Negative experience: I would employ you to consider other universities; I have been blindsided by liars, I was told to leave my course, due to failing many resits, I was given no guidance from my lecturers or my course leader; I was told to find a new course by a certain date , however there was no communication between me and the university as they ignored all of my concerns; I received an email saying that they were reconsidering their decision, as they apparently realised that they cannot judge students solely on their performance, through online learning, so they told me that they would pay my fees and suggested that I find a another course and reapply to the university, hearing this I was feeling positive and was considering rejoining the university. However, I recieved an email today saying that I was no longer a student at the university and had to pay back my maintenance loan, this put me in a disastrous situation , as I have disabilities , I rely on normality and a stable home life , I have already moved to Cambridge from Birmingham, which was a major transition for me, I do not want to uproot my stable life anymore, so hearing this news, terrified, I really hope that you reconsider the kind of university that you want to go to , as I would not reccomend this for anymore, who is looking to have a future.

Negative experience: Worst ever I really do not recommend it to any one. The university is getting worse and worse every year, the lecturers' level is getting worse, module leaders are careless they do not care at all about the students especially the business management module leader she gave me two appointments and she did not come and she didn't even tax herself to send msg to apologise . she did take many decisions that affected me directly and now she is saying she can't do me anything so she is the worst module leader ever seen in the worst university

Negative experience: I would like to warn every new student that is ready to apply to this university. You will be expecting delays, excuses, you won't be provided with information at the right time. And then you'll be held responsible for the after math. I hope student do read this before applying highly recommended to seek other university #Arusuck

Negative experience: NOT THE DEGREE THATS ADVERTISED. signed up to do animal behaviour and have done nothing but statistics from the start of year one. Says you can do this degree with a C at GCSE, what they really mean is that they want you to have done a-level maths. No real focus on animal psychology, all the focus is on designing stats tests and studies. Such a shame as I fought very hard to get onto this degree but have felt incredibly under supported as a student with additional needs that would be very little effort to meet on their part. I do not recommend ARU to students with additional needs or without a very high functional ability in maths. Sad to say I dont feel I can continue with this degree as its not at all what was advertised.

Fantastic experience: Life is not easy for any of us. But what of that? We must have perseverance and above all confidence in ourselves. We must believe that we are gifted for something and that this thing must be attained. It’s such a beautiful campus with modern facilities.

Negative experience: I am a very mature student, and enrolled for the Ethics and Medical Law part time course in 2017. I passed all the assignments, apart from one, the Research proposal, which I failed badly. Whoever marked the paper said I had included inaccurate and vague information without explaining what had been inaccurate. I am an Ordained Priest in the Church of England and hold an MA in Pastoral Theology. I paid £8100, and cannot afford to continue. Very poor value. Chelmsford Campas Revd. Richard Humphries

Fantastic experience: Went to pick up some of my granddaughter's equipment including a big chair.two young men saw us struggling and they ran over and gave us a hand. Well done them. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: After being away for 6 months, students are coming back to start the new academic year. I dropped my daughter today.

Negative experience: As a Cambridge local we've had nothing but trouble from ARU students making our quiet residential street unliveable.

Positive experience: Not a huge campus. But the campus placed in the historic city of Cambridge adds to the value.

Negative experience: Dont go here, terrible university bottom rank in UK
