Fantastic experience: My experience at Cavendish School in Bournemouth has been wonderful. The teachers are incredibly supportive, flexible and attentive, always adapting to each student’s needs and making learning both enjoyable and motivating. Everyone at the school — from the administrative staff to the academic team and the director — is kind, patient and welcoming. They create a warm environment where learning a new language becomes a truly enriching and beautiful experience. Cavendish School truly feels like a home away from home.

Fantastic experience: I took five days of educational leave. The school enjoys a prime location, making it easily accessible. I had the privilege of studying under an excellent instructor who meticulously tailored our lessons to suit our individual needs, given that we were the only two in the group. It was a truly remarkable experience to have a context sign the native. The teacher demonstrated exceptional engagement and expertise. I have gained a great deal of knowledge and experienced a wide range of enriching activities, from the initial welcome to the classroom sessions and the highly entertaining Maltese humour. The school provides comprehensive documentation, including a certificate, to verify your learning outcomes.

Fantastic experience: I was at this school for 6 weeks, it was my first time. I really liked it, I hope come again. In this school I improved my English, and I also met nice and interesting people. The teachers are very nice, and they will be happy to help you if you don't understand something. We went to the Christmas walk with school, it was very fun, and also we have Christmas party, which our teachers prepared for us. The speaking clubs were cool and funny, we went bowling, to the cafe, and played a lot of games. The host family does everything possible to make you feel comfortable, like at home.

Fantastic experience: This is my second time here. And this time I spent an incredible 6 weeks here. I made many new friends and improved my English. The most interesting teachers who always give their all. Definitely visited again!!!

Fantastic experience: I’m absolutely gutted to hear about all those bad reviews. It was certainly the best week of my darn life! I’ve been scrolling through the reviews for quite some time now and I’m shocked about all the rubbish that comes out of people’s mouths. First of all; I learned a lot without even realising it and I think I’m not only speaking for myself but the entire group because everyone was really chuffed before, during and afterwards the lessons. And the people that say “oh I haven’t learned anything” or similar stuff, provably didn’t even LISTEN. I was super entertained the whole time and never knew school could actually be FUN. To be honest I even enjoyed school a lot more than free time! Everyone is just absolutely charming (especially Trevor and Rob xx) including the guides! I had some chinwags with every single guide from Cavendish School Of English and they were all very embracing and simply brilliant. I’m still impressed how every single one of them has such a wide knowledge! Im pretty sure they’re all highly educated, I had 20 lessons with lovely Trevor and I was truly startled how much that bloke knew about literally anything! But not only Trevor impressed me with his skills but so did Richard (Mullins), Rob and Claire! They had answers to all my questions and even though I’m not a morning person I was always chuffed to be able to go to that bloody awesome school! A big big thanks to all of you, this was an experience I’m certainly always gonna cherish and never ever forget! I will definitely come back as often as possible by now and because of you guys even thinking about studying in Bournemouth. My host family were absolutely sweethearts and spoilt us rotten ;) It was really really hard saying goodbye to both my host family and the lovely school. Can’t wait to see y’all again next year, take care darlings!!

I came to this school with minimal knowledge of the language, but now I can confidently say that this school gave me the best knowledge. Fantastic experience: I was there in March 2024 for 4 weeks and I would always come back! Susan is a wonderful teacher and I could improve my English for my studies at university. Now I feel confident to speak in class. My class was like a family for me and we did some things together, e.g. we went to a nice cafe in Bournemouth and discussed many topics in class. Every Friday is a conversation club and Burcu organizes different activities for us, e.g. we had a funny Easter special or went to a museum. I booked my stay by Panke Sprachreisen which included half-day trips (one per week). Burcu organized two full-day trips (Jurassic coast tour and one trip to London) for me and it all worked very well. I would really recommend to visit Cavendish School of English. It was helpful to be in a small group, so everyone was able to improve their English skills.

Fantastic experience: I came to the school for the two years in a row. The last year was for an intermediate class. My teacher back home in Kazakhstan has noticed a difference, I’m more confident speaking and writing. Teachers were very supportive and were very helpful when I needed. The activities were fun and we went to see few interesting towns that I always wanted to see in England. I love the Cavendish’s School it’s so so close to the beach and town centre! I’m very happy and want to come back!

Fantastic experience: It’s my second visit to Cavendish School of English. My elder sister and brother visited this school a few years ago, so I did I . The first time I came in November 2023 in a closed group . I did an intensive course and found it very useful and helpful. So , I came here once again in summer 2024 to do a summer programme. I really like the atmosphere and the international mix, we have a lot of interesting activities and trips ( with guides!) . The teachers are great, everybody is very helpful and friendly. I’m staying with a host family and I’m very happy!

Fantastic experience: I was a long term student at Cavendish School for about 8 months. I started at A2 level, and left with a C1 level, which I’m proud of. Of course, I would not have reached that level without such a great and really competent teachers. The staff were also so nice, helpful and friendly specially Burcu. I learned English and made new friends. I appreciate my whole journey there. ❤️

Negative experience: My niece attended a one-week course and it was a huge disappointment. She was put into a class that was too advanced for her level and in which every other student was in a group. This meant that in all social activities, her peers were often talking in their own language, rather than English. As a result, my niece felt constantly isolated. She (13yo) got lost in one of the excursions organised by the school to Winchester because she was left alone and she did not understand the directions that the monitor had given her. Communication with the school was difficult throughout.

Fantastic experience: best school in Bournemouth! Classes combined with activities, central located residence and a whole happy vibe all around. Great place to work for also, so far I had a great summer :)

Negative experience: pongo una estrella porque no puedo poner menos, el trato con los estudiantes súper borde y malo, nos dijeron que estaba todo incluido con un tipo de pack de actividades y el día del parque de atracciones resulta que no lo han reservado y nos han dejado tirados, además de ir a la hora de desayuno a las 7:30 como si lo tuviésemos reservado no nos querían dejar desayunar y nos avisan en el mismo momento que no tenemos ni entradas ni bus en el que ir. Luego las clases no son nada productivas, no tienen sentido, tienen mucho que mejorar. No intentan hacer este viaje entretenido, les da igual todo. Los supuestos juegos en la playa es darnos una pelota para que juguemos nosotros. No lo recomiendo nada

Positive experience: My son Lukas Olschewski was the first day of three days today (19th of June 2023) in this school. The English lesson in school wasn’t good. The teacher was strange and he did many things but it had not to do with English. Hope he can change the class. Till now we can’t recommend this school. The guest family is very nice. My son is very happy to stay with this nice family. Zum Glück konnte die Schulklasse gewechselt werden. Jetzt macht auch der Unterricht Spaß. Die Gastfamilie ist super. Das Ausflugsprogramm ist auch sehr gut.

Positive experience: Die Lehrer waren sehr nett und gut in ihrem job. Was die Schule an sich betrifft die toiletten waren dreckig und kaputt,der Automat hat fast nie funktioniert. Aber ohne den Zustand der Schule mit zu berechnen waren es schöne 5tage

Positive experience: Kritischer Ort, sehr coole Mitschüler aber die Residenz ist sehr Schmutzig und es gibt kein klo Papier. Trotzdem war es ganz gut

Negative experience: Essen ist schlecht und teamed gehen ohne das Wissen der Schüler in die Zimmer und durchsuchen diese. Daraufhin werden Gegenstände entfernt und für den eigenen Gebrauch verwendet. Bsp: Vapes

Positive experience: очень классная школа Английского языка, именно здесь вы можете найти интересных себе людей, а также подтянуть свой english language, но... есть у этой школы как ни странно минус, тяжело её найти по причине того что выглядит она как обычный дом и ты не можешь её отличить от того же другого дома, несмотря на обозначающие знаки "Cavendish school"

Fantastic experience: Everyone especially the teachers were really kind and smart. Whenever somebody had any questions they were always there for you. All in all it was a great experience but at some points also a bit challenging, which made it even better.:)

Fantastic experience: The time there was really cool and we did a lot of great things. Like the trip to London, Winchester or Portland. The lessons themselves were also very cool, we did a lot of things that were really fun and not as boring as I thought they would be. It was also very good that we did most of the things in the class together. I can only recommend it to others :))

Positive experience: Is open fully and taking Students again. Students get an immersive experience in the English language, culture and history. There are lessons and activities at the School along with Tours of historical places, towns and cities including London. Students also get time to explore places with their peers and obtain souvenirs or mementos though I think they mostly like to frequent McD's & Starbucks Foreign students are chaperoned virtually 24/7 which includes living with Host Families and experiencing life and meals in an English homes.

Fantastic experience: Мы учились 10 дней в школе, жили в принимающей семье. Кормили хорошо. Все были очень добрые и всегда хотели помочь. Уроки понравились. Гиды на экскурсиях говорили понятно, так что мы все понимали. Ездили в Лондон, Оксфорд, Портленд, Солсбери, Винчестер и Саусгемптон.

Positive experience: Die Schule ist sehr gut organisiert. Es gab nie Probleme mit den Koffern oder den Guides. Außerdem wahren die Lehrer sehr motiviert und haben versucht uns den Lernstoff spielerisch rüberzubringen,was sehr gut ankam. Wir waren in Gastfamilien untergebracht. Die Gastfamilien waren sehr nett,das Essen hat auch gut geschmeckt und sehr ordentlich (die meisten hatten sogar eine ganze Etage für sich ganz alleine).Die Touren waren gut gestaltet. Die Guides waren sehr unterschiedlich einigehaben viel und gutes erzählt aber einer hat nicht so viel erzählt , das war ein bisschen schade , aber die Informationen ,die er erzählt hat waren sehr gut. Außer dem haben wir als Klasse einen gemeinsamen Karaokeabend gemacht, der sehr sehr lustig war ( wirklich zu empfehlen). Kurz zusammen gefasst war es eine prima Erfahrung .

Fantastic experience: It was an very cool 2 weeks with a lot of fun and a lot of activities.I have progress in english with lessons and we were doing five excursions with guids and visit London, Oxford... I find the food was qualitative and we have does two disco night and two karaoke, so i find it was the better activities. The leaders was very cool with us, so i recommand.
