Fantastic experience: Меня зовут Дарья. 16лет с Украины. Я хочу вам рассказать про самую лучшую языковую школу в которой мне пришлось побывать! Всего за две недели я получила огромный опыт общения с носителями Английского языка обучаясь и проживая в их доме. Мой преподаватель Анна Филипс педагог высшей категории .Она не только хороший преподаватель , но и очень отзывчивый и добрый человек! Ее стратегия искать индивидуальный подход к каждому студенту даёт возможность получить от курса больше чем ожидаемый результат! Это незабываемый и бесценный опыт! Проживая в ее доме, я не только проходила обучающий материал, но и закрепляла его в разговорной речи в быту , за кухонным столом и даже на прогулке с ее домашним питомцем! Мы много говорили, гуляли , ходили на очень интересные экскурсии. И самое важное я познакомилась и изучила традиции английской семьи!( Быт, кухня, праздники, вечерние просмотры фильмов в кругу семьи)))…. Отдельная благодарность менеджеру школы Ольге! Очень быстро и грамотно организовала и координировала весь процесс обучения. Была очень терпелива и отзывчива. Все волнующие вопросы быстро и профессионально! Это самая лучшая школа, которая заслуживает самых высших наград и хочется всем рекомендовать ❤️❤️❤️

Fantastic experience: I'm a french student who spent his stay at Daniela Thake house in Cottenham. These courses were very helpful for me to improve my English skills specially in debate and speaking more generally. The complaint letter and the speech were good exercises, and it will help me a lot during my life. For me 3 hours straights are a bit long, it’s better when we’re doing like 2 hours in the morning then 1 hours in the afternoon for example. It’s help me to stay focused on the lesson. The family atmosphere was very friendly and cosy. Juan and I were quickly integrated into the life of the family. Your children were very kind and specially Andrew who take us to London and Cambridge. The food is incredible and very balanced with a lot of country variety like Spain, Italia, England(obviously) and many others. The outings were very goods and it’s for me essential to acclimatise the English territory. This is where I had the most fun during the stay. Living in Cottenham is very nice because you’re close to Cambridge and London, but you are also free to go outside for a walk or running and just enjoy your free time. The garden is very nicely maintained and it’s a peaceful place to relax during the free time. The house is nice and modern. It’s clean and there is nothing that is in bad state. I truly recommend this stay for every teenager between 14 and 18, it’s a very nice experience that will improve your English skills and social skills. What's more, it will give you certain responsibilities that will help you to mature and you'll come away from this holiday feeling much more grown up.

Fantastic experience: My name is Juan Leza I am a 17-year-old boy from Spain and I spent two weeks with Daniela Thake and her children. The last two weeks have been incredible, the experience was brilliant, all the trips we had done it, all the things we had eaten and all the conversations that we had were priceless. The first day we came home the family was very friendly and each one of the members really wanted to speak with us. The first days we went to London and Cambridge, and we visited the things that Marin and I wanted to see, instead of the family deciding what we are going to visit they put as in c and give us the charge of what we wanted to do it and how we wanted. The experience at home was incredible. The variety of food we had tried from typical English dishes to pasta, salmon etc. The conversations we had we all members of the family were very kind and caring, and we learnt a lot from them, and they also learnt from us. The first days we were more with Andrew because he was our guide in London and Cambridge, the rest of the days we were more with Daniela, Emma spending time with them, with the lesson we talked about thinks that are going to be very useful for our lives. We had enjoyed a lot the big garden that they had, either with the jumping on the trampoline or our chill spots in the gazebo spent few afternoons in the garden. I will strongly recommend this kind of experiences because it isn’t just a vacation trip to visit London, it’s an opportunity for you to grow as an adult, learn English, learns as well to live without your parents and be more independent. I don’t know if I will come back the next year because I have already made plans for the next summer, but I will love to come back spend a week or two with them, maybe in another time of the year, maybe the experience is different, and I want to try it. Fantastic experience: Dos semanas con Simon Griffith y dos semanas con Michael Harrisson. Ambiente familiar estupendo y dos grandes profesores con distinto estilo. Os recomiendo a los dos .

Fantastic experience: Unsere Tochter war bereits zweimal mit LLE in England im Home Tutorial. Wir hatten bei beiden Aufenthalten sehr sehr nette Familien, als auch jeweils einen top Unterricht durch die Gastmutter. In beiden Fällen mit einer sehr guten Qualifikation und dem Können, unserer Tochter auch in den Ferien Sprachunterricht so anzubieten, dass er Freude macht. Der Aufenthalt hat sehr viel gebracht und die Sprachfertigkeiten unserer Tochter haben sich enorm verbessert. Auch das Programm mit den Gastfamilien war klasse. Viel Abwechslung und viele Ausflüge während der unterrichtsfreien Zeit. Unsere Tochter ist erst 13, so dass sich alles in der Familie abgespielt hat, was uns aber auch zu LLE geführt hat, weil wir keine Gruppenreise wollten, als auch keinen Aufenthalt in einem Internat. Herzlichen Dank! Wir empfehlen LLE sehr sehr gerne weiter.

Negative experience: Just very bad experience

Negative experience: Mia figlia ha trascorso una settimana a casa di una professoressa, con lo scopo di praticare l'inglese (a quanto pare con una delle migliori professoresse, Lana). A parte le 3 h di corso individuale mattutino, non ha condiviso nessuna esperienza con la famiglia. ha mangiato da sola per una settimana (colazione, pranzo e cena) e nessuna attività è stata organizzata per lei il pomeriggio (a parte una, in seguito ad una mia richiesta). Non ripeteremo certamente l'esperienza.

Fantastic experience: He estado 2 semanas en casa de Janie, todo gestionado con LLE, y estoy muy satisfecho con el resultado. Tanto por la calidad de la formación ofrecida por Janie, como por su hospitalidad y por hacer lo posible por que mi objetivo de avanzar en mi curso de Inglés se consiguiera. Mi course Manager de LLE, Isabel Recio, ha estado supervisando que todo fuese según mis expectativas y que la evolución de curso fuese bien. Es de agradecer la cercanía de LLE durante la estancia en UK Sin duda una experiencia muy satisfactoria en todos los aspectos

Fantastic experience: We spent a great week in Bristol during 2:1 course. Learning English in the family was so comfortable, that we enjoyed every chat, meal, lesson with family, and even doing homework!) I can say that it was one of the most interesting experiences in my life.

Fantastic experience: Mio figlio Stefano di 13 anni ha trascorso due sttimane ad Huddersfield a nord di Manchester ed è stata un'esperienza assolutamente positiva sotto ogni profilo dall'accoglienza al soggiorno al cibo al tempo libero per arrivare all'esperienza di apprendimento eccellente grazie alla quale è passato da un livello A2 a B2 ( certificato anche qui in Italia pochi giorni fa ad un test per capire a quale livello iscriverlo). Il ragazzo nei primi giorni faceva fatica e si stancava molto ma al rientro cominciava già a pensare la farse in inglese prima di parlare...

Fantastic experience: Hi! I’m from Ukraine. I’ve stayed in Newport 3 weeks and now I want to share my recent experience. To begin with, I want to say a few words about my host family. The family was very friendly and caring, because they were spending a lot of time with us. Also, there was a little baby, called Mollie. She was very funny and we enjoyed to play with her. They were like our friends: we were playing different table games, football, watched British TV series together and talking about everything every time. What about excursions: that was really awesome! We got a lot of impressions and emotions from different places. We’ve visited Swansea, Burry Island, Cardiff many times and also the places like coal mine, mountains, museums, restaurants and shops. Furthermore, I made a lot of friends. We really got close with the Spanish girl- Lucia. We had a lot in common, so we’ve spend our time together. There was also the ability to meet family’s relatives and friends. What is more, the English program was very good. It was definitely appropriate for my level and improved it even better. I’m not absolutely fluent, but I can easily talk with others, keep up the conversations and talk on different topics. Also I improved my other skills, such as writing, reading, listening. All in all, I want to say that I’m really satisfied with that opportunity. I’m recommending this family and LLE school for everyone, that wants to improve English skills, taste British traditions, make new friends, and , of course, spent the summer unforgettable!

Fantastic experience: The best stay in England Food The food was lovely, Daniela cook very well. We had three meals. Breakfirst : we' ve got milk, cereals They were a lot of kind of cereals and we've got an orange juice. For lunch we've got two sandwiches or pasta carbonara. The sandwiches was good but i prefer pasta carbonara she makes it very well. For diner we've got some different meal everyday like pizza which i did it with her, we've got curry, chicken, risotto... . And some times for desert we can have ice-cream. We were never hungry because we can have as much as we want. Excursion The excursion was very good. Our first little excursion it was when we visit the village with Andrew ( the son of Daniela). The second we went to two museum which was cold Fitzwilliam museum and the second polar museum. In cold Fitzwilliam my favorite things were mummies and in the polar museum it was the model of boat. After visit museum we went to shopping it was very fun and at the end we went visit a lot of colleges and climb up an tower with the tight spiral staircase. But my favorite excursion was London because we went to London dungeon it was very fun and scary. After we went to Buckingham palace but they were a lot of people so we went to Westminster and we had a tour of boat in the river. Later we went on tower bridge, we climbed up and up there the were floor that was made with window. the view was beautiful, we took a lot of picture and we went at the front of the bridge because it was going to get up and open to have more place so the boat can pass. A few minutes later we went to Piccadilly Circus and we went in to Hamley it is a very big shop just for toys. I want to say thank you to Daniela for all the excursions, lessons and food. You are a good teacher you get me have fun into this trip. It was my favorite stay with Living Learning English. Hugo

Fantastic experience: Two Awesome Weeks With Daniela Hello! My name is Ivan Bokhan. I’m 15 years old and I’m from Belarus. I staying in a nice two-story house in Cottenham , Cambridge. I will be here for two weeks, with Daniela, Deryck (her husband) and two nice children. I stay here with another student called Hugo. I’m really happy that I can stay with so nice family. Family The family is really polite and funny. I think that is good that I can talk with native speakers. They have a children, Emma and Andrew (7-years old and 11-years old) and they are very nice and polite kids. I’m spending a lot of time with Andrew and we become a friends. I didn’t expect that in these family they have a children and I thought that it will be worse that without them but later we started to communicate very well. Lessons This is very good that in our lessons we can decide the time of the lesson per day (we choose 5 hours per day) . In our first lesson Daniela show us the fat book called “Phrases, Saying, and Quotation” and every lesson we need to take two frappes from these book and explain it. In the beginning it was hard but later it became easier. In our lessons we work from the book as well as discussing exercises with my partner. And that was interesting and fun. Daniela reproduced texts for us and we listened to it. We had a lot of reading, speaking and working with exercises. I think that the main reason for this improvement is that I’m speaking English all the time. In lessons, with the children, on the excursion and with the partner. And I think that is important to think in English. I’ve been in England twice before, but this time was the best. House I was really impressed when I arrived. I went upstairs and I saw my room and it was awesome because the room is very big and we have our own bathroom. I shared the room with Hugo(my partner) but there is more than enough space for both of us. Our bedroom looks very big and clean and there are two windows so the room is nicely lit up the whole day. But not only our bedroom is really comfortable. We live here in a big house, the sitting room as well as the dinning room are quite big. Sometimes we have dinner in the big, nice and comfortable garden.I was extremely glad when I saw our house. Food I’ve been in England twice before, but this time i had the best meals. We have three meals a day. In the morning we always have cereals with milk and orange juice. After lessons we usually have a lunch. Sometimes it is something lite like omelet or sandwiches. Near seven o'clock we have a dinner. Daniela always cooking something nice and tasty for example pizza, pasta, risotto, fish or chicken. And sometimes we can try very tasty desert like chocolate cake or “pavlova” cake. Excursions Excursions was really interesting. One time we were in London and the other days we stayed in Cambridge. In Cambridge we visited many different Colleges. For example the St. Johns college impressed me because it looks like the Hogwarts from Harry Potter. We had many activities in Cambridge, like visiting tho shopping centre, the Fitzwilliam Museum, swimming pool, aqua park, and I really enjoyed the boat ride in King’s University. When we went to London we had the possibility to decide what we want to visit. So we decided to go on the London Dungeon. After this attraction we did a short boat ride which was very beautiful. We left the boat near the Tower Bridge so we climb to the top and took some beautiful photos and went by metro to the Picadilly Circus. The excursion to London was absolutely lovely. In the end I want to say that the house, people, food, excursions was really great. Thank you "Living Learning English"!

Fantastic experience: He estado dos semanas en la casa de Andrew Charlton y ha sido mi primera experiencia haciendo este tipo de curso y no puedo estar mas feliz de haberme estrenado en una casa como la de Andrew, era como una segunda familia cogías confianza rapidisimo y ademas he aprendido en dos semanas mas ingles que en los ultimos 2 años.

Fantastic experience: Soy Cristina y he pasado dos semanas intensas practicando y mejorando ingles con LLE y con mi profesora Katy Andrews. Katy es una gran profesional que preparaba a diario sus lecciones cuidadosamente y se adaptaba perfectamente a las necesidades que yo le planteaba, trabajamos de forma intensa en todos mis objetivos y el resultado ha sido excelente, ya que he avanzado más de lo esperado. Por otro lado, la acogida en su casa ha sido fantástica tanto por parte de Katy como de su marido Ian que me han tratado como uno más de la familia. Hemos ido al cine, a clases de baile, a la iglesia y me incluian en todos sus planes. Ha sido una muy buena experiencia, totalmente recomendable. Gracias Katy e Ian!!

Fantastic experience: I'm Andrea Rizza and I studied English for one month with Karen Mizen in Bristol and I am very happy, I improved my English a lot, I saw beautiful places on our trips and I had a nice time in Karen's house. Fantastic experience: This year I decided to book an English course to improve my English.I am 59 years old and my level was pre-intermediate I didn't able to understand English conversation. A friend of mine recomended LLE. I sent my whishes, for example I preferred to stay in the country, in a quiet place. I Wrote that I has loved animals and cooking and I asked to meet a very patience teacher. I hoped to speak and understand English better. Everything has come true! I really enjoyed my esperience. I spent two weeks with Juliet , her husband and their lovely dog at Blandford (Dorset ). My teacher has been very preparated and nice. I founded the house very confortable, I tasted special food and visited very interesting places. My teacher and her husband did not spare to make me at ease. Very Very good!I recommend it to everybody.

Positive experience: My name is Matthias I am 16 years old and I from to France, it's my second experience with LLE and for the 2 time the trip was so amazing, I meet a amazing people and I improve my level in English and I discover the culture and tradition of English people, I recommended LLE for all student who want to improve his level.

Fantastic experience: My name is Rosa, and this was my second experience with Living Learning English. I have to tell that I would strongly recommend this organization to anyone looking for an English immersion program. All the staff is really kind, efficient and helpful. I spent two weeks with Katy, Ian and their lovely cat Dave in Minster (Kent). We had a 4 hour lesson every morning and Katy did It really light and funny. Every lesson was perfectly planned and We used different resources: Text books, News, films, radio…. She’s a really good teacher, She loves teaching and you can feel It. Katy had planned different activities to do every afternoon: visiting beautiful cities, museums, castles, the beach.…. And She really enjoyed as I did. Ian and Katy are very warm people. They were so kind to me that , I went with them to the cinema, to the bowls, to the pub with their friends…... They made me feel at home. Their house is a beautiful house with a lovely garden and I really enjoyed my time there. I will miss Ian, Katy and Dave All the above, helped me to improve my English level ,much more than I expected. I feel very happy with my experience

Fantastic experience: I went to Minster and I spent one week to Katy's house, her husband Ian and Dave, a very beautiful and sweet cat. I learned in this week much more than many other courses which I done in my life. I am 58 yeras old, so, I do a lot of courses in my life!!!!! And Katy is a very good and competente teacher; in Minster I studied 3 hours in the morning and then we went to Canterbury and Sandwich, two very nice towns!! And then to Quex Park, in the Museum and the garden, and I listened English, I learned to have a good relationship with english people. I am very very satisfied. Fantastic experience: Everything was easy with Leaving Learning English. I booked two weeks course and the experience has been really enriching. I stayed in Preston, Northwest, and John Rutter was my teacher. John and Lin were very nice and kind. The location was fantastic: parks nearby, walking distance to the city center; perfect for free time activities. Lessons were perfectly organized and we used different teaching materials: newspapers, videos, radio programs, role plays, etc.; they highly caught up my expectations. My listening and speaking skills have been improved and I gained fluency. However, the biggest advantage was that I could speak English all the time. Excursions were fun and interesting at the same time. For example, we went to a theatre play, which allowed me to meet more people and work on different accents and comprehension. I recommend John Rutter as teacher and Leaving Learning English!

Fantastic experience: I booked only one week with Living Learning English. They replied very quickly to my request. I chose Capel St. Mary, a nice village near Ipswich. Michelle Miller, my teacher, was very patient and professional. I learnt a lot with her manner of teaching. My level is not so high but I feel more confident after this experience. One week is not enough but with Michelle every one can learn English very quickly. Very professional. Also She suggested me the way for memorizing each new word. Very helpful was Michelle's family: they helped me every day for speaking. I recommend Michelle Miller to everyone. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you so much to Living Learning English.

Fantastic experience: Je viens de passer une semaine avec LLE, chez un professeur. C'était vraiment fantastique. J'ai progressé plus que je l'espérais. Les cours sont vraiment très bien construits, l'approche pédagogique excellente, j'ai beaucoup appris en m'amusant. J'ai réussi à dépasser certains de mes complexes pour parler. Le séjour chez le professeur a été un merveilleux moment.Le professeur était exceptionnel et l'équipe de LLE très aidante et présente même dans les détails comme le voyage! Fantastic experience: Company Living Learning English organized my course perfectly! They provided me absolutely with everything: recommendation about clothes, transport, what to bring, gave me all modern and useful course materials. Elaine’s and Patrick’s family was very lovely! I was so warmly welcomed, they did their best to make me feel at home. The food was delicious, although it wasn’t easy with me, because I’m a vegetarian. Our lessons were organized properly, Elaine brought me different materials, for example, we watched videos, or read different newspapers and magazines. The teacher asked a lot of questions and organized many conversations, it was very supportive. The teachers there aren’t just teaching you, they entertain you! For instance they’ve shown me really interesting TV-programs, told me about events I might enjoy, invited me to a party with their friends (this was really amazing, I met a lot of very nice, friendly and interesting people!). I’ve learned a lot, not just grammar but about speaking natural English. Before I came there I was shy speaking English, but now I’m confident, I’m not afraid to speak and make mistakes. I’d recommend Living Learning English to everybody!

Fantastic experience: I'm so happy to have chosen to do my course with Living Learning English. They were very supportive and always answered my emails quickly. I've spent a week with Michelle and Jeremy at Jermyns Barn, in Suffolk. Everything's been perfect! I've got a wonderful family, they really make me feel at home and the excursions have been lovely! It's been only a week, but it's amazing to see how much I've improved. I've really got to grips with my pronunciation (I've just learned this idiom :) ). We've visited a typical English village called Dedham to have tea and cake. We've been to the cinema, I've tried the Fish and Chips, which I loved, and last night we had such a great time at a local Irish pub, which was interesting because there's nothing like it in Brazil! Today is my last day and we are going to Ipswich to have lunch, it's sad but I need to go back to Brazil...I'll miss everything here...hope to come back! Hayna Borba - Brazil

Fantastic experience: I am happy to review my experience with my home stay family. This is my first time staying with an English family and I have realized that my English level has improved a lot that I am pleased with it. I also did leisure activities with my teacher after my lessons, such as: cycling, Segway, gym, crazy golf, running and swimming. At Christmas/New Year, we went to London with tickets to see the amazing fireworks display and had a party with Dot brother’s family on Southbank near the London Eye. I had a traditional English Christmas which was fantastic.

Fantastic experience: I'm so glad I could take part in this course, it's the firts time I had an oportunity to live with an English family. I really enjoyed it, I can see how my language is getting better. The biggest advantage was that I had to speak English all the time, not only in the lessons. We can also do different things with my teacher(in english), for example play sports, go shopping or watching films.

Fantastic experience: J'ai envoyé mes deux enfants à plusieurs reprises chez Living Learning English. Mon ainée est partie une 1ère fois en 1 : 1 à l'âge de 12 ans pour un séjour de deux semaines, puis elle est partie deux années consécutives en 2 : 1. Elle a vraiment progressé de façon remarquable, mais surtout, ces séjours lui ont donné le goût de la langue anglaise. Elle poursuit à présent des études supérieures où l'anglais est l'une de ses matières majeures. Mon second enfant est partie une fois en 2 : 1, mais elle a préféré le stage suivant en 1 : 1 . Le suivi des dossiers et l'organisation sont vraiment sans failles, tout est mis en place pour le bien-être de l'enfant, dans un environnement familial et pédagogique optimum. Je le recommande sans aucun doute !

Negative experience: Mia figlia di 15 aa.ha trascorso due settimane la scorsa estate a Brighton per un corso 2:1 con LLE. Dopo aver accettato uno tra i professori proposti e dopo aver inviato il primo anticipo ci è stato comunicato che sarebbero cambiati sia la sede che il professore, in quanto quest'ultimo si era reso indisponibile. In aggiunta la ragazza partner era a un livello d'inglese completamente differente da quello di mia figlia, cosicché l'apprendimento, nonostante l'impegno dell'insegnante, è risultato piuttosto deludente. Ho espresso le mie perplessità nella lettera di gradimento finale, ma non ho mai ricevuto risposta. Negativo.
