Point to be improved: There are many Saudi students, and their accent is quite strong. For Latin American students at the beginning, it can be difficult to understand them during interactions with classmates.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed my time at Bayswater. I was able to make really good friends; the teachers are very approachable and friendly, and they always make sure that the topics they are teaching are clear to all the students. ​The activities that Bayswater offers are also excellent. When you first arrive, you can feel lost and alone, and these activities specifically help you meet students and integrate more into the school environment. ​Regarding the accommodations, they are good too. The staff at the Accommodation office is always helpful if you have any issues concerning your flat, room, or even flatmates. ​Overall, all the staff at Bayswater is very kind, and they always ensure that every need or problem you have is resolved. ​Would I return to Bayswater Liverpool? Yes, I would love to go back.

Fantastic experience: This college is located right in the heart of the city. Once classes are over, you can hang out and take photos nearby just like this without needing to take a bus. It’s not too small, but not huge either—though it does get pretty crowded on event days. The teachers are great, and the students are friendly and easy to talk to. The classrooms are nice too if you're lucky, you might get a room with a window that offers a stunning view of the city center and the classes aren't too stressful, and you're free to express your opinions openly. There's a perfect balance of respect for different cultures and religions here. Also, every weekend you can join organized trips to explore new places with new friends. Getting to chat and bond while visiting somewhere we've never been before-that's exactly what I love about this place.

Fantastic experience: I just loved the time I passed at Bayswater, that was only three weeks, I wish it had been more and hope go again. It was amazing to participate of the activities mainly those ones that happened out of the school, but I also enjoyed the conversation Club in the school. All the classes and teachers were good and fun, I learnt a lot, specially Peter’s and Eve’s classes. Fantastic experience: I’ve been in Liverpool for almost six months. I studied at MC Academy for five of those months. The school helped me improve my writing, reading, and listening skills, but I was disappointed with my speaking progress. Most of the students were Arabic speakers, so I didn’t have many opportunities to practise speaking English. Usually, the only people I could speak English with were the staff. Recently, MC Academy closed, so I moved to Bayswater. I’ve been there for two weeks now, and I think it’s much better. I can speak English all the time with students and teachers, and the classes are very good,especially for improving different skills. Thanks to Bayswater, I’m getting a great experience. Now I can speak much better, and all my skills have improved.

Fantastic experience: Honestly, this college can easily be the best place to study a language once you find the right teacher and level. I spent five months at the college and had many teachers. Most were good, but I struggled a bit with teaching styles and didn’t feel much progress until I reached B2 and had classes with Alex. That completely changed my experience. I saw real improvement in just a few weeks, and my IELTS score jumped significantly after studying with him. The reception staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and kind. I really appreciate all of them for their excellent service, with special thanks to Abdelkader and Emely. The academic office is also very understanding and cooperative I want to especially thank James, who is truly outstanding and considerate. What I loved the most was their interactive teaching style – they don’t just rely on textbooks, but use real-life situations, group activities, and conversations to help students feel more confident using the language. The atmosphere in the classroom is always positive and supportive, which really motivates you to improve.

Fantastic experience: I stayed at this college for only two weeks. During this time, my English skills improved more wonderfully than any other learning experience I have ever had. As I was the only Japanese student and much older than the other students, I was nervous at first, but thanks to the kindness and warmth of the wonderful teachers, staff, and the young students I studied with, my two weeks of English learning were a lot of fun. And the different activities offered here, the opportunities to learn history, sports, and cultural exchanges. I really enjoyed all of them. My homestay family also gave me wonderful memories. I am very grateful to all of you. I really hope to visit again someday.

Fantastic experience: It was a really enjoyable experience. I'm not exaggerating when I say it was the best 6 months I've spent in my life.

Negative experience: Studying in Bayswater (Liverpool) was not a good experience, neither in terms of accommodation nor academics. We booked a studio for two (2) people with Bayswater through Vita Student, considering it was close to the school (approximately 100 meters), and paid 295 pounds per week, which included breakfast. However, upon arrival, we were assigned a very small room meant for one person only. It had no natural ventilation, which caused high heat peaks. It was very dark and damp. We had problems with the refrigerator, which generated too much ice and wouldn't close. The bathroom was very small and uncomfortable. The staff were unfriendly and never resolved any of our issues. After almost two (2) months, and with the help of the accommodation team, we were moved to Calico, which, while larger, was further from the school (approximately 2 kilometers). Now, as for studying in Bayswater, it wasn't the best experience either due to the lack of seriousness and professionalism of some teachers. They came to improvise the class, didn't have prepared topics, or simply didn't show up because they had other jobs (such as playing music), and being a teacher was just a hobby, which caused a break with the methodology and the guiding principle of each level. Finally, I want to mention that my wife and I had paid for six (6) months of study in Bayswater until February 16, 2025; however, due to work issues, we had to return to the country early, studying only until December 6, 2024. With the Director Sarah, a very kind person, and the Bayswater accommodation team, we managed to recover the money invested in the accommodation. However, it was not possible to obtain a refund for the academic portion, and the only option offered by Director of Studies James Reilly was to grant us academic credits for a period of one year, allowing us to study in Bayswater from any country where they are based. I consider this reprehensible, abusive, and arbitrary, since I don't have time to study again this way. In other words, we each lost two (2) months of study money. The correct approach was to charge a penalty and return part of that money. In conclusion, it was a waste of money, time, and a disastrous experience.

Fantastic experience: I spent 5 weeks at Bayswater School and felt great, safe and very welcome. The lessons were great but I would suggest that we could have different teachers from the start or maybe have the chance to choose as soon as possible because sometimes you might prefer a different approach to the subject. I think the test should be given considering the length of time students will be in the school program. Although I know I have improved my English, I feel I have missed some important lessons. I must say that the school website is a great study tool and has helped me a lot once I discovered it.
