Fantastic experience: I spent 4 months at IH Bristol and I highly recommend this school on a human scale. The teaching is of high quality and all the staff are very kind and concerned about the well-being of the students. Beyond the courses, I also met extraordinary people from all over the world who became friends. I will always cherish my time at IH Bristol and I leave with not just better language skills but also wonderful memories.

Negative experience: Is this a scam? Got registered to do IELTS at ihBristol, and they sent a payment link to pay for registration as online payment not available. Payed for IELTS exam and two days later, got an email from IELTS, saying my payment has not received. Tried to call multiple times first time operator was not on the seat, next time, operator was too busy to answer, next time operator is in Cambridge exam. No replies to emails! Suspicious!!!

Fantastic experience: I have just completed my CELTA at IH Bristol and would certainly reccomend it to anyone who wants to train to teach English abroad. The course is led by very experienced teachers who deliver the course exactly according to Cambridge requirements. The workload is heavy, but well paced throughout and with lots of support from Liz and Charlie, the course trainers. The other trainees and students in our observed lessons were all really good company.

Fantastic experience: I've been at IH Bristol for a Month and I'm already in love with it! I've been improving my English, learning about culture, not only British, but all around the world. Fantastic experience: I'm a teacher from Nîmes in the south of France. I was for 2 weeks in Bristol with a group of 25 students who had a Winter School at IHB. All the students were really satisfied and enthusiastic about all the lessons. All the teachers of IHB are both experienced, efficient and passionate about teaching. They make the students learn English in a friendly atmosphere and they enjoy a lot! Besides the students also appreciated the host families they lived in. I totally recommend International House Bristol : one of the best ways to improve one's English level! Do not hesitate to enrol yourself in this language course!

All the teachers and the people who work there are extremely nice and are willing to help you with whatever you need. They motivate you and help in the process.

Positive experience: CELTA at International House Bristol is a very professional course - fun and engaging. It's hard work, but completely worth the effort. The staff are supportive, the teaching interesting and the students lovely! I learned so much and the tutors were willing to answer any questions. It was a brilliant, albeit exhausting, four weeks.

However, the course was well organised, so we always knew what was going on, and Liz & Charlie are very experienced teachers who know what they're doing. Fantastic experience: Top class quality of teaching and a learning environment to match. I completed the CELTA course with IHBristol between the 24th April - 19th May 2017. During this time I experienced great attention to detail, a great variety of materials to learn from and a course that had clearly been tailored to ensure that trainees leave, not only with a 'fits the bill' level of knowledge but with a strong arsenal of teaching tools and experience. I was genuinely sad to finish after such a positive time. As part of the course, we experienced a class in Russian which has demonstrated how fantastic their foreign language courses must be. Therefore, I am filled with temptation to take up a Spanish course with IH, at my level. A final word is that everyone you come into contact with during your time in IHBristol is incredibly talented and supportive. I have come away with so much to thank them for and more role models than I could have imagined. Thank you IHBristol!!!
