It feels like they have a GIFT for teaching. Incredible! Moreover, they make you feel comfortable in class, helping everyone answer questions and focus on studying what truly matters. Fantastic experience: I attended the ELC English course for about 6 months. They were very helpful in improving my English and achieving the IELTS score I needed. Also, all the materials are provided during the lessons, so there is no need to purchase extra books. Thanks to all ELC team.

Fantastic experience: I would say that ELC has widened my knowledge of English and the way the teach the grammar was better than when I used to study it in the past. The teacher is so enthusiastic and pushes and challenges us. The lessons are also very flexible, if we can not come one day there is no problem to come or switch to another day. The books are not necessary and all materials we get in the lessons which make lessons more easy and not boring.

The teachers are absolutely helpful in any questions you may have. After 2 weeks lessons I've good base to continue with studying on my own. Rooms are small but efficiently furnished. The location is easy to find near bus and train station. Thank you for having me in May 2022!

Negative experience: After dealing with the Principal and a member of staff trying to arrange some lessons, not impressed at all. Should learn to communicate correctly with foreign students and try apologising when in the wrong. You have only belittled yourself with the response you left, I'm so glad my wife didn't go with you.

Fantastic experience: The ELC Language School in Reading has helped me to improve my English. I liked the fact that the classes were of about 10 students. The teacher made us practise a lot of speaking. Every week we had different topics and we learned vocabulary, grammar, etc. It was very interesting. I studied there many years ago, I sent one of my daugthers there to study as well. Now, she is working in an English spoken language country with no problem at all. My English was so good at my job that some people thought I was from UK! I am honest.

Negative experience: The employees of this educational institution do not have an understanding of customer focus at the stage of forming an application for training. Course information has to be pulled from employees. In a difficult situation, there is no support from employees and a positive solution to the issue, as well as an apology about the current situation. An absolutely negative impression, unfortunately.

ENG: I attended for a month last summer, the School is well organized, several levels, flexibility and good price. An advantage is we are few students in each class so the teacher focus on each of us and all the group. Very pleasant atmosphere and friendly, I have improve on pronunciation and fluency. I definitely recommed it.

Fantastic experience: We have attended at ELC in Reading through the last few months. Absolutely excellent facility and it is a friendly, approachable and effective learning organisation. My wife is learning English as a second language for work and has found Mr McBurney's (the School Principal) teaching methods to be perfect for her needs. It has been awfully complex with the recent lockdowns but Mr McBurney has been flexibility personified... much more so than more formal and more costly operations. Fees appreciably better value than comparable schools we have looked at and the friends that my wife has made are all really sweet people and enjoy being at ELC. This is the outcome from ELC being a well-organised and considerate schooling environment. Wholeheartedly recommended.
