Negative experience: ما انصح بالتعامل معاهم انا دفعت مبلغ الكورس و الفيزا ما طلعت ليهم ٦ شهور يقولو بيرجعو المبلغ و ما رجعوه I strongly advise others to think carefully before dealing with this institute based on my experience. I was informed that my refund would be processed, yet the money has still not been received. Over the past period, I have been given multiple assurances and promised timelines, none of which were met. The stated refund timeframe was 2–5 weeks, but it has now been almost 6 months, with no resolution and no clear accountability. Despite repeated follow-ups, the issue remains unresolved, and the handling of this matter has been extremely disappointing. This level of delay and lack of follow-through on commitments is not acceptable, especially for a financial matter of this nature. I expect this issue to be resolved urgently.

Fantastic experience: I spent the best year at this college I learned alot with ms Lamya , also enjoyed every moment with my class and the staff are very kind and helpful especially Mehreen and nursury staff ( Kalsoom, debbie and paula ) I miss them

Negative experience: I went to Berlitz Manchester two years ago, and it was hands down one of the biggest wastes of time, energy, and money I’ve ever experienced. I paid £8,000 for a course that gave me nothing in return. I was almost 16, with a solid B1/B2 English level, preparing to start college in the UK. Instead of placing me in an adult class where I belonged based on my ability, they forced me into a junior class simply because of my age. They didn’t care about my goals or my level. That class was a complete joke. It was just me and one other student who couldn’t speak a single word of English, so we were going over the alphabet, days of the week, and months which I had already learned years ago. Every week, more beginners joined, and we had to start from the beginning again and again, repeating the same basics with zero progress. I explained my situation clearly, multiple times. I needed to improve my English so I could follow real college-level lessons. I begged them to move me to a class that actually matched my ability. Every time, they refused with no explanation, no flexibility, and no solution. Just “you have to stay”. There was only one teacher, named Sanjay, who actually tried to support me. He saw how unfairly I was being treated and how little the school cared. In the end, he quit his job in protest. That says everything. After wasting weeks stuck in a pointless loop, I finally quit the course early, and they refused to refund me for the rest of the course I never attended (over a month of lessons). I didn’t even get the basic certificate I asked for to prove my English level. When I requested it, they said the printer was broken and they would email it to me later. They never did. For £8,000, I received no proper teaching, no respect, and no certificate. Just excuses, disorganization, and a total lack of care. Berlitz might have an international name, but the Manchester branch is a complete embarrassment. They are disorganized, unprofessional, and only care about taking your money, not about your progress or your future. If you’re serious about learning English, especially as a teen or intermediate-level student, DO NOT waste your time or money here. I regret ever enrolling, and I wouldn’t recommend Berlitz Manchester to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I spent the last 5 months at Berlitz Manchester and had an amazing experience! What really stood out to me was the strong connection between students and teachers — it felt like we were all on the same wavelength, more like a big family than a traditional classroom. The atmosphere was warm and supportive, and whenever you had a problem, the teachers genuinely did their best to help and support you. I’m really grateful for my time there and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to improve their language skills in a welcoming environment!

The college only care for their own business. Do not care about Stud era and host families. No support. Please do not register and study in this college and do not host with this college. Always issues with their payments and horrible management to deal with any issues

Negative experience: J'ai suivi le programme « demi-pair » dans cette école pendant trois mois. Malheureusement, mon expérience a été très décevante. Le matin, je suivais des cours à l'école qui s’est très bien passé. Toutefois, le reste du temps j’étais au sein de la famille d’accueil pelin akin avec qui ça s'est mal passé. La maison était très sale, je n’avais pas grand chose à manger, j’étais le boniche de service à faire le ménage toute seule chaque semaine, et je n'avais pas de directives claires sur mes responsabilités. J'ai dû m'occuper de trois enfants, dont deux en bas âge, sans soutien ni encadrement approprié par la famille. L'organisation était chaotique. La mère n’était pas du tout communicante et a même été irrespectueuse envers moi. L'école n'a pas été présente pour m'assister et la directrice du programme Rachena n'a pas été réactive à mes demandes d'aide et a même soutenue la famille qui est une amie de celle-ci. Je ne recommande vivement pas ce programme à d'autres étudiants.

Fantastic experience: The reception staff is very good and always smiling and well behaved. My teacher Marc is helpful and repeats for us to remember the concepts.

Negative experience: لا اوصي احد يدرس بهالمكان لان سيئ حييل والاداره فاشله وماكو احترام للطلبه واخس شئ انهم يقيمون معهدهم من تليفونات الطلبه ، نصيحه شوفو مكان ثاني ، وبذات هاذي اللي اسمها Roshina وحده ما تحترم الطلبه وتعاملها مو حلو وتفكر ان احنا نشتغل عندها وما يهمها المعهد ولا مستوى الطلبه اهم شئ تاخذ منهم فلوس وخلاص ، لو في اقل من الصفر تقيم كان حطيت معهد فاشل بمعنى الكلمه

Fantastic experience: I have hosted students of Berlitz through their exchange program. It has been a great experience for us as a family. The students helped out with the children and became a part of the family. We keep in touch with them now and will see them again. Berlitz was great in supporting the students and helping them to find a happy home to live in while they continued their English studies. A great idea that works well for both hosts and students!

Negative experience: انا لا اوصي ب مانشستر بيرلتز بسبب الاداره جدا فاشله وتعاملهم غير جيد ومكان الاقامه ايضا ليس جيد وليس هناك فعاليات والفصول فيها عرب لا يوجد اجانب سوى ٥ بالكثير في المدرسه باكملها ولا يوجد بها جميع المستويات ووضعوني في مستوى اقل من مستواي وراح علي كل التطور المعلمون يبذلون قصارا جهدهم ولكن الاداره لم تتعاون معهم والمعلمون يتغيرون باستمرار بسبب الاداره المعلمون جيدون لاكن يتغيرون باستمرار الترجمه ‏Translation I do not recommend Manchester Berlitz because the management is very incompetent, their treatment is not good, and the place of residence is also not good. Fantastic experience: The school is fantastic because students are from different countries. Students from Spain, Germany, Thailand. It is not just Arabic students. And the school uses a professional course book that is not old. It is updated. The teachers here are amazing. I recommend the school to everyone. The taxi transfer is fantastic. The driver gave information about the city and he was fantastic for a new students coming to the country for the first time.

Negative experience: Fui con un grupo de maestros españoles. La academia no esta preparada para muchas personas, no tienen suficiente espacio e infraestructura. Además el curso podría haber estado mejor...

Negative experience: Muy mala organización por parte de la gerente y la dirección de la academia. Estuve realizando un curso julio y las clases no han cumplido las expectativas esperadas. La academia no disponía de cafetería y no estaba lo suficientemente limpia. Los profesores que me dieron clase lo hicieron lo mejor posible. Nada recomendable.

Negative experience: Por mi reciente experiencia, no la recomendaría en absoluto. Es evidente que clasifican a sus alumnos, y unos reciben mejor trato por parte de la mánager que otros, lo cual deriva en un trato diferenciado según tu país de procedencia y el dinero que te dejes con ellos. No nos sirvió de nada intentar mejorar las cosas porque no se nos escuchaba o se hacían oídos sordos. Me gustaría decir que son profesionales, pero en su mayoría los profes que nos atendieron (todos los alumnos éramos docentes), acababan de llegar y nadie tenía muy claro cómo organizar nuestras clases. Improvisación y decepción. Alguna profe proactiva, y buenas intenciones por parte de los profes, pero se veían limitados por las restricciones e imposiciones de la manager.

Negative experience: Pésima calidad y mala organización. Nada recomendable, pese a que los profesores que me han dado clase lo han hecho lo mejor que han podido. Sucia y con demasiados alumnos. El trato de la gerente tampoco ha sido bueno.

Negative experience: Estuve un mes en julio 2022, en la escuela y la organización fue nefasta. Cada día era más desastre que el anterior, las clases no seguían una programación coherente. Las excursiones no estaban nada organizadas, es más, una de ellas a Liverpool la tuvimos que aplazar dos horas, porque no teníamos tickets de tren para todos los estudiantes. No recomiendo esta escuela, ha sido perder tiempo y dinero.

Negative experience: Muy mala organización por parte de la gerente. Estuvimos un grupo de 50 maestras y maestros con una beca de la Conselleria de Educación y lamentablemente el dinero invertido no se destinó para lo que se les había contratado. La residencia que nos buscaron estaba muy, muy sucia. Profesores contratados sin saber si quiera qué debían enseñarnos aunque ellos (los profesores) lo hicieron lo mejor que pudieron. No la recomiendo.

Negative experience: Une machine à fric sans aucune sécurité !! Mon avis concerne les placements en familles et particulièrement les séjours demi-pair ainsi que la gestion/direction, les professeurs sont adorables et les cours de qualité. J’ai eu une chance (incroyable de devoir parler de chance) immense avec ma famille, mais je trouve cela important de rapporter les faits dont j’ai été témoin. J’ai participé à un séjour demi-pair de 3 mois, au cours desquels j’ai vu/ entendu des situations incroyables : des filles placées dans des familles où elles n’ont pas accès à une douche, pas nourries pendant 2 jours avant de pouvoir changer de famille ou encore où la santé mentale de la mère d’accueil laisse à désirer. De plus, aucun suivi des personnes placées n’est fait. La personne en charge des demi-pairs, qui essaie clairement de faire taire les gens, ne connaissait ni mon prénom ni le lieu de ma résidence à la fin de mon séjour (nous étions 4 au pairs à cette période). La plupart des étudiants demi-pairs sont des jeunes filles de parfois tout juste 18 ans, qui sont donc placées dans des familles sans aucun gage de sécurité! Comment cela est-ce possible ?

Fantastic experience: I have been in this school to improve my English for 3 weeks. The staff are attentive, friendly, enthusiastic and take care of us. If we're late, they worry if we're just late, lost, or worse. The lessons are very interactive and the classes are made up of different cultures which is very interesting (different points of view). We push ourselves up to really improve and the school organizes activities such as Lady Afternoon tea party so it’s not just lesson, lesson, lesson !
