Fantastic experience: I had the best time ever in Bristol. It was a wonderful journey with so many kind and amazing people I spoke english everyday and learned something new. The school, the teacher and classes were also great!!! Even though I needed to concentrate and try my best it was so much fun. And the topics were great and always timely. I learned something about British Idoms, British Culture, The Mind-Gut-Connection, Mental Health, Traveling, Journaling, Climate Change, Politics, Leadership, Nutrition, Creative Writing and much more … (but also Grammar and Vocabulary ) I loved the time in Bristol and am so happy and grateful that I spend my 6 weeks there. ❤️❤️❤️

Fantastic experience: La escuela me encantó y las instalaciones están muy bien cuidadas y limpias. Además la ubicación es muy buena. Tiene cerca muchos lugares para visitar, con un parque hermoso justo enfrente y paradas de autobús muy convenientes.

Fantastic experience: 5 stelle per il corso intensivo d'inglese, 5 stelle ai miei insegnati, 0 stelle alla famiglia! Avevo scelto l'alloggio in famiglia per vivere la mia esperienza a 360° : nella prima famiglia non mi davano né la colazione né la cena, e se c'era era immangiabile, il soffitto della stanza era pieno di muffa...Ho cambiato. La Casa della seconda famiglia era più pulita ma niente chiavi di casa, dovevo star fuori dalle 10,00 alle 19,00, spesso cene a mie spese perché non volevano cucinare per me, continui cambi di orari per doccia e uso del bagno, non potevo cucinarmi, non potevo mettere nulla in frigo, ero dabato a vista, il termostato della temperatura dell'acqua calda della doccia era stato sigillato per non far cambiare la temperatura impostata a 6 su 12, acqua tiepida. Ho camminato sulle uova per 6 settimane, non è stato per niente facile. Consiglio a EF di rivalutare attentamente le famiglie ospitanti. Ho conosciuto tantissimi ragazzi e ragazze, ho fatto gite stupende e attività interessanti, divertenti e istruttive. È stata un'esperienza molto formativa nonostante tutto. Da ripetere.

Fantastic experience: Nejlepší rozhodnutí co můžete udělat! Progres v angličtině je opravdu velmi rychlý protože angličtina je kolem vás od rána do večera. Poznala jsem tady opravdu ty nejlepší lidi! Systém ve škole je suprový - učitelé milý, vstřícný, chápavý,…, ve škole se dost naučíte ale není to tak že 5 hodin sedíte a biflujete se slovíčka je to brané formou hrou. Máte různé aktivity během výuky, konverzujete, vytváříte projekty/prezentace, atd. Sebevědomí v mluvení angličtiny získáte opravdu rychle protože skoro všichni ví že jsme tu kvůli tomu že se chceme naučit anglicky! Takže velká většina lidí jsou trpělivý a chápavý. Bristol je opravdu krásné město. Toto město je umělecké a opravdu velmi barevné, krásné ulice a stavby,.., je tu spoustu parku, není moc rušné ani moc klidné tak akorát najdete tu všechno co potřebujete, turisti tu taky skoro žádní nejdou spíše studenti takže pokud nenarazíte na lidi se stejným jazykem jste přinuceni mluvit anglicky což všichni samozřejmě chceme. Pokud váháte jaké město se společností EF zvolit vyberte si Bristol!!

Fantastic experience: Za tento kurz jsem velice vděčná. Jak škola tak obecně pobyt sama v Anglii na 3 týdny mi dalo hodně. Bydlela jsem v rezidenci a spíš bych doporučila tu. Můžete narazit i na dobré rodiny, ale také jsem měla kamarády, kteří ji museli měnit nebo se přesunout na rezidenci. Takže za mě je rezidence bezpečnější. Kurz je kvalitní a nějaké výlety jsou zajímavé. Jsem ráda za tuto zkušenost :)

El ambiente en la escuela es muy acogedor y se nota que hay un gran enfoque en ayudar a los estudiantes a sentirse cómodos desde el principio. Las clases son dinámicas y los profesores explican muy bien, siempre dispuestos a ayudar. También he tenido la oportunidad de conocer a personas de muchos países diferentes, lo que hace que la experiencia sea muy enriquecedora tanto a nivel académico como personal. La ciudad de Bristol me está encantando, tiene mucha vida y cosas por descubrir, y EF organiza actividades para poder explorarla y socializar con otros estudiantes. The city felt creative and full of life. My time at school made it even better — the classes were fun, the teachers supportive, and I met great people from around the world. Fantastic experience: I’ve been here in Bristol for a few days now, and I can already tell I’m speaking much better. At first, it was a bit difficult, but now I feel more confident and can express myself more fluently. Everything is really well organized, and there are so many activities to do, so there’s never a dull moment. What I like most about the city is that everything is pretty close, so I can easily get around by walking or public transport. This makes it easier to make the most of my time exploring and discovering new places. Bristol has such a lovely vibe, with an interesting mix of history and modernity that has really surprised me. The best part of the trip has definitely been making international friends. It’s great to talk with people from different countries and share experiences, plus practicing the language outside of class has helped me improve a lot. The language classes are really good, dynamic and practical and I can already notice improvements, especially in speaking and understanding. Overall, this experience has been amazing, and I’m really happy I came. I’m excited to keep learning and enjoying everything this city has to offer!

Fantastic experience: assolutamente soddisfatta, io sono rimasta 2 settimane e ho avuto un’esperienza magnifica, ho incontrato tante persone fantastiche e lo staff per quanto ci abbia lasciati liberi quando ne avevamo bisogno erano disponibili, erano presenti tante attività bellissime in cui era possibile visitare città e luoghi da vedere almeno una volta nella vita e il fatto che fosse disponibile farlo accompagnati da loro era una cosa molto carina. anche nelle lezioni mi sono trovata benissimo e anche rimanendo 2 settimane ho imparato molto, esperienza indimenticabile, se avete il dubbio, fatelo.

Negative experience: Inscrevi-me na EF Bristol com grandes expectativas, especialmente tendo como termo de comparação uma experiência anterior muito positiva em Manchester. No entanto, vários aspetos do programa ficaram abaixo do esperado. O valor total do programa é bastante elevado face à qualidade global do serviço, que ficou aquém das expectativas. A estadia na host family revelou-se insatisfatória no que diz respeito às condições de higiene, muito aquém do aceitável. Além disso, não existia real possibilidade de cozinhar ou sequer de fazer refeições com conforto. A casa de banho era partilhada e sem os devidos cuidados, o que levanta questões sobre a preparação das famílias anfitriãs para receber estudantes internacionais. Foi-me oferecida a possibilidade de mudar de host family, mas, tendo em conta uma experiência negativa anterior em Manchester, uma segunda em Bristol e os relatos de vários colegas que enfrentaram problemas semelhantes, optei por não arriscar uma nova troca e escolhi ficar num alojamento em Airbnb, assumindo esse custo adicional. Fica a dúvida de como será considerado este acréscimo face ao valor já pago pelo curso. Em relação ao staff da escola, a postura foi, na maioria dos casos, pouco empática, pouco simpática e sem grande proatividade no apoio aos alunos. As exceções notórias foram o George, a Liz, o Markus, o Elliot, guias na actividade Cheddar George e o senhor da cafeteria, sempre prestáveis e atenciosos. Quanto às aulas, a qualidade dos professores é boa e as dinâmicas de sala de aula são interativas e motivadoras. No entanto, verificou-se uma sobrecarga de conteúdos gramaticais em algumas sessões, sem o tempo necessário para consolidação ou prática adequada, o que prejudica a assimilação efetiva, especialmente para quem já tem conhecimentos prévios. Relativamente à marcação das atividades através da aplicação, o processo revelou-se confuso e ineficaz. Tive de efetuar a mesma reserva por três vezes, uma vez que a aplicação não indicava corretamente que a atividade já estava marcada. Como resultado, ficaram em saldo 69 créditos, sendo-me informado que esse valor seria reembolsado, mas com uma dedução de 10-20%. Considero esta situação inaceitável, uma vez que o erro foi da aplicação e, ainda assim, o prejuízo recaiu sobre mim enquanto aluna.

Fantastic experience: Todo el equipo de EF es maravilloso, muy atentos y todo el tiempo pendientes de que todo vaya bien y de que tu experiencia sea inolvidable. Sin duda, lo recomiendo.

Fantastic experience: I studied at EF International Language Campus in Bristol for 10 months and had a great experience. The school is well-organized, the teachers are supportive and friendly, and the lessons are dynamic and practical. I really improved my English, especially in my speaking!! The location is also perfect, right in Queen Square, which is beautiful and close to everything. I also met amazing people from all over the world and enjoyed the activities EF organizes every week. If you’re looking for a place to learn English while living an international experience, I definitely recommend this school.

Fantastic experience: Il have been in Bristol since the end of April, and I would recommend EF to anyone who wants to improve their English in a fun, comfortable, and welcoming environment. The teachers are amazing, and the staff is incredibly kind. I will miss all of them so much!

Fantastic experience: I like their English method and how they inspire students for learning this language. In my opinion, EF staff are focus and really interested in doubts I've had and solved it as the best manner that I've ever had!

Positive experience: The school is very nice and the environment is easy going and friendly! The organization of the courses is excellent and the teachers are extremely competent. I surely recommend to plan a study trip with EF, if you’re willing to study and get out of your comfort zone it’ll reward you with a lot of positive experiences and new skills! Also Bristol is a lovely and exciting city, not too overwhelming and touristy as London. I’m not giving five stars only because, if you’re staying in a family, as you can expect they’re not all shiny and perfect as breakfast cereals’ commercials, you’ll most probably have to be very flexible, but if you have problems the accommodation staff is eager to help. All the guys here try their best to make your experience fit to your needs and goals. Also it’s not at all cheap from the start and when you’re at your destination you still have to pay some extras for transport, meals and activities, that especially here in the UK are quite pricey.

Ve škole vládne přátelská atmosféra, o nováčky je postaráno hned od začátku, systém výuky (nejen frontální, ale i kombinace s aplikací v mobilu, kde jsou cvičeni, kvízy) je moderní a nápaditý. Na závěr je připravena “graduation” (i pro krátký pobyt).

Fantastic experience: 我剛從EF Bristol campus回來，這次的英國遊學體驗 我的顧問是Ashley ，超感謝她，我的狀況有別於一般學生，是個想趁新工作報到前不到一個月的時間，安排出國充電的上班族….因為時間很趕，我很快告訴Ashley 我的想法：「要最短的兩週課程、想學英文又不想只是學英文、住宿要舒適且不受打擾、價格要划算等等…..」，結果她很快的告訴我EF不同校區的不同宿舍質感、不同特選課程，所以我選了看起來宿舍最美的Bristol ，並且學了英文也同時修了喜歡的視覺藝術 在此推薦，因為工作期間有幾週甚至有一兩個月GAP，想出國充電，但不想跟團或拉著行李箱一直換飯店的自由行；喜歡深度旅遊新城市，那EF Bristol絕對是最佳解答☑️ （Bristol campus在市中心，交通方便，靠港口有肉有海鮮、去倫敦也很快喔～）

Fantastic experience: È stata l’esperienza più bella della mia vita. Ho conosciuto tantissima gente e ho anche trovato dei veri nuovi amici. Bristol è la cittadina perfetta per poter andare a soggiornare e studiare l’inglese, è tranquilla ma allo stesso tempo non mancano le cose da fare, piena di posti da visitare ma anche di pub e luoghi in cui divertirsi. La scuola è in centro quindi è il top. La mia host family è stata davvero meravigliosa e gentile con me. Io mi sono fermata per 7 settimane e sicuramente il mio inglese è migliorato tanto e sono molto più sciolta; a scuola ho incontrato maestri veramente in gamba che mi hanno aiutato tanto. Esperienza davvero unica!!!!

Positive experience: Si vous avez l'occasion de vivre cette expérience n'hésitez pas. On apprend une langue c'est une chose mais on en apprend surtout sur nous même car le fait de s'immerger seule durant une période dans un environnement et un mode de vie qu'on ne connait pas nous permet d'en apprendre beaucoup sur la vie en général. De plus on a la chance de rencontrer des personne venant des 4 coins du monde ce qui est hyper intéressant car on peut découvrir de nouvelles cultures . Au niveau de l'enseignement, pour ma part , j'ai été à EF Bristol et tout c'est super bien passé . Jai eu un professeur extraordinaire . J'ai mis un 4 étoile car par moment il y'a des petit problèmes d'organisation ou autre mais bien évident rien n'est parfait et c'est tout à fait normal . Je repars de cette expérience grandi et heureuse car j'ai amélioré mon anglais . Merci EF !

Negative experience: Deben mejorar un montón la asignación de las familias anfitrionas, sobre todo cuando se trata de menores de edad y más aún, si de la familia que asignan solo uno habla inglés, pues la familia No es nativa….no pueden generar un choque cultural tan marcado, y menos sin informar ese pequeño detalle antes que viajen nuestros hijos. Es verdad que deben aprender a convivir donde sea y abrirse a las experiencias, pero recuerden que son chicos que salen por primera vez muy muy lejos de sus casas. Mi hijo con tan solo una semana, la sola comida lo descompensó. Un poco más de estudio en esa asignación. Por este lado para nada los recomiendo.

Negative experience: Organisme à fuir absolument Tout se passe très bien jusqu’à la signature, ensuite les mauvaises surprises s’enchaînent. Frais complémentaires, aucun suivi sur place, mineurs pas du tout encadrés, aucune communication avec les parents. Expérience catastrophique concernant mon ado. Passez votre chemin si vous ne voulez pas perdre votre argent.

Fantastic experience: My experience here is amazing! I met a lot of good friends for life from everywhere and that’s the most magical part of this experience. Everyone here is nice, whether it’s the teachers or staff, they are always ready to listen and help you as much as they can. I improved a lot and I feel like I grew up and learned about life since I’m here. I choose the 9 months program, September until May, so I have more time to enjoy and more to see in Bristol! Fantastic experience: Je suis partie à Bristol pendant huit semaines en septembre / octobre 2024, et c'est l'une des meilleures expériences de ma vie ! Le campus est très bien situé, il fait face à Queen Square et est à deux minutes à pieds du centre ville. Le bâtiment en lui-même est un peu ancien mais reste très mignon. Le personnel et les enseignants sont formidables, à l'écoute et bienveillants. Même si j'ai été placée en C2 dès mon arrivée, j'ai tout de même appris de nouvelles choses, notamment du nouveau vocabulaire. J'ai apprécié les activités qui m'ont fait sortir de ma zone de confort, et je remercie Damien d'avoir été mon professeur ! Le choix des SPIN est très divers, et j'ai adoré étudier l'art avec Simon. Pour ce qui est des cours en ligne, j'avoue être moins fan du concept ; les sujets abordés étaient intéressants, mais le fait que ce soit en visio rend le cours moins immersif et captivant. Concernant ma famille d'accueil, je n'ai absolument rien à redire, si ce n'est que je n'aurais pas pu espérer tomber dans une meilleure famille ! J'appréhendais le fait qu'ils aient un bébé d’un an, mais la petite était adorable. Les plats que ma famille cuisinait étaient délicieux, et j’avais hâte chaque soir de rentrer dîner. Je me suis sentie comme chez moi, et n’ai à aucun moment eu le mal du pays. Enfin, j’ai rencontré des gens venant de plein de pays différents avec lesquels j’ai eu beaucoup de plaisir à échanger. Je me suis également fait un petit groupe d’ami·es (baptisé le "gang of besties" par Damien) qui m’a permis d’apprécier encore plus mon séjour. Je ne peux que recommander de venir à EF Bristol, le personnel et la ville en elle-même sont très accueillants, et cette expérience m’a permis de prendre confiance en moi. Une chose est sûre : je reviendrai à Bristol dans le futur !

Negative experience: Totalmente deluso, sopratutto dalla host family che mi hanno assegnato dalla quale sono scappato dopo poche ore, dato le condizioni non dignitose, ma ancora più deluso da come è stato “gestito” (non gestito) tale mio disagio dall’ufficio accomodation, dato che mi sono trovato un alloggio da solo. Unica nota positiva è stata quella di aver fatto amicizia con ragazzi di paesi diversi e la professionalità di alcuni insegnanti.

Fantastic experience: Ho notato che Ef Bristol é molto attiva sui social e che ci tiene al benessere degli studenti al campus, ho fatto molte esperienze nell’ambito delle vacanze studio anche fuori Ef e ho preferito Ef sulla cura del pre partenza perché posso contattarli telefonicamente quando voglio, c’è il sito in cui vedere quanto manca alla partenza e in più posso confrontarmi con altre persone che sono partite per questa destinazione per capire meglio cosa visitare

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic stay in Bristol during my study vacation! The lessons were engaging and interactive. The staff at the school were always friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even better. My favorite memory was visiting the Clifton Suspension Bridge and enjoying the stunning views. I chose Bristol because of its vibrant atmosphere and rich history, and it didn’t disappoint. I also met some incredible international friends, which made the experience even more special. The only suggestion for improvement would be to provide more detailed information about the host family before departure. Overall, I had an amazing time and would definitely recommend Bristol!

Positive experience: Discreta l'organizzazione delle ore di lezione anche se in altre scuole ho notato meno "tempi morti" e molta più efficienza. La scelta della "host family' è stata deludente. Casa disordinata, sporca e camera condivisa molto piccola con un letto a castello e pochissimo spazio per vestirsi.Bagno unico usato da 4 persone non idoneo. Una settimana è stata sopportabile ma certamente non avrei tollerato un giorno di più. Sono una adulta che è uscita dalla propria confort zone, ma tutto ha un limite e ritengo che anche per i ragazzi sia indecorosa una sistemazione analoga.

Fantastic experience: Ich habe eine wundervolle Zeit bei EF Bristol verbracht. Das Personal, sowohl die Lehrer als auch andere Angestellten, sind unglaublich lieb und helfen gern weiter. Es gibt unglaublich viele Aktivitäten, die man besuchen und bei denen man viele Freunde finden kann. Auch der Unterricht ist super aufbereitet und hilft sehr, das Englisch-Level schnell zu verbessern. Besonders durch das Konzept der General Englisch Stunden, der Online Vorlesung und der SPIN Klassen gab es eine reiche Varietät an Inhalten, die sehr interessant waren. Insgesamt war mein Aufenthalt wundervoll, besonders durch all die wundervollen, internationalen Schüler, die man mit EF kennenlernt und mit denen man nach seinem Unterricht in Verbindung bleibt. Generell würde ich EF Bristol sehr weiterempfehlen, besonders für ältere Schüler über 18, oder auch über 20. Auch mit meinen Gastfamilien scheine ich Glück gehabt zu haben - alle Leute, mit denen ich interagiert habe, waren unglaublich freundlich und haben sich sehr gefreut, neue Schüler aufzunehmen und ihnen die schönsten Seiten von Bristol zu zeigen. Leider gab es in der Schule immer mal Gespräche darüber, dass andere Gastfamilien und die Residenz nicht so wundervoll wären, aber im Großen und Ganzen ist EF Bristol einfach großartig. Wenn man sich für eine Sprachreise entscheidet, dann liegt man bei EF Bristol niemals falsch!

Positive experience: I went to EF Bristol for about 4 weeks and had an amazing time!! However i did mostly cause Bristol is an amazing city for young adults and because i made lots of friends. The school is not ‘that good’ i would say. My english was already C-2 the day I arrived. Iknew that but wanted to go for the experience and the diploma. However the classes were boring with most teachers and i didn’t learn much new. I even had a argument in class with a teacher about my absences while i was a few minutes late,… like? i pay a few thousand euros and they treat u like that? that really really bad from a teacher at a private-like school since EF is quiet expensive. Some teacher were definitely good tho like Liz, George and Bill. I did have an amazing time in Bristol, its the best city in the world i would say! The school has an amazing location on the beautiful square and close to a lot of shops and the harbour. You can do so many fun things in Bristol and have amazing nights out: i recommend SWX and Thekla is one of Bristols most famous clubs. The four weeks have flown by and it was an experience i will never forget!! I made many friends and was really happy. I stayed at the student house residence which is unfortunately closed right now. I did have some problems there since the house was old but EF was always there to help me and called me back straight away when i had a problem. The student house mightve been a tad old but it was the ultimate bonding experience tho, nothing beats making dinner with all the international students; eating together every night and having movie nights or walking to school together. I recommend that way more then living on your own in this experience OR a host family. I would definitely not recommend that if u want to go out a lot since theyre all atleast 1 hour away by bus. Dont do it, the host families are nice for sure but the rooms are tiny and its way to far out of the city to have THE best experience i would say. Overal i did have the time of my life and i DO recommend it!! 22 y/o girl.

Negative experience: Non posso scrivere i dettagli o la recensione diventerebbe lunghissima. Mi limito a dire che per quel che rientrava nella competenza di EF sono rimasta totalmente delusa. Per fortuna ho saputo risolvere alla loro disorganizzazione da sola e che ho trovato altri studenti con cui ho condiviso il viaggio con cui ho passato bellissimi momenti ed anche la città Bristol è davvero bella quindi sono tornata soddisfatta della mia esperienza. Ma se iniziare un’esperienza da sola in un’altra città lontano dalla tua famiglia è difficile, se viaggi con Ef è ancora più difficile. E purtroppo questa situazione non l’ho vissuta solo io, l’accomodation degli studenti è stata una tragedia !

Fantastic experience: È la seconda volta che parto con EF e mi sono sempre trovata bene. Sono stata entrambe le volte a Bristol nel loro nuovo residence. Il punto forte di ef credo sia la scuola, le lezioni e il metodo di insegnamento (nonché scopo principale dei miei soggiorni). Organizzano anche molte attività extra scolastiche interessanti per conoscere più persone e aiutarti ad apprendere. Se c’era qualche problema ne parlavo con i responsabili e facevano sempre tutto il possibile per risolverlo. Non vedo l’ora di tornare

Positive experience: Bellissima esperienza che di certo mi ha dato tanto. Partendo dalla scuola era ben organizzata, pulita e in una buona posizione centrale. I professori eccellenti, dinamici, era difficile annoiarsi durante le loro lezioni, gentili, sempre pronti ad aiutarti, in particolar modo mi riferisco a Liz e Damien. Per quanto riguarda l’hostfamily personalmente mi sono trovata bene: la casa era pulita, ordinata e a 20 minuti di autobus dalla scuola. L’unica pecca era il cibo, sempre o troppo piccante o estremamente speziato o comunque ben lontano da come siamo abituati a mangiare e cucinare noi. Ne ho parlato con la mia hostmom ma spesso con scarsi risultati, perciò ho preferito mangiare sempre fuori o farmi la spesa per conto mio nella maggior parte dei casi. Comunque sia l’esperienza in famiglia va abbastanza a sorte e varia di caso in caso, in quanto, ascoltando l’esperienza di alcuni miei compagni, in molti si sono ritrovati in case sporche, disorganizzate, con famiglie poco gentili e magari anche ad un’ora dalla scuola. L’esperienza in residence è sicuramente più pratica stando a 15 minuti a piedi dalla scuola, il bagno è privato per ogni stanza e hai una cucina in comune in cui puoi prepararti ciò che vuoi, anche se quest’ultima non sempre lasciata pulita dagli altri ragazzi. Comunque sia, mi sono divertita tanto, il mio inglese è estremamente migliorato, ho conosciuto tante persone meravigliose e da Bristol ho avuto la possibilità di visitarmi Londra, Bath, Cardiff ed Oxford in un solo mese. Per concludere, è assolutamente un’esperienza che raccomando a tutti.

Positive experience: Bella esperienza all'interno della scuola ben organizzata. Ottimi insegnanti e lezioni interattive e di gruppo stimolanti. Un po'meno la situazione in famiglia, li e'stato fondamentale condividere, arrangiarsi e farsi capire. Nel complesso giudizio positivo, vacanza studio da ripetere. Complimenti per le attivita'del sabato, gite interessanti e alla portata di tutti.

Fantastic experience: I am happy of this first experience with EF Bristol. The school is in the centre of the city, near King's street (perfect to go in some pubs where there are also the conversation club) and the Queen Square park, a peaceful place where we could do various acrivities, have lunch but also some lessons. The English classes were dynamic, with a lot of games and speaking, therefore it was easy to socialize with other people. Finally, Bristol is a very beautiful city with many friendly people, street art and parks. :)
