Fantastic experience: The teachers at the school and the overall education system are very successful, and they are really attentive and caring towards the students. In class, lessons are taught in a very natural way without using phones or any kind of technology. For now, I’m really happy with everything.☺️

Fantastic experience: We had a great time staying here in Southbourne for three weeks. All staffs here are very friendly and helpful. Most host families are walking distance to the school which is very convenient and also beautiful beach is just nearby. Fantastic experience!!

Fantastic experience: Southbourne School English is nestled in one of the most affluent areas of Bournemouth, just a stone's throw from the beautiful beaches accessible via the charming Fisherman’s Walk. It’s also conveniently close to Southbourne High Street, bustling with delightful cafes and local shops, and near Hengistbury Head, a local nature reserve. The school itself is well-organized and offers excellent learning opportunities tailored to meet students' needs, hosting a range of engaging activities. I have consistently found the students to be polite and friendly, and in my opinion, this is truly the finest English Language School in Bournemouth.

Fantastic experience: Our sons attended two weeks of tuition only at the Southbourne School of English and truly enjoyed their time there. They benefited greatly from the lessons, learned a lot, and felt very comfortable in the school environment. They also had the opportunity to make nice contacts with other students. The team at the Southbourne School of English is exceptionally friendly, professional, and supportive. We are very grateful for their dedication and would gladly recommend the school to others.

Fantastic experience: Working with Southbourne School of English is a good way of meeting new people from different parts of the world and different experiences. They support you as a host, pay quickly and always keep you up to date. I have been hosting for 16+ years and have no plans to stop. Super way to fund meals out, holidays or supporting your own family at university. I have made a number of life long friends who come to stay year on year.

Fantastic experience: My stay at this school has been much more than just learning English. It has been an unforgettable experience. I’ve made a lot of progress, but I’ve also grown as a person. The school allowed me to discover new cultures and understand different mindsets. It enriched me far beyond just the language. I’ve made friends from three continents who have become true friends, and I’ll visit them in their countries. I was also fortunate to be with an exceptional host family, who has become like a second family to me, and it will be very difficult to leave them here. The teachers, the management, the academic, accommodation, welfare and office team, the cooks, and the activity leader are not only highly skilled, but also incredibly kind, caring, and always ready to help us based on our needs. They truly want us to succeed and are always there for the students, which has greatly helped me progress. I appreciate them both as professionals and as human beings. They create a wonderful atmosphere. I’ve really made a lot of progress in English! Before, my English wasn’t very good, but now I can have a conversation with anyone. Now, I want to speak English all the time and I’m loving the language more and more. I’ve become so attached to so many people here, and saying goodbye is not easy. I’m going to miss you all so much! Fantastic experience: Ho avuto il piacere di tornare in questa scuola tre volte. È una piccola struttura in cui ogni studente è ben seguito: gli insegnanti sono simpatici e riescono a far imparare la lingua in modo piacevole, il personale è sempre disponibile e qualsiasi problema è gestito al meglio. Anche gli studenti che hanno un livello alto di inglese vengono stimolati e hanno l’opportunità di migliorarsi. Le attività proposte, sia quelle che si svolgono in mattinata, sia quelle facoltative, sono divertenti. Le gite del sabato sono interessanti ed equilibrate tra visite varie e tempo libero. Anche la domenica si ha la possibilità di partecipare ad escursioni, ma anche un giro in autonomia nel centro di Bournemouth può essere piacevole. Proprio in questi momenti si ha la possibilità di creare dei rapporti con studenti provenienti da paesi molto diversi dai propri, andando a creare delle splendide amicizie. Le famiglie ospitanti sono sempre molto gentili e coinvolgenti.

Fantastic experience: I've been an agent for this school for over 20 years. All of my students have always really enjoyed their stay and felt they were more than "just visitors". Many have returned for several years and formed amazing bonds with their host families and love that the staff at the school remember them. All the teachers are experienced, welcoming and supportive and all my students have always lost their fear of verbal communication with their help. Of all the language schools in Bournemouth, Southbourne School, with its residential location and host families within walking distance of the school, friendly and very capable staff and excellent teachers really is a cut above the rest.

The building looks great after the recent renovations. The team are enthusiastic and motivated. Thank you for all doing a great job.

Negative experience: Teachers are good. Homestay experiences are terrible. One threw me out of her house. The other sweared at me.

Fantastic experience: I go here only as a coach driver and all the staff are always incredibly welcoming, warm , friendly and helpful at all times which makes my job so much easier.

Positive experience: I like the school and my host family all the teachers in the school had experience at lest 15 years teaching the school is friendly really I felt like home but they are very strict with morning attendance and it's not allowed drinks in the classrooms just water The school start 9:15 every lesson an hour and 15 minutes break until 12:45 The an hour break and afternoon lessons start. Fantastic experience: Die Schule und die Lehrer sind super. Die Angebote der Schule auch. Sehr kompetent und freundlich. Nur teilweise sehr strikt mit Masken bei Schülern dabei hatten die Lehrer selber keine an. Im grossen und ganzen lohnt es sich da für eine Zeit zur Schule zu gehen.

Fantastic experience: It's been a whale of time. The school has given all the opporunities for effective studying.The teachers and the staff have been very friendly, polite. During morning and afternoon classes we have mastered our language skills as well as we've broadened our mind. The atmosphere in the school has contributed to studying, interacting with other students( who have actually been very friedly, easy going and good-humoured) The beach( where we have spent enough time , admiring the view) facilitated our cross-cultural communication. My host family's been also worthy! Now there is a burning desire to come back, at least for one more week!
