Fantastic experience: Luxdale School was one of the best chapters of my life. It is a truly wonderful school that gave me unforgettable memories I will always cherish. I am proud to be part of the Class of 2025. The students were amazing, and the sense of unity and respect among everyone made the experience even more special. I’m grateful for every moment and everyone who was part of this journey ✨

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure, nay, privilege of working at this fantastic establishment for nearly 3 years and can honestly say I loved every minute. The school is in Brighton, England's most popular beach destination that is a very cool and progressive city with something for everyone. Great pubs and nightlife, international cuisine and has a very artsy feel to the place. The school itself is set on a small private estate with stunning grounds and scenery. The local wildlife is prolific with squirrels, daylong birdsong and they even have a semi tame pet fox! The owners are 2 of the kindest, most thoughtful people I've ever worked for and they love their school and look after the staff incredibly well. My D.o.S. was a really cool guy that really cares about good quality teaching, and would bend over backwards to help and make sure my classes ran smoothly. He's also a bit of an international musician on the side. My young European learners were awesome, and I had so much fun teaching adult students from all over the world. In my international class I had students from: Saudi Arabia, Russia, Switzerland, Japan, Afghanistan, Iraq and so many other countries, it gave our classes a real global community feel. I also feel as if I learnt as much from them as they hopefully did from me. But the best thing about Loxdale English was the teaching staff. Going to school felt like a bit of a treat as I got to work and mingle with such a lovely, wonderful bunch of like minded, hardworking people. Always committed to delivering interesting, educational, fun and lively classes, always offering advice and suggestions to other members of staff. It was great to be a part of the Loxdale family, and I miss them all dearly. If I was a prospective student looking to study in the UK.... I'd 100% consider giving Loxdale a look, if not a try. It's by far the best school that I've taught at in Britain and I think you'll find it's the same for you.

Negative experience: En el 2014 decidí ir a Loxdale a sacar el título de B2 de inglés, era la primera vez que viajaba al extranjero y tuve muy mala suerte con mi host family. Sin embargo la estancia en la escuela fue buena y muy grata. Aprendí de mis compañeros y profesores. Pero he de decir que tengan mucho cuidado con qué familias dejan a los alumnos ya que puede generar mucho stress y como en mi caso una depresión severa. Por cierto Karen y Anna se portaron de maravilla.

Fantastic experience: This summer my daughter was in Loxdale school. She had a great experience. Now she has higher level of english and also lots of friends from the world. We are so grateful your school. I’m higly reccomended Loxdale summer courses.

Positive experience: Il collage in sé è una struttura complessivamente fatta bene. Gli insegnanti sapevano svolgere con magnificenza il proprio lavoro. Al posto di inziare tutti al livello base di inglese consiglierei prima di strutturare le classi di fate dei test di ingresso. Il cibo era sufficientemente buono contando che eravamo molte persone. Si potrebbe migliorare il fatto che c'è del materiale assente all'interno della palestra. Ad esempio c'è solo uno dei due guantoni da box e vari oggetti erano danneggiati. Consiglio l'esperienza translation in English The collage itself is an overall well done structure. The teachers knew how to do their job beautifully. Instead of starting everyone at a basic level of English, I would recommend taking entrance tests before structuring the classes. The food was good enough considering that we were a lot of people. The fact that there is some material missing inside the gym could be improved. For example, there is only one of the two boxing gloves and various items were damaged. I recommend the experience

Fantastic experience: Excellent school! Friendly, helpful and welcoming staff, teachers that really pushed me to improve my English and identify where I might need improvements. They were very accommodating to student ideas/concerns and give students lots of freedom through things like social activities, class events and of course the activity week where students get to visit and present about some part of England. I spent a whole term there and made so many friends, improved my English immensely and learned tons about English culture. The location itself is great as well. The building has a lovely mansion-esque aesthetic. The classrooms share this aesthetic and it makes for this very nice vibe while in school. Highly recommend enrolling here if given the opportunity, you won't regret it!

Fantastic experience: I'm with 13 students from Italy here for a week (not long enough), and I am so impressed with this school. The organisation, the high quality and warmth of the staff, the activities and my homestay is exceptional. I highly recommend this English Learning Centre and will definitely return next year for longer. Thank you!

Negative experience: Head of studies rudest person I have every spoken to ,took my children to see the site and tower ,was asked who I was then he continued to say I have an attitude in my reply,and was very rude asked us to leave as it was private ,well that's the best was to speak to another adult with 3 young children in the car,well little did he know I have 2 international companies,and was show the kids as we were interested in book the whole site X3 times this year,but after that were going elsewhere,

Fantastic experience: I studied at Loxdale English Centre during the springterm 2020. The teachers and staff are kind and warm and makes the school a welcoming atmosphear. The quality of the courses are high and you get a variated and developing education at Loxdale. The school is located in beutiful and calm surroundings close to both nature and cities like Brighton and London. I definitely recomend to study here!

Fantastic experience: Studied here from January until June. It’s a really good school, the teachers are fantastic, the rooms are beautiful (most of them) and the atmosphere is just right. You make great friends from all over the world, you get to see Brighton which is an unconventional city, filled with street art and bohemians. If you have any issues, problems or questions the teachers really do listen and make sure to put an effort in the help you. They value their students a lot. I want to give the teachers I had most often a big thanks, Oscar, which is sadly leaving the school, and Stuart with a heart of gold and his fashionable style. Thanks for having me!

Fantastic experience: Perfetto per esperienza all'estero. La scuola come edificio è davvero molto bella, immersa nel verde, con il vialetto di ingresso molto suggestivo. Le attività organizzate sono veramente fantastiche, specialmente le uscite alla scoperta dei luoghi inglesi.

Fantastic experience: I spent the autumn term at Loxdale and I will never forget the great people I met there, both teachers and students. The school really invites you in to learn all about british culture and expands your language skills on the journey. Awesome school. Could not have been much better, in all honesty.

Positive experience: I applied for "performing arts" at loxdale and was expecting a school were I would learn both english and music/performing arts the whole term, but that was not quite the case. This school is perfect for the ones who want to study english, the teachers are incredible! But for the ones who may look for a drama/music school, this is not the place. Although, I had a wonderful time and certainly improved my english and learned about different interesting topics!

Fantastic experience: I love this school. I'm not saying it just as an advertisement I truly love Loxdale. Moving to another country can sometimes be difficult but the people at Loxdale made me feel right at home. It takes time to get used to speaking English all the time but it's definitely worth it! You end up with an increased vocabulary and more confidence. As my friend who came to visit me said: "It feels more like a school than a home." And that's how I feel! The teachers actually care about you as an individual! I will miss this place.
