Mr. Oliver Eke, the Director, supported us from the very beginning with excellent guidance and organisation, including arranging a wonderful host family and regularly checking in on our daughter. She felt extremely comfortable at the school, made great friendships, and really enjoyed her teachers, who made the lessons engaging and motivating. The organised leisure activities were also excellent and added a lot to her experience. We always felt well supported and reassured knowing she was in professional and caring hands. Insegnante, Robert , molto preparato e soprattutto paziente, la manager della scuola, Marianna, che mi ha supportato e soprattutto sopportato la house family che mi ha ospitato molto bella e con i proprietari molto carini e soprattutto simpatici! Consiglio vivamente la scuola! Sarei rimasta per un tempo maggiore ma avevo il mio piccolo cane Gastone che mi aspettava! Il mio inglese notevole migliorato e non è detto che ripeterò la stessa esperienza il prossimo anno nella stessa scuola per raggiungere un livello superiore !!!! Positive experience: I have been there for four weeks and the host mother was very kind, hospital and helpful. She made me feel like I was at home. I am very grateful to her. The home was easy to get there and It was quite comfortable.

Positive experience: It was really nice as i had a lot of fun, got to meet new friends, explored places i’d never seen, and had a unique experience. This summer camp was indeed a really nice experience for someone my age, (12-13) because i learned how to be independent by myself without my parents, which is an amazing thing in my opinion. Staff was amazing and they helped me a lot throughout my time in this summer camp.

Fantastic experience: Fiz meu intercâmbio em brighton com a ISE, não tive dificuldades em me comunicar para tirar as dúvidas antes de iniciar o curso (ainda no Brasil) pois eles tem o suporte para atender diversas nacionalidades, no meu caso conversávamos em português, até eu me sentir segura. Minha host family é uma ótima anfitriã, quarto limpo e uma vista incrível para admirar após um longo dia de estudo. ISE sempre preocupado com a minha experiência como cliente, sempre perguntando se precisava de suporte tanto na host family como na escola. Foi uma experiência incrível, eu super indico o serviços da ISE.

Fantastic experience: I’m satisfied with all areas of your experience in Brighton and Hove. The director of the school, Oliver is supportive and he solve the problem quickly. Veronica who is my teacher is really helpful and eager to teach English. The best point for me is the number of students in this class isn’t big. It is not only easy to ask questions but also I have a lot of opportunities to speak English ( Since I’m an introvert, if the class was big, I would hesitate to speak). Fantastic experience: I was looking for a school that would prepare me for the IELTS test. Since ISE is only a few minutes from my house, I decided to call them and get more information. Tiziana - the lady at the reception immediately invited me to come to do a free test where I will test my level of English and then invited me to the IELTS taster session. I fell in love with that place. Tiziana, the receptionist, and Veronika, the teacher, were very kind and friendly. The lesson with Veronika had a form of friendly discussion, but I learned a lot. I was a bit sorry when my university offered me a place without IELTS and I didn’t need to use ISE. But if I ever needed the services of a language school again, I know exactly where to go. Thank you ISE for this short experience.

Negative experience: OK now it’s been long time and I’m writing this feedback just to show that I have not forgot the worst experience you could ever have, it was exactly in this school. Well, I’m not going to talk about the details, I would just say this school maybe will let sleep in the streets when they guarantee that you become officially a student with them, the only thing they care about is the money, they could lie to you just for the money, they will use every single detail just to get money. To be more honest this is not include everyone works in this school it just about one person but this person is very important because this person is the one who is running everything in this school, this person is exactly has no idea about working ethics, I really doubt that this person has a high percent of the school revenue and does not care about the school reputation. In conclusion if you are a student or an agent think twice before joining to this school, if the school want to move forward and fix their problems that many students suffered from, you should find the poison and get rid of it !

Fantastic experience: There is a good school that I had been studying for 9 months. I started from pre-intermediate (A2) until upper-intermediate (B2) and I topped up an IELTS class to prepare for doing the academic IELTS exam. Obviously, I can say that they helped me to be a massive improvement, including listening, speaking, writing and reading skills. I’m very glad that I chose this school at that time. Not only good at knowledge but all teachers and staffs are very welcome and friendly also. Moreover, they arrange free classes at lunch time to encourage any students who want to improve more pronunciation and conversation that you can meet other students from different classes that means you have more opportunities to know new friends and practice more speaking, listening. It’s not only that’s generous from them, in the evening they always prepare more activities, such as football games, karaoke, dinner, movies and so on, that can help students to get well and build a good connection together. Students in this school usually come from many parts around the world, for example, Europe zone (Italy, Spain, Sweden, Greece, Germany, France, Hungary, and so on), Asia (Thailand, China, Korea, Turkey, Oman, Vietnam, Japan and so on), South America (Brazil, Chili, Argentina, and so on). As my experience above, these are clearly that ISE Brighton is not only a school but they seem to be my part of family that tried to provide more benefits for students as much as they can. I do recommend that if you find a good school to improve your English skills and span your friends around the world, this school is a good choice for you.

Negative experience: السنة الماضية ارسلت ولدي صغير، جلست معاهم اول اسبوع ورجعت ليكمل تعليم الانجليزي، ثاني اسبوع رجعت اخذته. لا اهتمام من قبل الإدارة، ولا مسئولية وتعليم سئ وغير متدربين المعلمين. ولا مبنى غير مهيئ للتعليم،يعشقون الفلوس فقط والتعليم سئ جدا، انصح الإبتعاد عن هذا المعهد.خصوصا،، لان اكثر طلاب صغار حقين كحول الله يرفع عنهم ،اما دراسة كبار حسب كلام شخص انهم سرقوه مبلغ وانكرو ذلك ا، والدراسه غير مريحه حسب تعبيره نصدمت من ولدي يوم يحكي ليا،ايش يجيبو معاهم في فصل. والي بيروح لمعهد اخر لايدفع اكثر من اسبوع، يمكن مايناسبه تعليم

El resto de personal te ayuda en cualquier cosa que necesites y existe la posibilidad de alojarte en una host family, ellos se encargan de todo. Se organizan actividades de todo tipo todos los días.

Positive experience: Una buona scuola che ho frequentato questa estate per 2 settimane in modalità Intensive 30h. Sono stata molto bene, lo staff è cordiale e preparato e la zona è strategica, essendo molto centrale. Le classi da me frequentate erano ben organizzate, con massimo 15 allievi. In ogni classe erano presenti diversi italiani (nelle due classi che ho frequentato, livello B1 o B1+, circa il 40-50% del totale), per cui se siete italiani e NON volete parlare italiano, sarà importantissimo integrarvi in gruppi dove siano presenti persone di nazionalità diversa dalla vostra. Il valore aggiunto che può offrire un soggiorno studio in ISE è infatti, a mio avviso, l'opportunità di conversare in inglese durante le ore extrascolastiche e mettere in pratica la grammatica appresa a lezione. Le lezioni mi sono sembrate infatti piuttosto incentrate su lunghe sessioni di grammatica e comunque "agganciate" agli esercizi sul libro (tipo fill the gap). Poi dipende anche dal docente che vi segue. Io personalmente mi sono trovata meglio con la docente più adulta della scuola perché apriva la lezione con una lunga sessione di conversazione di gruppo e con un professore che era particolarmente attento alla pronunciation, aspetto molto importante per me. Purtroppo la prima non era l'insegnante ufficiale del mio livello, per cui conoscerla e averla come docente è stata una circostanza fortuita. L'altro professore veniva da noi solo due mattine a settimana. Per il resto tutto ok, spazi un po' ristretti, forse l'idea di commistionare la reception con l'area caffé è un'idea poco felice perché, coloro che vengono a saldare o chiedere informazioni nelle ore di pausa, si trovano inevitabilmente in mezzo ad una folla di studenti che prende il caffé. Viceversa, le persone che sono in pausa vedono le persone che saldano. Non è proprio il massimo per entrambe le tipologie di utenza però capisco che gli spazi sono piccolini. Personalmente non penso che tornerò, nel senso che per il mio lavoro necessito di una tipologia di apprendimento meno legata al libro e decisamente più pratica, meno legata al livello (che sono solo lettere e numeri, alla fine, a meno che non ti prendi un First) e molto più smart nell'espressione scritta e orale, quindi spendibile nel mondo del lavoro e della quotidianità. Purtroppo l'inglese non si apprende riempiendo i puntini tipo english schools italiane, quindi il mio consiglio è, se avete le mie stesse esigenze: conversate tanto nelle ore extrascolastiche, ogni momento sarà preziosissimo, oppure scegliete direttamente una scuola con impostazione diversa. Per il resto grazie a tutto lo staff friendly, sempre tanto disponibile e ai docenti. In bocca al lupo per tutto e buon lavoro :)

Fantastic experience: Esperienza assolutamente positiva, ho passato tre intense settimane di studio ma anche di divertimento insieme a tanti ragazzi che come me avevano esigenza di migliorare l'inglese. Gli insegnanti sono eccezionali e la scuola risponde a qualsiasi necessita'. Anche l'alloggio e' stato una piacevole sorpresa. Da rifare!

L'arricchimento che ho tratto dagli insegnanti, dall'ambiente e soprattutto dai miei compagni internazionali ė stato unico.. porterò per sempre un bellissimo ricordo di Brighton e di questa scuola! Fantastic experience: I'm taking an English course in this school, and I couldn´t be more satisfied with the result. The staff are really helpful, and they always receive you with a smile. Regarding the teachers, they are very well prepared and with years of experience,so that's tremendously reassuring. They make the class funny and useful at the same time, for what it's easy to learn¡ I recommend ISE to those who want learn english having the best teachers.

Fantastic experience: I took a course of Business English, I've been attending for 2 months; great experience: not only the course itself was well organised, interesting, and turned out really useful, but also the manager and the assistants were very helpful and friendly. Very nice location, too: centre of town, and you can pop by a little eralier than your class and have a cup of tea!

Fantastic experience: I'm an English teacher at a Secondary School in Spain and last year took a group of my students to ISE. We had an excellent experience and we are returning next summer. The staff was very close to the students`s needs and likes and the activities were good and varied. I recommend the school to anyone wanting to learn English and enjoy their time. In addition, the perfect complement for a good experience is that Brighton is a very lively city and it is very near London and other important places of interest.
