Fantastic experience: I’ve had an incredible experience studying at ILC Bristol over the past few months! The teachers are not only highly qualified and patient but also genuinely passionate about helping students improve their English skills. The teachers are always friendly and helpful, whether it’s assisting with course queries or sharing local tips. I’ve seen a huge boost in my confidence for real-life conversations, and I’ve made great friends from all over the world here.

Fantastic experience: I want to say thank you to the school staff for their excellent service, and I also thank the teachers, the best teachers I have learned so much from, especially Angela and Amy. The school's location is strategic, close to the city center. Momo.

Fantastic experience: After a 2 month English course, all I can say is that all the school's staff was very nice and helpful, and that Amy was a very good teacher! The only aspect that did not measure up to the rest was the school's social activities, which were non-existent at this time of the year, which is the silly season for the school.

Negative experience: Very disappointing experience. I previously had a good experience with this institution in 2016 at another branch, which is why I decided to enroll a family member here. Unfortunately, he wasted one full month of his annual leave without any noticeable improvement in his English. When we raised our concerns, they claimed he was placed in the wrong level and needed to be downgraded. This should have been identified during the placement test or at least within the first week — not after a whole month. The student accommodation was also unacceptable. The first home was unhygienic, and basic cleanliness standards were not maintained. After requesting a change, the second home was not much better, with hygiene issues in the bathroom as well. It seems there is no proper monitoring of host families to ensure student safety and comfort. Overall, poor teaching quality, weak administration, and very disappointing accommodation standards. I would not recommend this institution.

Fantastic experience: I studied at ILC Bristol for 3 months, and I can only recommend this school. We had an excellent teacher, very dedicated, who provided real individual follow-up. Every Friday, we had level tests to check our progress, which helped me improve week after week. The school also organised after-school activities to help us discover the city, the region, and even the country. It was an amazing opportunity to meet classmates from all around the world, to share our cultures, and to practice English in real situations. These were truly unforgettable moments of exchange and discovery. For accommodation, I stayed in a residence recommended by the school: clean, quiet, and only a 3-minute walk from ILC. Very convenient and comfortable for daily life. Overall, I was more than satisfied with my experience. A serious, well-organised school with a caring team. I highly recommend ILC Bristol!

Fantastic experience: It’s a good language school, and I definitely recommend it to everyone who wants to improve their English. I like it because it has a great location in the city centre, and the teachers are really nice and helpful. I had some problems with the accommodation, but they helped me solve them as soon as possible. Bristol is a safe city, and studying here will be a lifelong memory for me.

Fantastic experience: My 8-year-old nephew joined ILC Bristol’s summer school for 3 weeks during his visit this summer. Words are not enough to describe how satisfied we are. Every day he had a full and exciting program, with plenty of activities 6 days a week. He not only had a wonderful time but also became much more fluent in speaking. Many thanks to all the teachers and staff at the school. Throughout the process, they were always professional, friendly, understanding, and informative. We are more than happy with the experience and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone :)

Fantastic experience: I studied at ILC Bristol for 3.5 months, and during this time, I improved my English level from elementary to intermediate. I was really impressed by the atmosphere at the school. The staff are incredibly welcoming and attentive, always ready to help, listen, and assist with any questions. One of the school's biggest advantages is its focus on individual learning—language classes never have more than 10 students. The highly qualified teachers are always there to guide you through the complexities of the language. I also want to highlight the interesting activities outside of regular classes. Every month, you can participate in engaging events, coffee chats, and go on excursions to different cities, which really enhances the learning process. If I ever choose language courses again, I will definitely choose ILC Bristol.

Fantastic experience: A great choice if you want to improve your English. Highly qualified teachers, fun classes and a friendly staff who look after you and want to make your stay a pleasant one. Theey also organise activities after classes and at weekends. Bristol is also a very cosmopolitan and interesting city to visit.

Fantastic experience: Great teachers and impressive methods of learning. I've studied there for 10 weeks. Doing morning and evening clases for C1. There were a lot of ppl from abroad who I had the chance to met. The atmosphere was vibrant and also a study environment when needed. Just to mention, the reception stuff is amazing and really comprehensive. After my course I think I'm really prepared for my CAE Cambridge Exam.

Fantastic experience: I attended this language school between April and June 2019. The teacher (Karolína) was very friendly and helpful and knew her subject well, she helped me to develop confidence in myself; the classes are small groups so you get a lots of chances to get help from your teacher and to participate with the other students. Also the school is based in central Bristol which makes it easy to get to. Overall my experience with this school was positive and I recommend it to others.

Fantastic experience: Our son Paul (who was 17 at that time) went to TEG Bristol School last summer. He was really thrilled (which is very rare for him) with the lessons (Standard+ 1h individual per day) during 2 weeks and a half. He found the group lessons very good and the individual ones very useful to help him with the things he didn't understand in the first ones or to develop notions or vocabulary. He also liked very much the family chosen by the school for him. We are so confident in this school that we're sending this summer his little brother Kim (13) for the junior program and that we recommended the school to friends and 3 of them are going too.

Fantastic experience: I studied for a month in TEG Bristol last summer, and I honestly had a great time. The classes were fun and yet I learnt a lot, mostly expressions and "useful" English -not the typical things you learn and never use after you've memorized them. Every week students changed as they came and left, but we were never more than ten , which is really positive because you get to participate much more during the lessons. Apart from the classes, the school has a wide program of activities. If you make some friends you may not want to join the afternoon activities, but they are great if you want to spend more time with your partners, find out the best places in Bristol or you just want to keep practicing your English. I'm going to join TEG for a second year so I guess it says everything when it comes to my opinion and personal experience!! - Estudié durante un mes en TEG Bristol el verano pasado y, sinceramente, lo pasé muy bien. Las clases eran divertidas pero aún así se aprende mucho, principalmente expresiones e inglés "útil" (no las cosas típicas que aprendes y nunca usas después de haberlas memorizado). Cada semana, los estudiantes cambiaban según iban llegando o marchándose, pero nunca éramos más de diez, y eso está muy bien porque permite participar mucho más. Además de las clases, la escuela cuenta con un amplio programa de actividades. Si haces amigos al llegar puede que no quieras unirte a las actividades de la tarde, pero están muy bien sobre todo si quieres pasar más tiempo con la gente de tu curso, descubrir lugares nuevos en Bristol o seguir practicando inglés. Este año repito con TEG así que supongo que eso lo dice todo sobre mi experiencia!!

Fantastic experience: It's such an amazing school. I've been in TEG for three months and honestly, I've improved a lot. You can choose between different type of classes: General English, communication skills, preparation for IELTS exam... The teachers are well prepared. A part of being your teachers, they are your support in Bristol. Anything you need, ask them! As well as the staff, they are always helping you if needed and always planning amazing activities for afternoons. They also provide good accomodations (host families) If you want to learn and enjoy at the same time, I really recommend you TEG

Fantastic experience: My English course in TEG Few months ago I decided to keep my English up to date through a total English immersion in UK. It is not an easy decision to make when you have already taken up courses in academies, colleges and universities in UK and Ireland. So, I was seeking a complete course of English, in a cultural and cosmopolitan city like London but also cheaper and well-connected in order to travel around England and Wales. For this reason, the first step was to ask anyone with a good recent experience. A friend of mine, a great Spanish teacher, had been in UK twice (Bristol and Southampton) with the same college: TEG English. Therefore I chose Bristol, the modern artists' capital. I was pleased to have selected this language school for many reasons. Firstly, I loved my English classes with few students tutored by a professional teachers’ team. Besides, I found the facilities of TEG very useful and comfortable. Also, I had an enjoyable time with my mates and teachers in the different activities and trips offered by the college. But what I liked the most were the chats in the kitchen during the coffee and lunch breaks- :) Last but not least, the office staff were lovely people who always supported me, listened to me and helped me. They really made me feel at home,. I love Bristol because of them . In other words, I found not only a college, but also a family. In conclusion, Anyone who would like to have a real English experience in England should definitely try TEG Bristol TEG Bristol.

The school is in a gorgeus location in the middle of the commercial area of Bristol. Moreover, they provide to all the students a wonderful weekly social programme which make you feel a big family. Fantastic experience: I studied at TEG Bristol for two months and it was a very profitable experience. All teachers are prepared and experienced. Due to the method based on a communicative approach the lessons are absolutely useful and funny. The staff is very kind and available if you need any help. I really appreciated their flexibility, the wide range of courses and the opportunity to study in a nice and friendly atmosphere. Every week they organise different social activities so you can share your interests with your peers making new friends and improving your English in a different way. Before me, a relative of mine studied at TEG during the Junior Summer Programme and I have to say that they have excellent courses for aldults and for under18s too. I highly reccomend it.
