Plus de passage 1h30 sur le vocabulaire de 10 fruits/légumes qu'on peut très bien apprendre chez soit, etc... ). La qualité d'enseignement reste très inférieure à celle que j'ai connu en France de ma petite section de maternelle à mon Master, sans aucune exception annuelle. N'espérez pas payer prés de 2.000€/mois comme je l'ai fais, et avoir le sentiment d'aller dans une école avec la moindre discipline ( et prier pour ne pas avoir de perturbateur dans votre classe ). Car ici c'est pas du tout ce qui vous attend. À contrario, si vous êtes riche, ou fils de riche qui ne compte pas son argent, je vous recommande cette école pour partir en vacance ou envoyer votre enfant en vacance. Il en ressortira forcément avec un meilleur niveau a minima tout en se la collant douce. Hélas, ce n'était pas mon cas... Ni même mon objectif. Je vous épargne mes histoires personnelles avec mes réclamations non abouties, soucieux de fournir un avis objectif tel que j'aurais aimé le lire avant d'investir ces milliers d'euros. 2- Le manque de sérieux des méthodes d'évaluation -> Trafic du niveau certifié par le British Council. Je ne vais pas passer longtemps sur ce sujet épineux qui à mes yeux me scandalise. Pour passer d'un niveau à l'autre ( Pré-Intermédiaire à Intermédiaire à Upper-Intermediaire etc ), il faut demander de nous débloquer un test sur Internet. Et bien ce test, restez bien assis, les gens le font chez eux avec des gens qui les aident/google traduction. Un mec à la librairie était carrément au téléphone avec google traduction en arrière page, dans le plus grand des calmes. Pendant que d'autres suivent le jeu, mais cela ne devrait pas être optionnel. On parle d'un certificat attestant d'un niveau certifié par le British Council, pas d'un simple mouchoir signé par un professeur. Bref, comme quoi, l'argent achète bien des priviléges ! 3- La diversité des nationalités -> Pourcentage erronés. Personnellement, les pourcentages vendus étaient mentionnés par le biais de mon agence, sur le site de voyage-langue. Or, 60% des étudiants sont Asiatique ( je reste très gentil ). Même si je les aime beaucoup, la communication/différence d'accent paralyse ( surtout jusqu'au niveau Upper) l'efficacité des exercices de speaking. Loin de la mixité vendue... Finally, j'arrive à la limite de possibilité d'écriture du commentaire donc en bref, je recommande uniquement cette école si vous ne comptez pas vos billets. Par contre comptez bien vos pièces car les impressions en couleurs en coûtent et pas la moindre n'est comprise dans les 2000€/mois. J'en ai tant d'autres à dire... On s'en contentera. Fantastic experience: Ho prenotato il corso d'inglese rivolgendomi direttamente alla scuola, senza passare per degli intermediari, e devo dire che è stato più facile di quanto pensassi. Hanno risposto sempre e in brevissimo tempo a tutte le mie email con le domande, ma la cosa che ho apprezzato di più era il fatto che non hanno fatto le pressioni affinché prenotassi.Ho potuto prendere tutto il tempo di cui avevo bisogno e valutare con calma la loro offerta. Non solo, a poche settimane dal inizio del corso ( che già avevo pagato !) ho dovuto posticipare il tutto di quasi un mese, ed è bastata una semplice telefonata e una mail per poter scegliere le nuove date. Davvero bravi, complimenti ! Per quanto riguarda il corso è stata un'esperienza molto interessante. Classi composte da piccoli gruppi , insegnati in gamba e alla mano, e tutto lo staff molto attento alle esigenze/problematiche di ogni singolo studente. Mi è piaciuto il fatto che gli studenti vengono seguiti e loro progressi valutati dagli insegnati, cosi che chi fa più progressi nello studio viene spostato nei gruppi con insegnamento di livello superiore. Molto utile la loro piattaforma online per poter studiare e fare degli esercizi. Ho apprezzato il fatto che l'accesso alla piattaforma viene dato subito dopo aver prenotato il corso, cioè prima ancora di arrivare a Londra ti danno il modo di cominciare a studiare l'inglese ! In poche parole da consigliare !

Fantastic experience: It's an excellent English language school with easy access next to Euston Station, And can be reached from several other stations such as, King Cross,or Euston square Station. There are two sections of class room for students who are +30 years old and class rooms for students who are 16+ old. There are Seven levels of courses starting from beginner to advance. There are also business classes. The average number of students inside the classroom is 10. Each lesson takes 3 hours devided into two parts. For example, on Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's, we have lessons from 9:00 A.M to 12:00 P.M. According to Tuesdays and Thursdays, the lessons are available from 3:00 p.m to 6:00 p.m. The student can be come of any time he wants. He can replace his time from morning to the afternoon and by Contrast. In the middle of every lesson, there is a break for 15 minutes. There are some specific lessons from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM such as masters preparation, IELTS, Conversions, grammar, reading and English in the City. Free lessons are found and it's very good to attend. Moving to weekends, there are some social activities with low Prices. You can have a look on the weekly news letter. Some of these activities are outside the U.K. There are some recommen. The more you register early, the more discount you will take especially on Jan and February. Also the school website Contains free services and lessons. Our School is acritiled from the Saudi government and it has many contracts with military organizations, Educational and Commercial sectors. It's very important to apply for the Passing test to develop your level when ever you are ready. Also you must check your Email to keep in touch with the school. Be careful don't stay in Scape housing because the service there is not suitable. Staff and teachers are so Excellent. They have good relations with their learners. I thank them all starting from Suize, the students service manager , Mr. Chris, the teachers Manager, and also Daniel with his assistant Adrian. Special thanks also for Alberto, the employee of the students service center. He is Italian and he is so friendly. Thanks to the students service center for the students who are +30. Special thanks to Fatima Ahmad and the two Spanish and Venezuelan employees. Thanks for the professional teachers especially Anita and also Melissa and the Chocolate lover Aljoshua who is so polite and respectful. I Can't forget one of the most helpful and respectful teachers with all his learners, Mr. Eder who is Mexican. My own advice for any learner , Don't take less than Four weeks in the study plan and you should have some basics. I will come back again next year and you can communicats with me when ever you want. Negative experience: teaching and school vibes are great ,however, very expensive compared to other schools nearby, and if you get a quotation through an email, expect to stick to that quotation for the rest of your life, even if you didn’t confirm that you agree to that quotation, you cannot change your mind even if you were able to get a better deal.

Fantastic experience: Does the staff read the comments here? It is a very good school, but I was troubled that I and my friends could not read the cursive writing in English. More than 90% of Country students adopting American-style English education can not read it. It feels very difficult to determine by the writer. l or i? r or n or s? It was good that the teacher's class that they wrote in block letters was very easy to understand for us. Some students can not read the sentences in which the letters are connected. For example, it is easy to read if it is a typeface like a magazine or a website. In class, I had time to read cursive letters written by other students, but I could not read them. It seems that Europeans learn special cursive writing by each country. They used cursive letters on a daily basis and heard that it was hard to live if they could not read and write cursive letters. What should I do if a student who only spends a few weeks in the school meets a teacher who mainly uses cursive writing? We thought that it was bad to stop the progress of the class by checking the unreadable letters one by one, so we could not ask a question. Are the students who entered without knowing have to make an effort to adapt to the class? I think it is important to reply to Google comments. We can feel enthusiasm and good faith.

Fantastic experience: perfect English school !!! all teachers and staff are very professional or enjoy their work which is the most important. I recommend this school 100% thanks to all the teachers especially Suzie, David, Tauseef, Emily and Andy.

Negative experience: I had only exprerience with client relations and must unfortunatelly say that it is terrible from their side. I am not quite sure if that is up to the person but similar thing happened last and this year. I sent them a question and school's "advisor" forced to send me the quote even if I did not ask for one. I sent out second question and no answer for more than a week. Last year similar thing, I was offered a phone call which I accepted but "advisor" (unfortunatelly same person this year) did not show up for a call and did not send any info why call was missed. Due to that I thought that school is a fake but fortunatelly it was ok. As far as the class is concerned it was quite good, according to the person who I booked it for, but unprofessional client relations make it much less satisfactory.

Positive experience: Excellente école. Un peu trop chère mais l'organisation y est bonne, ils offrent beaucoup de services et aident leurs élèvent du mieux qu'ils peuvent dans tous les domaines. Les profs y sont excellents. J'y ai passé mes 3 meilleurs mois à Londres! Il y a peu de français, ce qui est un avantage pour nous pour apprendre l'anglais.

Fantastic experience: I was at EC London in 2015 and I really liked it there, the teachers were very professional and good, the homestay I was allocated to was impeccable and the people at EC were very helpful when I had requests or was unsure about things surrounding my stay. I met a lot of amazing people there and improved my English a lot, so I can only recommend it.

Fantastic experience: I've been a student at EC London for four weeks and I've found the school and my whole experience great. Helpful staff, great teachers, amazing premises and excellent location. In fact I liked so much that now I'm working at Euston school as part of the academic staff.

Fantastic experience: I studied at EC for eight weeks. The staff is awesome and teachers are very attentive. Besides, it is a well located school, right in front of Euston Station and just five minutes walking from Kings Cros St Pancras. Loved the experience.
